meme: do you know my canon?

If you're like me, you're having a lazy weekend. Thus, this seemed like a fun thing to add to the day and we haven't done this since June of last year. And this meme's an easy one!

Ping in with your canon (as specifically as you'd like for giant insane comic, SW and Power Ranger stuff). Then wait for other people to ping in with their canons! If you're familiar with it, tell them! And then, yay, new people to squee with!

I bet almost every single one of you would be lying if you said you hadn't picked up a new canon while playing here. I know I'd be lying. So, time to share and squee!

The Vampire Diaries

Which you should be watching because, I swear to god, it's the best show on the CW right now.

The power of slash compels you

Ooooh good! Once you get through the first 4 or 5 episodes, this shit becomes amazing.

I haven't read the books yet, but I did wiki the hell out of them.

My original copies of the books were lost in a flooded storage unit long ago, but I bought new copies that I'll get around to re-reading someday. I know the TV show doesn't follow them but I adore it so. Mmmmmm, Damon.

Yeah, I heard the books are way different from the show, which is why I wasn't in a big hurry to read them. But then again, Gossip Girl books aren't much like the show and they gave me a monkey and Dan's bisexuality so I probably should TVD a shot.

Read the books as a tween, loved the hell out of them, and therefore...prefer to pretend the show doesn't exist. Sorry, dude.

it's the best show on the CW right now.

Blasphemy!

I want to sit down and watch the season now that it's over. I've seen just bits and pieces (mostly while waiting for the best show on the CW to start... *koff*) but it did look better than the pilot ep a lot of the time. And well, Damon is hot.

lol I get more enjoyment out of Supernatural because I know the characters better but in terms of plot development and everything flowing together, Vampire Diaries blew everything else away this season. I cannot believe a show with such an awful pilot was capable of decent writing.

I think the creators just made the Twilight-like pilot to get the show on the air and then just did whatever they wanted once Dawn Ostroff wasn't looking.
