State of Thy Characters!

It's been since April (oops, my bad!) since we've done this and we've had a lot of things happen since then so I think it's about time for another round of state of the characters!

Everyone loves gabbing about their characters, don't even lie, so this is your chance. Talk as much or as little as you'd like! Talk about whatever you'd like! Upcoming plots, relationships (both romantic and friendship), enemies, plans for the future, anything!

Character name: Dolores Umbridge
Character's current mood: PISSED OFF
Character's current goings on: Sometimes, it's hard for me to play her because she's so intensive and tiring. But, she's having fun hexing students and pissing off teachers. I'm enjoying her games of give and take with Anakin and Wade, particularly. I'd love to see her thread more with Roy. She'll be leaving soon but not before a big explosive ending.

Character's current goings on: His girlfriend just died, so. He's currently drinking his weight in scotch and being looked after by Karla. He was woefully deluded that Katniss would be coming back in a few days, so it hurts even more because of being lied to. He just hurts.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): There will be the Big Reunion at the end of the summer. And meanwhile, he has to learn to cope like a human being. Somewhat.
Needs threads with: Warren, Karla, Alex the teacher, Anakin, Luke, Ghanima... just about everyone who was in the Games viewing party. And obviously Katniss, when she gets back.

Character's current mood: Enlightened
Character's current goings on: He's fascinated by this whole Japan thing, but other than that he's his usual obnoxious self. Sorry, Ramona. And everyone else who's met him.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): He's gonna have to be the victim of something islandy. AU Weekend should mess with his head a little.
Needs threads with: Anyone who can stand him! He's still pretty new, so he still needs to get to know people.

Character name: Luke Castellan
Character's current mood: Is that...happiness he feels? Yes, yes it is.
Character's current goings on: Getting over Katniss's death, but he's handling it pretty well considering he's all for the heroic meaningful death thing and he had a few months to prepare for it. Other than that he's ridiculously happy with Percy, and is almost okay with there being a hold on this whole Kronos thing 'cause he's enjoying himself at the moment.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): In about 3 weeks he's gonna go on his first huge canon catch up and then life will just be full of suck for the next few months.
Needs threads with: Oh anybody and everybody. He's not gonna be the same when he gets back from his catch up, so I want to get happier and more laid back Luke time in while I still can.

Character's current mood: Content
Character's current goings on: He's making friends, awww! And figuring out that hey, there's other people around with this whole telepathy thing, he doesn't have to keep it such a secret.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nothing big. He will have to let someone back home know where he is at some point, but that's about it.
Needs threads with: Stan, Sam, Sookie, people whose names don't start with S like Karla and Claudia and Butters and Jim and OH I DON'T KNOW, HOW ABOUT EVERYONE?

Character name: Nobody Owens
Character's current mood: Stoic
Character's current goings on: Like many others, he watched Katniss die too so he'll be dealing with that for a bit. Acceptance of death comes a lot easier for him because of his upbringing but he'll still be a little sad about it all. Other than that, he's had a ridiculously good time of it lately. He's stupid in love with Kate (again) and enjoying his classes. He's working at both Luke's and the library which keeps him busy and really, he's just hanging out and enjoying school.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Not a lot right now. I'm not sure if I'm going to do AU weekend for him (though I want to) but I know there are some plots with other people coming up that'll affect him and I might try and think up something of my own.
Needs threads with: Kate, Toby, Puck, Jacob, Caroline, Jeremy and really, he's the friendliest of all my boys so he'll talk to anyone that talks back.

Character name: Firekeeper/Blysse Norwood
Character's current mood: melancholy
Character's current goings on: Well, her roommate's dead. Or so she thinks. She was expecting it, but it still stings. As such, she and Blind Seer will be getting a jump on the whole 'camping' thing and avoiding their room for the next while.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nooooothing. I keep saying I'mma do that last book and I haven't been able to figure out how to work it. Eventually?

Character's current mood: Oddly relaxed.
Character's current goings on: Getting along with meeting people, mostly, and occasionally waving her sword at them without even asking their names. Such a charmer.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Not much, for the moment!
Needs threads with: Everyone, but especially anyone she can be a brat at. Also vampires, because I love to torture her. Or anyone supernatural actually, just cause. Actually, I think I covered all that with EVERYONE.

Character's current goings on: Not a lot. I've been getting my new kid established which meant Will (and Bobby) haven't gotten out too much but I'm gonna fix that.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): There maaaaaaaaaaaaay be some awesomeness planned wrt a certain tie-in webseries that's slated to begin this week.

Character name: Kate Gregson
Character's current mood: Okayish.
Character's current goings on: Kate was shaken pretty badly by Nathan's death, but now that he's back things are getting back to normal. She's a bit worried for Bod because of Katniss dying, but other than that things are pretty mellow for her right now. ...Which obviously means she's off to do some plot tomorrow, and afterwards will terrorize people during AU weekend, so yeah. So much for mellow.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Not much beyond the vampirific AU weekend. (A most likely heavily altered) S3 looms in the distant future.
Needs threads with: Bod, Mitchell, Jack, Emma, Puck, Bobby the roomie (they suck at catching each other lately), Eric, Caroline, Nathan, Peter (I'm just waiting for them to declare themselves empress and emperor of the third floor), Luke, Bo (whoo Midwest chicks!), Alice, everyone.

Character's current goings on: Not much. I've been sucking at getting him out there as of late, because school ate my brain and left me only with teh ability to default to Kate. Expect more of him over the summer!
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I'm watching canon for his AU weekend self right this moment; other than that, I'm just winging everything with him.

Character's current mood: OK
Character's current goings on: She's still getting a feel for Fandom but likes it so far because no one's been mean to her like in her old schools. But she's still thrown by tiny Emma.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nothing major yet, just making friends and fitting in.

Character's current goings on: not much!

Character's current goings on: Adjusting to having the wrong Nathan here, and to being in the past, and (not that he's noticed yet) time going slower back home than on Fandom. Adjusting to being this far from home, too. And missing his friends. He's not used to having friends to miss.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): AU weekend. Really, that's it.
Needs threads with: Ramona, Nathan, Sookie, girl!Sam, anyone and everyone who'll be nice to the weird kid. Or not nice, that works too! Oh, and more superhero types.

Character name: Nathan Young
Character's current mood: Smug as smug can be
Character's current goings on: Nathan's fucking immortal now and he's loving having that ability. It's not so much that he's worried about being killed but he thinks he's got the top o' the list talent out of all the ASBO Shitheads back home. You'd think he'd have to adjust to being immortal but nope, he hasn't changed at all. He's still a jerk and he might even be more of a jerk than he used to be because he's immortal now.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Series two canon's off in the future (because the first one was exhausting) so I'll just be messing with his immortality. Canonically, the boy dies a lot (and sometimes as a result of him being a dick) so I'm gonna see about transferring that over to his life on and off the island.

He's also got...a thing for Ramona which he's not dealing with because, well, that's his way. Their way, even. So, that's fun to play with because yeah, emotionally stunted people, party of two. They're both idiots when it comes to feelings.
Needs threads with: Ramona, Caroline, Simon, Kate, Puck, Topher, Stan and anyone that can deal with his attitude whether you wanna be insulted and retaliate (please punch him in the face) or you wanna go toe to toe with him.

I'm up for having Mercy have a run in with him if you're up for letting her later quietly get revenge on him somehow. *evil grin*

Character name: Percy Jackson
Character's current mood: Pretty good
Character's current goings on: Percy's not doing too much but that's mostly on me trying to keep everything from happening for him until after Luke gets started on his canon catchups because their eventual breakup will be messy and full of yelling and Percy trying to stab Luke in the face. So, for now, he's just chilling and training and dating Luke and playing with Mrs. O'Leary.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I'm re-reading the The Last Olympian right now which means I can start at least getting things written at some point in the future. Other than that, it's gonna be breaking up with Luke and feeling awful that he didn't change and trying to run him through with swords. It's safe to say that Percy will have some aggressive tendencies that will reveal themselves when all this goes down. It's all Luke's fault.
Needs threads with: Luke, Nico, Kate, Faramir, Jack and Bobby McCallister, Kate, Jason, any people that hang out in the salle, anyone that hangs out in the stables, anyone that likes Greek stuff and anyone that can put up with his brattiness.

Um it is clearly Percy's fault for not taking some sort of Fate 101 class with Apollo.

Character's current mood: Pretty crap with a side of awful. This has not been Karla's favorite year.
Character's current goings on: Well, after watching Katniss die, Karla's going to run away to London for a few days in hopes of a distraction. Which she'll get, if not exactly in the way she'd hoped. After that, it's AU weekend, which will be filled with puppies and flowers and hugs, trufax.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Karla's actually going to be spending a good chunk of the summer off the island as I do some plotty stuff in Glacia. Folks will be able to pop by and visit, so long as they're not averse to hard work. Creating a village for refugees in the middle of the wilderness isn't exactly easy. Before that, though, there will hopefully be enough time to stage another boxer raid because it's been two years and that's just saaaaad.
Needs threads with: the usual suspects, especially seniors who'll be leaving the island soon, Bobby, Peter Wiggin (because they're such friends! And it gives Ender fits), Surreal, Wesley, anyone who watched the Games, and the new kids because she barely knows any of them and that's just wrong.

Character name: Katniss Everdeen

Character's current mood: Unconscious

Character's current goings on: Well. Everyone thinks she's dead, so there's that. She'll wake up tomorrow on the hovercraft that yanked her out of the arena that she blew up. And she just survived her second Hunger Games, so she's not doing well, you know, emotionally or mentally. Or physically, for that matter, since she got burned and stabbed and concussed and electrocuted and all.

Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Well, tomorrow I'm finishing Catching Fire, then she'll have a great big passage of time and in two weeks or so, she'll start show up on TV again as the mockingjay. :D

I shouldn't have a happy face there, because Mockingjay is the meanest and saddest book ever written ever.

Needs threads with: EVERYONE WHO THINKS SHE'S DEAD. SORRY.

Character name: Ender Wiggin
Character's current mood: Troubled and grieving, but keeping calm.
Character's current goings on: Back home, Alai's missing and possibly dead thanks to his slightly-insane megalomaniacal wife, and Bean's definitely deceased, neither of which he's exactly very happy about. Being Ender he's mostly not addressing it, and the only person he's allowed to find out about it is Ben. Otherwise, he worries and theorises about the Jedi Order, is possibly starting to follow in his siblings' footsteps by sending emails under pseudonyms to people in Ben's universe, is monitoring everything as closely as he can, is trying to make sure Ben stays okay-ish and heals, and, well, exercises that tremendous self-control Petra's always accusing him of in narrative.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): More shenanigans in the GFFA for the forseeable future. Mmm, exile and Skywalkers.
Needs threads with: Anyone who knows him and who's got his email address or his phone number! I love threads.

Character name: Raven
Character's current mood: Okayish
Character's current goings on: The summer's been on the more unpleasant side so far, but she's hoping that will change. Swedish fish helped.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): AU weekend will be filled with fluffiness and kittens and sunshine and...you're not buying this, are you? Also sending her on a quick trip to her own world to learn some info, and possibly arranging to get her dressed like Leeloo but have other people there to see it so they can stare and laugh.

Character name: Peter Wiggin
Character's current mood: Flinging himself back and forth between I AM IN THE PIT OF DESPAIR and SMUG AND UNAFFECTED BY IT ALL, which means that his mood defaults down to 'Peter'.
Character's current goings on: Not much, since I won't stop being insanely busy until after next week, but mostly he's settling in, figuring out how to write his Locke essays while he and Valentine are dimensions apart, and being very very determined to not just take Fandom in stride, but to actively find a way to use it as soon as possible.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I have nothing in particular planned - but when my time frees up, he's going to be out a bit more, plotting and poking at people and whining rather a lot in his head about stuff.
Needs threads with: Topher, for maximum evil plottage, Karla, for ~~belligerent sexual tension~~ giving Ender coronaries, Tony for coaxing to the dark side, his roomie, Kate, Ariel, Butters because torturing people makes Peter happy, Annie 'cause he's still pretty sure there's some influence to gain there, and... eeeveryone I haven't been able to play with due to availability. (Part of me wants to make him watch Peter Pan or something so he can be an undercover ass to Hook because I like the poetry...)

Character's current goings on: Really, it's hard to relax and enjoy the summer when your world is at war.

Character's current mood: Sated. :D Also, kind of dangerously pleased with Fandom and the world it's opened up to her, which means there's clearly a steel-toed second shoe about to fall.
Character's current goings on: Bartending. Meeting interesting people and having sex with some of them! Saying "Wait, seriously?" a lot.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): She'll be staying herself for AU Weekend, but shenanigans shall ensue with people who aren't. (In fact, if you've got an AU character you'd like to eventually have corralled for the safety of self and others, hit me up!)

Character's current mood: Cheerful!
Character's current goings on: She's still getting acclimated to Fandom, and adjusting really pretty well, since she's not the weird girl anymore at school. She is amazed no one's been mean to her. Still, some things take some getting used to.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): No plans, though I'm starting to think the drug addiction thing should come out in the most embarrassing way possible somehow.

Character's current mood: Sad.
Character's current goings on: She got to watch Katniss die, and the whole weekend brought up a few old issues she's never really dealt with. So now she's genuinely trying to handle it all like a big girl, and hopefully it'll make more sense than when Karen Traviss made her cry all the time. Otherwise she's getting used to real life again, going on missions with Zekk and preparing for all the stuff she knows is coming, but with a better attitude than she used to.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): She'll be in for the weekend, and staying herself. She's also only a couple months away from her last time-speedup, which I am super nervous about because then there's no turning back from LOTF. Dun dun dun...
