We haven't done a SotC since early March, and with graduation over and newbie day fast approaching, it seems like a good day for it. Also I'll be stuck on this computer all day and could use the entertainment. So, instructions, as taken from

Everyone loves gabbing about their characters, don't even lie, so this is your chance. Talk as much or as little as you'd like! Talk about whatever you'd like! Upcoming plots, relationships (both romantic and friendship), enemies, plans for the future, anything!

Character's current goings on: Sometimes, it's hard for me to play her because she's so intensive and tiring. But, she's having fun hexing students and pissing off teachers. I'm enjoying her games of give and take with Anakin and Wade, particularly. I'd love to see her thread more with Roy. She'll be leaving soon but not before a big explosive ending.

Character's current goings on: Packing.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): She'll be headed home on Friday (I am keeping her till the last possible second, thank you) and then I get to set her up to rejoin canon in the fall. Which I have a plan for. A possibly too-ambitious plan for.
Needs threads with: Everyone she needs to say goodbye to and anyone who just wants to play with her her last week here.

Character name: Chloe Saunders
Character's current mood: Stressed
Character's current goings on: She's leaving Fandom and becoming an ex-Pat.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I'm about to put Chloe through the final book of her canon and thus she needs to be away from the island because she's not going to want hell to descend on Fandom in an effort to retrieve her.
Needs threads with: She's just going to leave and not tell anyone, but later in the summer there will be a call for help as she will be in serious trouble.

Character name: Simon Bellamy
Character's current mood: Okay, if a bit melancholy. But when is he not?
Character's current goings on: Not a whole lot. Training, training, training. Planning his imminent departure though he hasn't really set a date for it yet. It's gonna happen after the first summer term, though – it's a challenge to play him right and even though it's rewarding, it takes a little too much energy sometimes, so it's time to let him go. Just not yet.
Coming up: I miiight put him through the Christmas special over some weekend during the first summer term, just to play a little with the changes that brings, and to have more direct motivation for him to leave. Other than that, I'll just be trying to do some more stuff with him and get him out there before he goes away.
Needs threads with: Kenzi, Mercy, Wesley, all you other nice quiet types.

Character name: Cassidy
Character's current mood: A little depressed
Character's current goings on: So many people close to her have graduated and are leaving. She's trying to deal with that and still keep her cheerful disposition up for everyone else.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): She wants to take a trip to the forbidden (to her) realm of Terrielle to visit the Shalador Reserves.
Needs threads with: Ender, Elle, Raven, Alice, Karla, Surreal, Raven, Mercy, Loki everyone, really. She's my most cheerful and friendly character.

Character's current goings on: She's loved being a teacher, but is taking the summer off from teaching to spend with her husband and her friends.

Character name: Luke Castellan
Character's current mood: Okay? Maybe? He's not sure, it's been so long since things didn't completely suck.
Character's current goings on: Well he's pretty much back with his boyfriend again, which is nice. Now he's got his senior year ahead of him and he'll have to make a decision about what he wants to do with his life now that hero has been scratched off the list.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nothing until, like, Parents Weekend.
Needs threads with: Oh, everyone. I'm not picky, he should make some new friends now that he's done with canon and won't ruin their lives with his own emo.

Character name: Jeremy Darling
Character's current mood: Just a little Jeremy-style woe.
Character's current goings on: His girlfriend's leeeeeaving. Not that he ever really called her that, but still. It's kind of a sad thing, even if he won't mope about it for too long, because he's a Darling twin and has the attention span of a gnat. Other than that, he's... playing a lot of video games and lazing about. The usual.
Coming up: Not much specifics planned, but Jeremy will be turning his charm back on high (like it was ever really off) with regards to the ladies after George has been gone for a while. Other than that, and this is way out in the future (October, even), the twins' need to have an epic 18th birthday party. Preferably on the causeway. With a masquerade theme. Or something.
Needs threads with: George! ALL THE GIRLS EVER. Juliet. Stacey, because that has the possibility of being cute for all of the five minutes it lasts. Alll the other rich kids.

Character's current mood: Determined
Character's current goings on: Just trying to wrap things up in Fandom before he moves on.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Having just graduated, Bruce is set to leave Fandom on Wednesday, get in one last training trip, and then return to Gotham in time for the 10 year anniversary of his parents' deaths.
Needs threads with: Everyone he needs to say goodbye to and anyone who wants to say goodbye to him.

Character name: Jaina Solo
Character's current mood: Oh Jesus Christ.
Character's current goings on: She's moving on to book three of the worst canon catchup ever (which is thoroughly stressing me out), so she's getting past the little phase where she's depressed over it and moving into scary psycho focus phase. Basically it's just not easy when you have to have thoughts about how you're going to need to kill your twin in your head.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nothing but bad things. Though the timing of newbies showing up in relation to where my canon catchup is going to be then makes me laugh.
Needs threads with: Well, she's not going to be on island again at all till like second session, so basically whoever wants to call her when I put up an open post.

Character name: Jace Wayland
Character's current mood: Bitchy, as per usual.
Character's current goings on: Nothing much. He's loosening up a bit because people aren't as intimidated by his bullshit as they were back home, but he's not gonna be cuddly and personable any time soon.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Oh man I haven't even began how to think I'd work in his canon. So, no, nothing on the horizon.
Needs threads with: Natalie, Stacey, everyone, etc. He should also make some new...friends doesn't seem like the right word here.

We definitely need to get these two together, if for nothing else than that he can roll his eyes at Nat's choice to room with her boooyfriend.

Character's current goings on: He's gettin' ready to come to Fandom.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Well in the immediate future there's a post with his family where I make myself lol with PBs. Then in there's three books of "omfg how am I gonna pull this off" next summer and the summer after that. You should see this chart I made.

Character's current mood: Hating the universe.
Character's current goings on: Richard and Kahlan sprang the fact she's staying for the summer on her ~~because she's miiiiiine and I'm neeeever letting her leave~~, so she's feeling kind of grumpy and bratty atm.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nothing in particular, but at least she's not going to be a depressive wreck this summer, so that much'll be fun.

Character's current goings on: He is quite excited about the idea of spending the summer with people who aren't being paid by his dad to provide legal guardianship.

Character's current mood: Strangely hopeful
Character's current goings on: He's gone public as Locke and now there's a Belgian psychopath who may or may not be plotting to kill him. So he's off-island for the summer, hauling ass to Haiti to act as consultant to its prime minister.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): A summer of plotting and coordinating and helping govern an island nation.
Needs threads with: Once he's settled - anyone who he's willing to give his address.

Character's current mood: Worried and hiding it.
Character's current goings on: Just a few more months until he can get on a giant spaceship and leave Fandom, and frankly, he can't wait. But in the mean time, things are really ramping up in Ben's universe so he's got a lot of little pawns to move, and his last arrangements prior to departure need to be made... and discussions with Val about whether or not she's willing to spend the summer with him.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): The finale of the Fate of the Jedi plot is going to happen this summer; that's a big one. Otherwise, he's going to be teaching class this summer.
Needs threads with: All of the friends and acquaintances he's made on Fandom that he's going to be leaving behind at the end of the summer!

Character name: Tara Maclay
Character's current mood: Contemplative, with an undertone of shocked.
Character's current goings on: She graduated. That was kind of big :-).

Then TAing and running the Magic box for the summer, and heading off to Sunnydale with Warren to start on canon in September. (I have no idea how I'm going to play through canon. Luckily, Tara's a minor enough character her first bunch of episodes that I can wing it.)

Character's current goings on: Not much. I've kind of been focused on plot so a lot of characters are a little quiet.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nothing specific, though she does need to spend two weeks as a mother's helper in New Jersey. Yes, I'm doing that.
Needs threads with: Everyone! And seriously, I saw the new journals crop up in the new character announcement and went "Stacey's going to get out a lot more..."

Character's current mood: Okay.
Character's current goings on: Again, not much. It's her first summer without her parents so she's definitely sticking around on island, and she's nice and ready to roll her eyes at newbies.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): She has a plot on the horizon, but otherwise...

Character name: Natalie Adams
Character's current mood: Actually happy?
Character's current goings on: There was a pretty big bump in Nat and Sam's relationship recently, which still resonated over this past weekend since his ex came to visit, but other than that, things are pretty good. They're moving in together on Tuesday, which will be new and weird, but has been in the works for a while now. There are still some ghost issues to work with, but they seem pretty confident in their decision.
Coming up: The move! Other than that, I have absolutely nothing planned.
Needs threads with: Sam, Jace, Tara, Joan, Peter (even if he is in Haiti), Topher, anyone and everyone.

Character name: Kate Gregson
Character's current mood: Excited!
Character's current goings on: Bod is finally properly moving in with her in Kansas! That's the biggest thing right now. Other than that, she's just working and keeping up with friends elsewhere. Also, Christmas 2011 is finally coming up in her universe.
Coming up: Noot much. A Christmas or NYE celebration might be in order, but other than that... She's post-canon and I might want to figure some stuff out for where things will go from here, Tara-wise and everything, but for now I'm just winging it.
Needs threads with: The usual gang. And as agreed elsewhere, she needs a thread with Frank at some point.

Character name: Ben Skywalker
Character's current mood: flattened
Character's current goings on: Well, he told his dad that he wasn't coming back to Jedi it up after graduation (which was a huge relief to admit), then heard from Jaina that she'd hit his part of the timeline and there doesn't seem to be a lot to shift Jacen (and, more importantly to Ben's little brain, Ben) off of the path they'd followed his freshman year. So he's trying to prepare himself for the potential deaths of family members again, along with trying to reconcile the idea of the Tahiri in his world being a convicted murderer slated for execution.

I've been mean to Ben in the last few weeks.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): We'll finish up the Fate of the Jedi series before packing the boys off to Shakespeare for what will probably feel like a vacation to them. I can assure you that all of Ben's extremities stay attached!
Needs threads with: Everyone. I've been playing Ben for four years now and the idea of him becoming alumni makes me SO SO SAD.

Character's current goings on: She's recently orphaned, her parents were evil aliens, and now she's being sent across the country to a boarding school. Things have been gone better for her in the past.
Coming up: Unsurprisingly, nothing really. If I decide to keep her around after the summer, there'll be canon catch-uping, but yeah. Just gonna be winging it for now.

Character's current mood: He describes it as “scattered” in canon. I’m going with that.
Character's current goings on: Right, so Vic just got his poor little robot heart broken pretty much twice in a week. Outwardly, he’s okay. Inwardly? Not so much. Which is part of why he’s agreed to come to Fandom.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I need to work out a schedule for the rest of his canon, because I am planning to actually do canon updatey stuff for him. In part because he is so adorable with Henry Pym in his last appearance that I cannot stand it, so clearly I need to get there.
