The view from the island was spectacular this morning, as the sun rose over Fandom Island and its very cold, very white neighbour.
The temperature on the island wouldn't drop much below 55 (13c), today, but once past the edges or off the Causeway, it hit lows of 30 (-2c), and the sky is misty.
And yes, there were glaciers clearly visible in the seas surrounding the island.
