Calling all Researchers! And other interested folks!
Starting tomorrow (Wednesday) after our illustrious principal announces the angels are the cause of the disappearances, people will be gathering in the library and computer labs to figure out where their friends are disappearing to and how to get them back. Not that it'll be quite that easy, of course. The first day of research will consist mainly for the inevitable running into dead ends and reading lots and lots about pretty angel statues on gothic cathedrals.
Towards the end of the day, you are welcome to start finding tiny references to people in the past babbling about the future and stone angels. Most of these people will be dismissed as crazy people, of course, but that'll provide a lead for the continued research on Thursday and Friday to figure out the clues needed to send the away teams out.
AND! For anyone who might still be confused by the timeline situations, we have a handy diagram made by the awesome
vkandis_son

The angels send people back in time to the past [A]
They live out their lives and die/get very old [B]
But they also send a message [C] to 2008, telling them where and when they are.
This message [C] causes the Fandom 2008 people to send a message [D] back in time, telling the victims to get to a certain place as soon as they can to go into stasis.
This causes Timeline [B] to split off into Timeline [E], in which they will stay in stasis until they reach Fandom 2008 again. A retrieval team will get them from the stasis place on Sunday night/Monday morning.
The victims will remember everything that happened from their arrival in the past until going into stasis.
They will not remember anything that happened in Timeline B (everything in the purple oval), and any knowledge of those events will be forgotten by the away teams by the time the victims are back.
The purple oval is the history you may create for your character if you want, and post in your LJ. It may be individual, or in pairs or with the rest of your group. It will not be remembered by anyone, will have no impact on your character or the game.
The time between arriving in the past and going into stasis [X] will be remembered in 2008, will have impact on your character, and is limited to two years maximum. Again, you can post it in your character's journal.
Both of these are entirely optional.
The story of what happened during Timeline B would be best posted on Saturday. What happened during period X on Sunday. Since this week is being played out in real time and any additional weeks, months and years will be crammed into one day (Sunday), it's probably a good idea to pre-write anything you want to post on Sunday.
Any questions, comments, pie?

Also, Anathema is known for her cracky ideas...so if you have anything really silly, toss it my way and she'll consider it an actual something to research. (I'm thinking...poisoned custard to begin with.)
I don't actually remember my point.
