This meme is brought to you the thread on a Star Wars message board from 2005 and made me late for work this morning! But dammit, it was interesting.

So for those of you who have never had to choose a PB, I envy you because it can be very very hard. For those who have, who do you use? Why did you choose them? Or do you have any future journals you want to talk about how you searched high and lo to find that one perfect face for your character, or complain how you haven't?

When she gets seriously mad at someone who made a tactless joke as her home was burning down, she called him a "big meaniehead."

She, Tidus and Wakka hung out in the sewers of Bevelle bitching that this was a seriously lame way to execute someone.

The sequel - which I mostly jossed because it tried to turn the characters into bimbo-riffic T&A - still had her bouncing and shouting things like "GO, KLEPTO MONKEY, GO!"

If Dork!Rikku is wrong, I don't want to be right.

My favorite has to be with the Dark Knight dress-sphere, in X-2. You injure yourself in order to cause _massive_ damage to the enemies.

When Yuna does it, she says things like, "May pain be my blade."

Paine says things like, "I guess there's no choice."

And Rikku says, "Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!!!"

I'm fairly sure that if I didn't actually fall out of my chair the first time I played Rikku as Dark Knight and heard that, I came REALLY DAMN CLOSE.

Did you rename your pets? I changed Yuna's dog to "Tidus!", so that one attack would be "Holy Tidus!" Then Paine's falcon got to be Abscesse, and Rikku's monkey was Bütlyk. Which I decided she would swear was pronounced "boot-like" and not "butt-lick" and hey, he DOES lick his butt, it doesn't bother him, so shut up!

Confession: I made Paine learn Songstress just because of how much she bitched at you for putting her in that dress-sphere.
