BDE Reminder!
Our Happy Daze BDE kicks off tomorrow night in the fifth floor common room! As a reminder, if you're there while our science people are fixing the television, you'll wake up in black and white on Wednesday morning, behaving like a character in a 1950's sitcom.
We're still looking for a big hero to kill the television on Saturday. And speaking of television, we have a list of meta-ed '50s shows for your characters to recall as they wonder why on Earth Anakin is mowing someone else's lawn in a cardigan sweater and tie in December.
They're listed behind this convenient cut!
Pleasantville itself (established both in canon and at FH as a real show), I Adore Amelia (I Love Lucy), The Buffoons Numbered Neither One Nor Two And Four Is Right Out (The 3 Stooges)
Other potential '50s sitcom/family-show meta because: Give It To Gopher (Leave It To Beaver), Cyril the Peril (Dennis the Menace), Daddy's the Smartest (Father Knows Best), Just Married (the Honeymooners), Scoot Over For Father (Make Room For Daddy), Escapades of Orville and Hannah (Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet). Single Dad (Bachelor Father), The Aqua-Fresh Funny Show (Colgate Comedy Hour), September Spouse (December Bride).
Non-comedy that 50's sitcom families might have watched: Motherlode! (Bonanza), Possess Firearm Amenable To Relocation (Have Gun Will Travel), Leather (Rawhide), Coptrap (Dragnet), Speedy Johnson (Flash Gordon), The Dusky Place (The Twilight Zone).
You're not limited to these; you're welcome to coin meta for other 50's media, use fake ones from your canon, or make them up completely, if you like!

This tag is intended to be temporary, as I'm probably going to delete the tag after plot is over, but for right now it should help for when 50s-zapped people want to go channel surfing.
