meme: headcanon vs real canon!

There's newbies & we haven't done this since August, so to steal from justwantsquiet:

Even the most obsessive of canons (yes, Star Wars, I'm looking at you) leaves some gaps in information as you play a character. But canon also provides some truly random factoids. So today's meme:

Provide us five bits of things you totally made up headcanon for your character, as well as five things that are, sadly, canon but could sound like you made them up.

Feel free to go over five. I know I probably will.

Canon
1. The Jedi seem to really be so used to her running off and doing her own thing that they just shrug and go with it now. It's probably easier than trying to stop/punish her.
2. Has had her lightsaber since she was fourteen. She's never lost it, never broken it, it's always been the same one.
3. Tinkers with things when she's upset.
4. Has decent fashion sense.
5. Cannot flirt when she tries to. No, really, she is very bad at it.
6. Her parents have a hilarious habit of oversharing with her.

Headcanon
1. Having to resign from the military still upsets her, because that meant giving up the career she actually chose.
2. Trains for hours every day despite not having to do anything here. She takes the Sword of the Jedi title really seriously now.
3. It totally bothers her that she's not doing more with it, and that she's not ready to do more with it.
4. Not a big drinker, because she likes keeping her head clear. She's actually glad no one tries to get her go out and get drunk anymore.
5. Has a thing for trashy daytime TV. She doesn't actually watch them except to glance at it and feel better about her life, but she likes having it on for noise.
6. Likes teaching a class because it feels like training a squadron. Doesn't so much like on on one teaching because it doesn't feel anything like training a squadron.
7. Seeing how powerful Jacen got has made her realize she has the potential to be really awesome, but has extremely different goals.
