FH Awards: December and 2006

I'd like to interrupt the crack that is AU weekend for crack of another kind in the form of FH Awards for December and all of 2006.

So many of these were really, really close, and truly everyone, not just those nominated or who received awards deserves a huge pat on the back. *pats you all*

And, uh, given the number of categories this month, I don't think it needs to be said, but this is a pretty image-heavy post. So I apologise to those with slower connections.

Thank you everyone for making my crack-brained idea of year end awards actually work out and thank you especially to thebluespirit and untouchableskin for brainstorming with me, helping me come up with categories and reassuring me that this wasn't the worst idea in the history of ideas.

Since Callisto was otherwise occupied in SERIOUSLY needing that hug, which it seemed she wasn't going to get anytime soon, a flaily squid in a plastic ball rolled on stage to accept the award instead.

"Uh... thanks to everyone who helped rescue me. This award is definitely for all of you. ~~And for all of you who played villains, too.~~. And most especially for Jamie for ~~organizing the whole damn thing~~ never giving up."

A xerox machine falls from the ceiling and crashes onto the stage with fragments flying everywhere. When the dust settles Jamie Madrox appears in the middle of the wreckage looking a little dazed.

"Ok. That's going to leave a mark."

Shaking his head he takes the award and grins.

~~"I don't know what I did in this life to deserve all of this. I'm just a girl from a trailer park who had a dream.~~

"First I want to thank Artie, The Strongest Man in the World. Without him I wouldn't be the twisted indvidual you see today. I'd also like to thank my bestest friend in the whole world: Darth Vader. I know you just pretend to hate me. You wouldn't give me detention if you didn't care. And also to my roommate who puts up with all my duplication nonsense. She's a saint even when she does smack the hell out of me."

"And finally to my girlfriend who is endlessly frustrated by me getting in trouble and detention. LOOK! I GOT AN AWARD! SEE! TOTALLY WORTH IT!"

"Now before I get off the stage I want to thank every character who ever laughed or boggled at me. In alphabetical order. Let's see first there was-"

Suddenly another Xerox machine falls from the ceiling on top of Jamie knocking him through the floor and underneath the stage.

"That's really going to leave a mark."

Kowalski the penguin swung out of the wings on a rope, nabbed the award on behalf of his AU self and his AU self's girlfriend and swung out in a clean swoop.

Left behind was a 'THANK YOU FANDOM!' note.

Alanna's acceptance speech: .......

Cheer! Or boo, as your temperament sees fit.

Zuko wasn't sulking. Really, he wasn't. He didn't want a hug or an award, so why would he?

"Thanks for you part in rescuing me," Marie said, going to give Zuko a huge hug.

*remains all stoic omg!*

Jamie just gives Zuko a big smooch.

Zuko was too shocked and disgusted to set fire to Jamie's hair.

Chad gave his fellow Best Male Performance winner a look. "I think we both know why we got this," he rumbled, "better give 'em more of what they want..."

FOR I DO NOT WANT THE WORLD TO END.
