Where Do My Posts Go? The Board Game

It's a busy day at work. Excuse the insanity of my subject line.

Hi all. With the influx of new players, it's probably a good idea to play everyone's favorite game, "Where Does My Post Go?" Old players, you can join in, too, if you need a refresher.

The only posts in [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh should be classes, clubs, announcements over the PA system, and other official school activities.

[livejournal.com profile] fandomhighdorms is for any public posts on school grounds outside of official school activities. Common room posts, visits to the gym or shooting range, stuff like that.

[livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies should be used for any posts around town, in stores, or in common areas of houses or apartments (the lobby, or living room, or porch). The common areas in townie residences can also go into personal journals depending on how open the post is. Use your common sense.

Personal journals should be used for posts in personal living spaces (dorm rooms or a townie's apartment), teacher office hours, out of town posts that don't go into [livejournal.com profile] fh_trips, random OOC posts or availability notices, or the occasional post that wanders around so much that it's easiest just to keep it in one place.

[livejournal.com profile] fh_trips is for larger group outings to places farther than The Mainland. Big group outings to a ball game, a roadtrip to Vegas with several friends, field trips. That kind of stuff. [livejournal.com profile] fh_trips can be used with permission from the admins.

[livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh_ooc is generally for things of an OOC but non-personal nature - updates on the friending list, informational posts on group outings or events, or OOC administration announcements (like this one!).

[livejournal.com profile] fhplotterywheel is for plot proposals, recruitment and information.

As always, if you have any questions on where a post should go, you can always feel free to ask an admin or a mod. Also, have a cookie. Bought fresh from the store because you don't want to touch anything I baked.

*thanks you for the explanation!*

*and takes a cookie*

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 06:51 pm (UTC)(link)
*eyes cookies suspiciously*

What kind of cookie? I'm not falling for Soylent Green brand Snicker Doodles again.

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
But those are the best kind!

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
♥ *happily accepts kitty cookies*

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
*wants to know if these are cookies for kitties or cookies made of kitties.

[identity profile] x5-alec.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Made of, dude, totally.

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
... *stares at cookies* Made of?! I don't eat kitties!

[identity profile] x5-alec.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Pfft. Kittens = animals. Animals = edible. Therefore kittens = edible.

[identity profile] x5-alec.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
You can't deny carnivorous math, Al.

[identity profile] cat-in-the-box.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm part kitty. You realize this would make me a cannibal?

[identity profile] kitty--fetish.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
*REFUSES TO EAT KITTIES OMG*

[identity profile] apocalypsesoon.livejournal.com 2006-09-08 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
*Passes him half a cookie* Try it, it's Burmese.

I would like to point out that I read the title as "Where Did My Pants Go?"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I would hope the answer is "on the lower portion of my body this morning" since I'm at work.

Pantslessness is frowned upon in architecture. Unless you're working for yourself at home. Then you just have to make sure you wear pants for meetings.

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
*went to school pantsless today*

...

*wore a skirt*

*is full of hilarity +10*

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I think my coworkers would find it weirder if I wore a skirt to work.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
No thank you, I'm already wearing pants.
swerval_zero: (Default)

[personal profile] swerval_zero 2006-09-06 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Lose the pants, then.
swerval_zero: (pink kitten Zero)

[personal profile] swerval_zero 2006-09-06 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, come on. You'll trade them out for a kilt.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
But why would I put on a kilt if I have pants on?
swerval_zero: (Zero in bed)

[personal profile] swerval_zero 2006-09-06 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
No, no, you take off the pants and put on the kilt.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
But why would I take my pants off while at work?

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Urge to make dirty joke in relation to your icon rising....

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Hahahahahahahahaha. Especially with the thread about eating kittens going on up above.

I HAD THESE THOUGHTS AT WORK, TOO.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
THIS IS WHAT I'M SAYING!!

[identity profile] x5-alec.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
...and I read that as "working on yourself at home", which leads to a passel of inappropriate architecturally-related jokes.

[identity profile] marsheadtilt.livejournal.com 2006-09-06 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
On behalf of the alumni I would like to file an official complaint that *our* community was not listed.

Or not... but it exists for alumni to keep in touch with current students/faculty and only alumni can post there :)

*steals all the cookies*

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, file your complaint from NEPTUNE, omg. :)

[identity profile] untouchableskin.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Please don't make her come back and file it in person.

[*sigh* it's been a long week and it's only Wednesday...]

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-09-07 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
... Fine.

*writes up a "Form For Complaints Regarding Leaving Information Out of Official Admin OOC Posts," e-mails it over*

[I am so with you on that...]
