1. What characters do you play/have you played? I have a lot. Here's the current list (http://evilenabler.livejournal.com/profile).
2. How long have you been playing at FH? RPing in general? I've been at FH since day one. And it was my first RP.
2a. If you've been at FH since the beginning, do you repress things? Yes. I repress the old skool *style* of RP. Because OW.
3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? *points to #1* Not as much as I should. Because I'm spastic and have a limited attention span.
4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? Oooh... good question. Um... Joan is actually really tough for me because she is the least like me and doesn't fit in with my usual type and the God stuff is a pain sometimes. I nearly dropped her last semester but a few people talked me into keeping her. She is getting easier to play.
5. Do you plan things like ships and character development? Ships: sometimes but sometimes they just happen. Character development: Usually planned, but occasionally something will surprise me.
5a. Ships that are planned versus ships that are organic? Differences? Usually a relationship will begin to develop in game and then I'll talk to the other player to see if we're on the same page about taking it further. I can tell you that Cassie and I were adamantly AGAINST having Chris and Summer hook up for the longest time though. You see how well that worked out for us. One I definitely planned was Marie and Jamie and we planned that before they even arrived on the island because I brought her in with the intention of having her develop her powers and Jamie seemed like a good candidate for making that happen because he could be comatose but not completely out of commission.
6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Friendship would be Veronica & Piper. Relationship... Marie and Jamie were together a long time. But I think Dick and V are probably the longest despite not actually being in a relationship. I have no idea.
7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon? YES. Holy crap. I fixed some stuff with VM canon. And we've fixed a LOT of things with Charmed canon. Like the existence of Season Eight. I foresee fixing of Heroes canon once Claire shows up.
8. Most surprising thing to sneak up on you character wise during your time playing at FH? Hmmm... the Veronica/Logan reconciliation back in the day. And their hookup during the Angelus Redux plot. Veronica has always been the easiest character for me to write and I think that's a big part of why things with her can surprise me so much. Like the development of her not-relationship with Dick.
9. How do you deal with a many threads happening at once with multiple characters? Do you organize your Firefox tabs? Set up multiple browsers? Something else? Tabs! I have Tabs Mix Plus and Colorful Tabs on my Firefox. And my tabs have to be in a very specific order. Occasionally I'll log one pup into IE if they are exceptionally busy.
10. Any Firefox or Greasemonkey add-ons you can recommend for other RPers? Tabs Mix Plus, Colorful Tabs, LJ-Login, Better Gmail, ummm I know I have others.
11. What sort of other organizational things do you do to help you play (meaning spreadsheets of classes, post it notes, GCal reminders, GDocs with notes on them etc etc)? I have my schedule spreadsheet (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pdS2nG8GkOS-S4gMyjyMAIQ) and I have reference tables (http://evilenabler.livejournal.com/10906.html) for each game I'm in. I also use G-cal sometimes and have the calendar widgit in my gmail.
12. Do you consider yourself OCD? Maybe a little? :D
13. Do you like playing with layouts and userinfo graphics for your characters? Yup! I'm not great at that stuff though and often rely on Nic and Cassie for help :D
14. Do you make your own icons or go icon-hunting regularly? How do you choose which to use? I have just started making my own icons (almost all of Claire's (http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=wantstocheer) are mine. I like having a wide variety of expressions available.

1. What characters do you play/have you played? A few! Ronan Nolan, Troy Bolton, Lulu, Eric van der Woodsen, and George Sands (or, well, I will be as of this weekend). And I dabble with different characters every now and then in mixed_muses, including Penelope Garcia.

2. How long have you been playing at FH? RPing in general? Two years! Just coming up on my two year anniversary, actually.

3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? I try to! I'm doing my best to have no more than three characters on island at any given time, not including things like Homecoming and Graduation. That may be changing soon, though, if the two characters in my head win out... ^_^;;;

4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? Oooh. That's hard to say. Every character of mine has offered challenges, but the only one I've gotten character-bleed from, really, is Ronan. ... And that was mostly on St. Patrick's Day, when he got drunk off his arse.

5. Do you plan things like ships and character development? Sometimes! Ronan/Peter was planned, and there's a couple of things in the works, at least as potential ideas. I don't think anything else has been planned, though -- the closest would by Troy/Sky, and that was more IC-but-OOC flirting leading into IC flirting leading into a relationship, so I guess organic in a different way. Troy/AJ and Eric/Myn both developed on their own, and godsDAMNit, George is not going to get involved with his roommate. I have a streak to break.

As for character development, again, it's a case of 'sometimes'.

5a. Ships that are planned versus ships that are organic? Differences? Not all that much, in my experience. I'm sure that's something that varies widely between players, though.

6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Oooh. Hm. Really, probably Parker/Ronan. He's been friends with other people -- Isabel, for example -- longer, but Parker and Ronan's thing, as casual as it is, is still one of the anchors in Ronan's life since coming to Fandom.

Of course, Ronan and Carmela really do kind of win out, since their friendship extends from canon, and I'm reasonably certain she was one of the first people he spoke to on-island.

7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon? Ohgodyes. Fixing canon is WIN. I haven't quite done it yet, though, I don't think; I've got some vague-ish plans, but it's for a live-canon and I want to wait first until it plays out some more.

8. Most surprising thing to sneak up on you character wise during your time playing at FH? Um. Big Gay Troy? He was supposed to be straight. Ronan being Slut of the Year wasn't exactly planned, either.

9. How do you deal with a many threads happening at once with multiple characters? Do you organize your Firefox tabs? Set up multiple browsers? Something else? Hah! I have a system. :D One Firefox window, with three f-lists (FH, my regular LJ, and now my Dreamwidth). Posts I'm involved in -- playing in, or otherwise actively threading -- go to the left of the f-list tab, and things I'm just reading go to the right, so it's FH playing->FH f-list->FH reading->mun threading->mun f-list->mun reading->DW threading->DW f-list->DW reading. And then other things like fic and suchlike follow the DW tabs.

10. Any Firefox or Greasemonkey add-ons you can recommend for other RPers? LJLOGIN. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, LJLOGIN. ... Mine scrolls now, by the way, because it is so long that it would otherwise extend off the screen.

I'm going to need to start keeping something for George, to keep track of the full moons; other than that, I rely mostly on memory, which is occasionally not the most accurate but is the only thing I will manage to actually use with any degree of reliability.

13. Do you like playing with layouts and userinfo graphics for your characters? I haven't so much, at least not with layouts, but I did just spend Saturday afternoon->evening updating the profiles for all five of my characters. I'm thinking of doing some work on layouts soon, too.

14. Do you make your own icons or go icon-hunting regularly? How do you choose which to use? I do both! I've certainly made icons before, and I go icon-hunting, too -- not exactly regularly, but when I want/need new icons for something. As for choosing which to use, it's often a matter of time vs. necessity. Or whether or not other people have done the same idea already, and done it better.

I can't even remember the proper order of them for here at FH: Setsuna Sakurazaki, Yasutora Sado, Rosette Christopher (and Chrono), Turtle Wexler, Kenpachi Zaraki (and Yachiru), A.J., Adah Price, Cal Stephanides, Charlotte York, Daisy Day, Minsc (and Boo), and, coming up Valentine Wiggin and Jasper Hale!
In other LJ RPs, I've played Setsuna again, Catherine (called Birdy), Faris Scherwiz, Relm Arrowny, Evangeline A.K. MacDowell, Shunsui Kyouraku, Mia Wallace, Asuna Kagurazaki, Orihime Inoue, Christian (Moulin Rouge), Rachel Price, and Mana Tatsumiya, which all are potentials for here now that FH is the only one I play.
2. How long have you been playing at FH? RPing in general? I've been RPing online for about fifteen years now, holy crap. The past...almost 4 years have been here at FH!
2a. If you've been at FH since the beginning, do you repress things? n/a!
3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, GOOD ONE. (When are we upping the limit again?)
4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? That's hard to say, because they've all been challenging in different ways. Adah made me bleed words, but I never saw her as tough. Kenpachi was definitely the toughest when it came to relating to people in a way of thinking of HOW to do it, while I feel Minsc struggles in relating to people/interacting a lot, although I don't ever seem to run out of posts for him.
5. Do you plan things like ships and character development? I plan some character developments if it aligns with a canon progression, but, for the most part, I'm a very 'organic' player and prefer to see how things go!
5a. Ships that are planned versus ships that are organic? Differences? Orgaaaaanic! I actually can't say I've ever planned a ship; my characters are all very independent, so if I tried, they'd probably rebel and end up hating that person. XD
6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Teddy and Chad @ 3 years, holy crap.
7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon? *eyes Bleach* Some canons are unfixable. *clears throat* Although most of my canons are closed canons, in that they're books, and I love taking from them, no need to fix! They give me great ideas for progressions.
8. Most surprising thing to sneak up on you character wise during your time playing at FH? CUPCAKES. You know what I'm talking about mouthy_merc! Adah/Lee is still surprising for me although I love them.

TABS AND LJ LOGIN ARE MY BEST FRIENDS EVER. I remember not knowing about tabs, and feeling like it was my birthday and Christmas combined when I discovered them.
10. Any Firefox or Greasemonkey add-ons you can recommend for other RPers? Would that be like LJ Login? Who doesn't use LJ Login? I'm probably super-simplistic, as I'm super-technically deficient.

14. Do you make your own icons or go icon-hunting regularly? How do you choose which to use? I daily scan through a ton of icon communities, scouting for current and potential characters. I current have 12,578 files in 682 different icon folders, and that's only a fraction of what I had before my crash in December. So, yeah, I kind of sort of like icons. It's hard to choose, though! I usually stick with a lot of what's pretty and a lot of what's expressive, especially if they're expressions the character will use often.

ETA: Also, I don't know if I really know what 'fixing canon' means, to be honest.

2a. If you've been at FH since the beginning, do you repress things? Yes. Mostly how bad I was at the beginning.
3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? I try to stick with what I know I can write. I've done a few characters which were a reach for me and I'm happy with how they've turned out.
4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? Mel was tough. Mostly because she was my first female character and it took me a while to get any confidence with her.

I always have the e-mail on the left hand side and then a conversation in each tab going in order of time I started from left to right. Thank God Firefox made it so you could move tabs around.

Google Calendar alarms remind me of classes and posts to make. I have notes of things for various businesses and classes in Gdocs.

3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? *looks up* Uh, no. I give some more attention than others but I like it when a CR post comes up and I've got 4 different choices when it comes to sticking someone in there.

4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? Meg is actually my hardest to play because she's so not like me. Usually when writing her pings I have to say the opposite of what I think. She's still one of my favorite characters to play.

5. Do you plan things like ships and character development? No. God, no. I tend to fall into ships by accident. And I think I'm totally lame and suck at that sort of thing. I usually let them be character development-wise unless it's something BIG in canon like Chuck's dad biting the dust soon and Street's eventual paralysis for Tim.

There's some ships from canon that I absolutely love so I don't mind having those planned (i.e. Marshall and Lily, Chuck and Blair) but, again, most of the time I fall into it. And I don't even get into ships that often (oh god, Lois hates me for that).

I let MP do all the OCD stuff for me and then I just read the stuff she tells me to. Also I have a white board to help me remember dates (it doesn't really help since I forget everything). GCal can bite me. I have tried and can't ever deal with it.

12. Do you consider yourself OCD? Eh, somewhat. I like having my icons and layout all organized and stuff but I'm not insane with it or anything.

If a new episode came out and I want icons of something specific then I'll make my own but I prefer to use other people's. I hate icons with a lot of text and crap on them for RP so I tend to choose blanks that are close up so I can get the facial expressions.

Also I'm trying to phase out Chuck's season two hair in icons. It's working. Kind of.

I think I came in like a week after FH started? In general I've done online RPing since college.

2a. If you've been at FH since the beginning, do you repress things?

If you've been at FH since the beginning you wouldn't need to ask me what Angelus I need to repress that poor couch.

3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not?

I am so bad at juggling multiple characters. That's why I'm currently cutting back.

4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed?

Probably Blair because she's not getting the amount of attention she deserves. This is something I'm hoping to fix starting this summer.

5. Do you plan things like ships and character development?

Sometimes character development, like if there are significant plot points (eg Peter discovering his powers). Othertimes it's fun to just see what happens.

5a. Ships that are planned versus ships that are organic? Differences?

Having tried both I think organic ships work better (for me, at least). Planned ships run the risk that the characters may plink in an unexpected direction, which leads to awkwardness.

6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played?

If we're defining ship as "connection of some kind" then Angel(us)/Logan would probably be the longest. If we're defining it as positive emotions only, then Angel & John have the longest friendship out of all my kids.

7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon?

YES. See: Willow and her lack of being addicted to magic as addicts do.

Willow/Peter. I still can't get over Tiny Jewish Santa falling in love with the Christian allegory. That's never not going to be funny to me.

9. How do you deal with a many threads happening at once with multiple characters? Do you organize your Firefox tabs? Set up multiple browsers? Something else?

Cry like a little bitch. My brain can only take so much, which is why I'm often not in AIM chat rooms.

10. Any Firefox or Greasemonkey add-ons you can recommend for other RPers?

Just LJlogin, without which I think we would have all killed ourselves long ago.

The big one would be GCal, which I sync to my Treo so I can see my character (and, yanno, my OWN) appointments for the day. I also get a daily agenda emailed to me which stays in my inbox until all classes/appointments have been pinged into.

I have color colded file folders. QED.

13. Do you like playing with layouts and userinfo graphics for your characters?

Meh. If I see something pretty I'll swipe it but otherwise no.

14. Do you make your own icons or go icon-hunting regularly? How do you choose which to use?

Hunting. I have little icon making talent. Which ones to use depend on how nice the icon is and secondly what it represents. It's always helpful to have a phone icon, a sleeping icon, and so on. I'll then keep using/rotate them out depending on how useful they are. I've had a few icons where they were nice and all but never used, so not worth dedicating the icon spot to.

There are also things like character needs, such as how right now Peter still has his emo bangs, so icons of him either have to have them or be cropped in such a way that it doesn't matter if you can't see them (or portray something he's doing in Fandom in a way that can't be shown in an icon with the bangs).

Likewise as Willow is growing older I'm slowly trying to phase out her younger icons for older ones.

Some actors are good enough that you can look at a picture and know the character. You can't swap an Angelus picture for Angel. The demeanor isn't the same.

What was that question about being OCD again? ;)

2. How long have you been playing at FH? RPing in general? I've been here since day one and it's my first RP, not counting a little goofing off on Prodigy boards and a day or two of LARP in college.

2a. If you've been at FH since the beginning, do you repress things? Heh. There are definitely things I would not have done if I'd known how they would turn out, let's put it that way.

3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? I used to, but my limit keeps going up? Like, I dropped Ella in part because five on-island characters felt like too many, but come Saturday I'll be at five again. I remember when I thought three was too many.

4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? Dream was very, very hard because his interest in humans in general is so minimal. Romeo kills me when he gets all Shakespearean; he's also the least like me. But it's all the good kind of trauma.

I didn't play out Claire's attraction to Billy Chenowith because it squicks me, but it also wouldn't have fit into her FH arc very organically. I do plan to fix Jack's canon, if he's around long enough, because the end is massively woeful.

But at least I knew what was happening.

Rikku has caused low levels of bleed, with major developments. And Faith left because she decided she had nothing else to say.

Naminé/Valentine evolved, and once she saved him from the abyss, it was a ship. Alice/Leto had amazing game-playing together, in Turtle's Young Entrepreneurs club, and fell into a ship. Faith/Renee was originally just going to be sex, since there isn't enough girl-love on the island; I don't think either of us were expecting them to move into a relationship. If Lizzy gets a Darcy, they'll be together, and if not, she'll be single until she leaves.

6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Rikku has been Deadpool's minion since February of 2007. Naminé and Valentine have been together since that July. And Rikku's club with Luke and Dawn started her first semester.

7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon? Yes, very. I apped Rikku inbetween two canons, and completely Jossed the latter. Naminé finished her canon, but I rescued her from her canonical fate of spending the rest of her life living in the back of someone's head. Because wow, not cool.

8. Most surprising thing to sneak up on you character wise during your time playing at FH? I was hoping Naminé would come out of her shell; I never expected how much she would. Also, I expected Alice to be weird and strange and too unnerving to have many close relationships; I'm glad I was wrong on that.

And I code preplay and other related things in EditPlus, which I am tempted to do a write-up for.

I made Alice's layout is based on one I found online of a map theme -- I found chess graphics and made a new header and so on. And I made Sam a header.

14. Do you make your own icons or go icon-hunting regularly? How do you choose which to use? BOTH. I am an icon fiend, and I make my own when I have to. Since I have Tabs Mix Plus and Colorful Tabs add-on, each kid has his/her own color that gets assigned to their tabs (this is also their color for my email tags and calendar). Then I generally organize the tabs by character so I can go down the line and just refresh once I'm logged in as someone. Also? ILU lj login auto refresh!

10. Any Firefox or Greasemonkey add-ons you can recommend for other RPers? I can't survive without lj login. I'm fond of Livejournal Add-ons, Read It Later, Colorful Tabs, Morning Coffee, Delicious, etc.

I pre-write all of my OCD and classes so I can post them without needing my brain to get involved at 7am. Yeah.

Playing Lee can be tough too because he's a ball of frakking emo sometimes. And that's CANON. Damn canon. And I still haven't nuked his home. Get ready for that emo when I finally do it. Mwahahaha!

Sometimes, I plan but sometimes conversations happen and that development springs up and whoever I'm threading with gets surprise emails (sometimes) with me going 'WOW, THIS WENT IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION THAN I PLANNED!'

Heh, this is like a trick question for me. Éowyn is the toughest character I've played, simply because of the uniqueness of Tolkien's speech writing, but Sam is the one who gives me bleed all. the freaking. time. I was so neutral on the Winchesters before I started playing Sam, and now I'm like a half-step away from being a raging, frothing Samgirl because he's so ingrained in my head.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Sam's relationships have all been planned. With Zoe and John it was like, "Well, they have a lot in common, let's throw them at each other and see what happens." I think the fact that my other characters aren't in relationships is heavily based on the fact that there aren't ones planned for them. Friendships are a lot more organic, and tend to happen in a "I blinked and now they get along" kind of way. (See: Chuck Bass)

The first thing that comes to mind is Sam being sort-of-friends with Chuck. It just kills me with laughter every time I think about it. The second thing is that before I started playing Jess, I was a hardcore Dean/Rory shipper. Now that I've spent a year in his head, I totally ship Jess/Rory, and I've found myself re-watching episodes that I hated and having a whole new love for them. Oops.

I use Firefox for all my RPing, and Google Chrome for my regular LJ. I use Colorful Tabs to organize tabs by colors, usually by post. Things that I need to have open but don't need to check regularly (such as OOC posts like this one) get their tab color reset so it's off-white. When I'm stalking watching other people's posts, the tabs get set to gray. When I have a number of threads in the same post, like Sam's library posts, each thread gets its own tab, and all of the tabs for that post get turned the same color (whatever I feel like making it that day). Big posts depend on how many threads I have. The brunch yesterday was all one color because while I had three different characters there, none of them had more than two threads. On things like the picnic post, everyone gets their own individual color for their tabs.

LJ Login and Colorful Tabs are the two I consider most vital. Also, when I'm writing a post and I type tags into the tag line, it auto completes them, but I can't for the life of me remember if that's an addon or not. Possibly LiveJournal Addons?

I use a program called Stickies. It makes virtual post-it notes that you can stick anywhere on your desktop, and that open up every time you start your computer or go to the desktop. I have a permanent one in the lower right-hand corner of my screen that lists out the days of the week and what I have to do on each day (sending people to classes or clubs, posting the clinic or radio linkdrop, etc.). When I have something extra to do, for a plot or something like that, I make a new note, bold the text, blow the font up to an unignorable size and put it right on top of Tweetdeck so that it constantly bothers me throughout the day until I get the task done. For example, right now I have a huge blue note reminding me that at some point, I have to finish uploading Morgana's icons, and it's right over my FH filter so I have to look at it every time I want to catch up on Twitter.

12. Do you consider yourself OCD?
I go back and forth between minor and serious OCD, as anyone who looks at my FH Delicious account might notice. Sometimes, things get properly labeled right off the bat, and sometimes they just get saved.

13. Do you like playing with layouts and userinfo graphics for your characters?
I'm pretty straight forward with my userinfo, although I am insane enough that I put each of my characters' userinfo text into the same format. I like playing with layouts, but I'm also very picky, so when I find one I like, I stick with it. All of my characters had the same layout until Jess came along, and now that I've found a new, pretty layout for Morgana, I'll probably tweak it and change everyone's to match, making sure that Sam's is the best since I read the game through him.

14. Do you make your own icons or go icon-hunting regularly? How do you choose which to use?
It really, really depends on the character.

- I had to make all my icons for people like Abigail, Layla, and Doogie, because no one else was making them.
- Kind people have found and made icons for Zoe and Éowyn, so I didn't have to worry about those.
- Sadly, people didn't start making good Chloe icons until after she'd graduated, so now she has awesome icons that I don't really have any use for except that they make ancient posts look pretty because I preserved the keywords.
- I managed to find enough Jess icons at old Gilmore Girls communities to get by, but I've always wished I'd found some that were more expressive.
- Martha's icons came from my absolute favorite method of finding RPG icons: I found other people playing her in other games and took icons from them (making sure they'd been publicly posted, of course)
- SPN fandom ensures that I will never, ever have to make Sam icons, unless it's for something crazy, like when he wakes up as a girl.
- The reason Morgana doesn't have icons uploaded yet is because someone on IJ went through the first season of Merlin and made 650 icons, and I'm still sorting through them. Yes, really.

I also make heavy use of Greasemonkey's LJ Unfolder script LJ time updater scripts. There's BBCode, which I use to speed up all of the little coding bits. I recently discovered Letter Count and make frequent use of that before posting long comments such as this one. 4297 characters, woo!

I loved joan_notjane's schedule spreadsheet so much that I did one of my own (which is a bit empty at the moment). Of course, there's the spreadsheet I used to track rooms at the Arms Hotel. I use RTM for reminders to do posts and a to-do list of what I need to do with each character on a weekly basis. And I finally caved and started using a spreadsheet to track all the journals I've made.

Quinn and Cher were really hard for me in that it felt so weird to play such normal characters in this weird an environment, and I just struggled with it. And Juno made me sad because I was so excited to play her and then immediately lost her voice. As for bleed, only Jaye, Aeryn and Jaina have ever caused that.

With Aeryn and Jaina, where I know they had a plot coming up in this month and they needed to be in such and such state of mind for it, I just keep that in mind when I play and they sort of go there naturally.

G'Kar is hard to pull off sometimes just because he's so poised and ... diplomatic. I try to keep him from being too stuffy, but he really has this refined attitude that takes work. Murdock, on the the other hand, is easier but oh yes to the bleeding. He can be such an emotional basketcase sometimes.
5. Do you plan things like ships and character development? Yes and no. With the boys, there's only been a little bit of character development mainly because they're older and are pretty well established. I don't think I've ever planned a ship. Which G'Kar still hates me for, lol.

I don't really find I need to. I'm picky as hell when it comes down to it, and it isn't that often that one grabs me enough to decide to actually app them. Two on island characters at a time, usually about enough for me!

4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? I... don't know. Probably Shawn? He was my first booooy character, and I've never been quite as confident with him. Nothing too awful, though.

Nope! I'm very much of the 'go with the flow' mindset. I may have a vague idea, somewhere in the back of my mind, but it's generally very flexible. Plans were made to be edited!

Organic! I don't think I've planned a ship in my life. If two characters are going to click, they're going to click, and forcing it for the sake of a plan just feels awkward. Of all mine lately, the biggest example of that (and one I've used before) is Angela and Hannibal, because the amount of OOC organisation that went in there was as close to nil as it gets, and look how well that's worked out so far!

6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Summer/Shawn... they were together over a year and a half. And wow I hadn't realised they were together that long. Mac/Cally comes a close second at somewhere around the year mark, I thiiiink.

1. What characters do you play/have you played? Alanna and Marco are current. I used to play Cimorene, Anathema, Briar, Broots, and Faithful (who still makes random appearances every oh so often)

2. How long have you been playing at FH? RPing in general? Since the start. I started RPing oh...7 years ago. I was 14. ... Yeah. Thirteen? Sophomore year of high school.

2a. If you've been at FH since the beginning, do you repress things? Yes. A lot of them. I also regret bringing in Alanna as a girl.

3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? Yes. I am a full time student, full/part time library wrench, and on three different committees. I also have a social life and GMAT's to worry about. I most certainly put a limit on characters. That limit is 3, though I don't think I've been even close for a while now.

4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? Um...Hm...I'd have to say Anathema because she never, ever changed. It's pretty much the point of her character to not change. Marco was hard when I was trying to force a plot line on him that was not working.

5. Do you plan things like ships and character development? Not really. I'm pretty big on just letting things happen and then nudging them when it's needed. Character development probably gets more planned than ships. Actually, I'd say character development gets planned a lot.

6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Um...I'd say Alanna/Charlie for anything and Turtle/Marco for friendship.

7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon? YES. There are some canons that have holes you can loose a truck in. Dear lord they need it. I ... close up holes in canon? I don't think I've ever gone against anything my canon said - just filled in the blanks. I may or may not change Marco's canon. I have yet to decide.

8. Most surprising thing to sneak up on you character wise during your time playing at FH? Alanna/Charlie. Seriously. Actually, anything to do with Alanna at all.

9. How do you deal with a many threads happening at once with multiple characters? Do you organize your Firefox tabs? Set up multiple browsers? Something else? Um...I kind of fail at that. I just have a lot of tabs open and cycle through them. I log in and out and refresh a lot in between doing other stuff in other tabs.

Excel spreadsheets are my life, as well as GDocs - especially for when I used to do radio with a co-host. ETA: Oh, and I had a calendar for 2007 and 2008 tracking Alanna's adventures and when what post was supposed to go up. Now a days, it's just a file with years in it.

I find that it's easier for me, in a game as fast paced as this one, to play one active character at one time. That's why Summer is leaving this week before I bring in my new girl.
4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? Hmmm. Weevil was a little challenging because I am just not good at playing male characters. Kaylee was hard, too, because I am not nearly as cheerful as she is. ;)

5a. Ships that are planned versus ships that are organic? Differences? Most of the relationships I have played out have been organic. I think I like it that way because of the spontaneity involved.
6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Piper and Phoebe's sisterly relationship is obviously the longest as they did grow up in the same house. Longest friendship is definitely Piper and Veronica. And longest relationship is Piper and Lindsey (almost four years, omg).
7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon? Oh hell yes. We fixed a lot of Charmed canon in this game. Also, I fixed some of The OC canon, like liking killing off a certain character sooner.

I like making headers too, but I never seemed to be able to keep headers on Piper's journal. I'm never happy with them. I . . . try to limit myself on characters. Last summer I told myself I was going to stick to two students and a townie, and then trickster_twin pestered talked me into apping Tahiri. I'm currently telling myself this is my limit.

Tough question. Archie Kennedy was very difficult for several reasons. So was Anne Shirley. Currently I'd say Katchoo is tough because the way she handles her emotional mess is very draining.

I really don't plan ships. They just happen! As far as character development, there are general goals I set, and how they happen to come about, or evolve, depends on what happens in game. I don't plan that part out strenuously.

None of mine have really been planned -- the only time I ever tried, the plan was for Anders to hook up with Wyatt. And he ended up with Bel and Phoebe instead. So I haven't really tried, since. ;)

I use Google Chrome exclusively for this account. Depending on where I am, I'll use more browsers; Katchoo is the predominantly logged in account on Firefox, and Jen and Lacey switch out on Flock with LJlogin, though if I'm on my netbook or some such I may just swap out on all of them on Firefox, as I do at work.

TabRenamizer is a GODSEND for when you have multiple threads going and a bunch of tabs.

I have the official GCal app on my Google Desktop sidebar, and I've got the public FH plot calendar synced up with it, so I see what's going on! I also have all my scheduled work posts and such in GCal, and use Google Sync to keep that current with Outlook, so all of that syncs to my phone.

Somewhat, but I don't even presume to challenge the OCD gurus around here.

Not really. I'm kind of lazy. ;) All my character journals use the Smooth Sailing layout, because I like having as much text as possible on a page and I find the sidebar with the post subjects really, really useful. And I tweak it so there's 25 posts on a page.

Sometimes I make my own, but again, lazy. It really depends on how easy or hard it is to find icons for a particular character. I'm going to have to make a lot for Gabrielle, because Xena fandom is kind of fail at decent icons. A very large chunk of Tahiri's icons are thanks to trickster_twin, who sometimes sends me icon resource posts, and momslilassassin made me a bunch too. As for Katchoo, thatsamilkshake's way of enabling me to app her was to make, like 150 icons, so that's where all those came from! On that account I'm now pretty much stuck waiting for my loyalty userpic count to go up, because I'm out of room. ;)

2a. If you've been at FH since the beginning, do you repress things? God yes. I refuse to read anything I wrote in the game until about November 2005.


3. Do you limit yourself on characters? Why or why not? Yes. I don't really have the best availability and I'm too distracted in general, so I absolutely keep myself to 4 characters max, and no more than two students at a time. I tried three students at once before with Peter, Jim, and Doom, and I failed HARD.

4. Who is the toughest character you've played here? Did they cause you bleed? In their own ways, Drax (finding his voice), Doom (being that much of an ass), and Zayne (finding the right balance between dorkiness, idealism, incompetence, and the underlying badass... I haven't quite gotten it) have all been really tough for me. Drax was the only one I gave up on, though. Doom became second nature over time (especially as he went from dick to supervillain) and I'm finding Zayne's voice better over time.

5. Do you plan things like ships and character development? To some degree. With character development, I usually keep an idea of what I'd like to do with them, and if necessary, things I NEED to do with them. Otherwise I just run with whatever happens. The only ship I really planned ahead of time was Jim/Pam. Everything else I'll let get to a certain point, then I'll check with the other person if they want to run with it. I think Zero/Peter ended up being planned out a few weeks before they actually got together, but they were already clearly into each other. If Dick had stuck around, I had a plan where he wouldn't let any relationship last six months, since that's appropriate for that version of the character. But that's it.

5a. Ships that are planned versus ships that are organic? Differences? No huge difference overall. It depends on what you're looking to do with the character. But once the ship starts, it's all the same.

6. Longest ship (relation or friend) you've ever played? Peter/Zero, by far. They've been an official couple for over three years.

7. Do you believe in fixing canon Y/N? Ever fixed a canon? I've never done that. I try to stick to canon as closely as possible. However, one of the things I've played with in Peter's canon is the idea of "Peter's not here, but this stuff happened anyway. What would it be like now?"

Last semester I started putting a list of everyone in Zayne's classes in a private post. It worked pretty well to remind me of who he'd know from class before talking to the outside of class. I'm going to keep doing that. I'll keep class titles and portions of post laying around in Apple's Stickies program. It's a relatively clutterless program that autosaves. I love it.

12. Do you consider yourself OCD? I created a way to play RISK and Monopoly in game and run 3MD twice a year. I rein it in most of the time, but yes, absolutely I am.

13. Do you like playing with layouts and userinfo graphics for your characters? Not layouts. All of my journals are Smooth Sailing (aside from Jonah). I do like making banners, though. I tried a userinfo graphic for Zayne, but I'm not really happy with it. I don't know if I'll keep doing that at all.

I don't need nor want anything fancy, I just need things that fit specific needs. I have a good screen grab program. I know my way around Photoshop. So I just do it all myself. Jim was my one exception, just because of the sheer number of Office icons out there.
