Anonymous Love Meme

We haven't done this since July and it is the holiday season so what better time than now to spread some love? I know I could use some on this gray, dreary day.

1. Make a comment to this post with the name of your character. (If you play more than one character, you can make a comment for each of them.)

2. Go through and leave anonymous comments in other characters' threads saying nice things about them. (About the character or how they're played, or even something you like about the player; any of this is acceptable as long as they're nice things.)

3. Read the comments your characters get and feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Please don't say anything negative to anyone in this post. Meanface comments will be deleted. This is about making people feel good. Don't forget to keep checking in on the post throughout the day to give love to the to the new people that pinged in! Remember, if you ping in, please try and go around the meme and leave some love too.

Anonymous commenting is on (I think omg) but if you have any questions feel free to email me at fh.inbasket@gmail.com.

ETA: Just an FYI, if you're running the Greasemonkey DisConnect script that hides the Twitter/FB links, it might cause you to get a repeated error (ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO POST ANON OR NOT?). Disabling it seems to do the trick for right now.

Rosalind's always fun to ping off because, despite her dry nature, she gives a lot and she always makes for interesting interactions with my boy. Totally one of my favorite people to ping off of.

Percy could so easily be a Sue considering his powers and dumb luck, but you do a good job at keeping him flawed. He's a huge brat and he's always gonna be a huge brat, he just so happens to be a hero too.

Genesis is such an arrogant jerk, but in all the right ways. I enjoy seeing his holier-than-thou attitudes at rehearsals, and for all that he aims to have his fun at the expense of others, you do a good job tempering his attitude in narrative so that it's never really personal.

Hannibal is just so, so awesome. Even being evil can't change that, even if it does make me wibble.

Love him, now and forever.

Nico manages to be both adorably innocent and menacingly dark. That's pretty impressive and awesomely true to canon.

Re: Luke Castellan

(Anonymous) 2010-11-30 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I know the canon and I know Luke's journey is an important one but I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THIS LUKE. He's just so awesomely sly and mischievous and hot and playful and sad and bitter. You can see the signs that he's gonna do some bad bad things but right now, he's just a teenager trying to make it through.

Oh Luke. I'm both dreading and looking forward to his canonical journey.

Raven is always a treat to thread with! Her and her issues and her lack of contractions!

And I always love the narrative, twelve though it might be. You have an excellent sense of humour that comes out wonderfully in your writing.

I think I'll be legit sad when Ino leaves. She's been such a mainstay for so long that it's going to be so weird to have her graduating. Loved watching her growth and change over time. I'll miss her but look forward to reading her more in alumni happenings!

Clark and Cara's relationship is one of my favorite things to read so I want more of that. I just love Clark though. You manage to keep the innocent sensibilities of his farmboy self but mingle them nicely with his superhero future.

Re: Alex Karev

I want to hug him and smack him in about equal measure. Which is pretty much how I feel watching his canon, so... I think that calls out to how well you have his character down.

Re: Andrew Wiggin

(Anonymous) 2010-11-30 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I love Ender. Always have. I cannot imagine anyone playing him half as well as you do. You're passionate about the canon, even though most of it by this point is just so ridiculous and batshit insane, and I miss playing with him as much as I have in the past. But when I do get a chance to have my characters cross his path, it's always a treat and reminds me of how much I adore Ender and your characterization of him. He's flawless.
