It's a holiday for some of us, and just a randomly sleepy day for others... So let's have a meme we last did in January of 2012! And this time you get a choice in how you do things, too!

For the people who like filling surveys, we have twenty-four prompts from your character's life. Pick a song for each (or for as many of them as you prefer) and comment back with it! It can be straight up song titles, YouTube links, or what have you. Do all of them, do only a couple, do a couple now and do the rest later - it's up to you. Either way, have a handy textbox:

I only have just the one song for Jackson right now: Hounds of Love. Which might be kind of a cliché for a modern day werewolf but SEE IF I CARE. It hits me as a song for Jackson just below the cocky surface, the part of im that has always been afraid of something or other, and just recently spent a long time with everything slipping out of his control.

But I still find it funny I haven't managed to stumble on a good song for how Jackson looks from the outside. Pretty sure there are more than enough songs about overly cocky pretty boys out there.

Do It With A Rockstar! It might be because the album came out around the same time as Magic Mike, but this has been my anthem for Mike since before I even apped him. It's also provides the header for his journal ("do you wanna dance, do you wanna fight? do you wanna get drunk and stay the night?") because great song for the guy who used to stay behind when people went back to their normal non-stripper nightlife lives.

There's also Breakdown, from the movie's soundtrack which I associate heavily with the less glitzy part of his life.

(And then there's the other obligatory soundtrack stuff like It's Raining Men and Pony.)

I do have some songs that I feel like fit the bill when it comes to Stiles.

A Real Hero The Stiles song, I feel.

Lil' Red Riding Hood Though that's a close second. Because really.

Wolf Like Me Version two lol that went on a truly horrible IC Sterek fanmix Stiles made for Derek for Christmas. There was Taylor Swift on it. Though tbh a line from that song is actually the byline on my Isaac journal. It fits with a lot of TW characters.

Pure Imagination Because of spark stuff. From what Jeff Davis explained, Stiles isn't magical but he can wield magical objects if he uses his imagination.

Lol if you didn't previously know which characters of mine are my faves, you may be able to figure it out from the next two bunches of song links.

Okay, so, Kate. The two main songs I have for her these days are Change and GIRL. Upbeat songs about doing whatever you want because you're awesome, dammit (even if that sometimes means doing dumb things). This is a step up from way back when her theme songs were more like Be OK and Runs in the Family, which she actually sang during one OMWF day, making me happy and her miserable. Mwahaha.

Then there are her relationships. Kate and Bod are some combo of Might Tell You Tonight, I'll Be Your Mirror, and Turbulent Weather (as well as My Beloved Monster, yes).

Kate and Luke are best encapsulated by Let's Dance to Joy Division, which has stuck with me from a mix trickydemigod gave me once. Meanwhile, Kate and Mitchell get Little Sister, and the fake sibling trio of Kate/Mitchell/Jack get Timshel, even if their lives are a bit more stable and less... death-y now than when I first designated that for them.

I would just like you to know that I left songs out of this one. I may have a Natalie song problem. (Plus I could list like half of Metric's back catalogue here. Imagine they're included.) Anyway, random Nat tunes:

As for songs for Natalie with other people: Nat and Sam used to be Night Terror, which is pretty damn perfect for them. But, lately they're Sex With The Ex (lol), and Lost at Home (especially once she starts hanging around Seattle without Sam some more).

Nat and Peter are something like a mix of Calculation Theme and Succexy. Both Metric songs Envy may eventually write. (For funsies, if they dated, I'm pretty sure De bonnes raisons would fit them. "I've plenty reasons to love you, but why should I share them with you?" Also it's in French because reasons.)

Meanwhile, Nat and Jim's recent antics relate to Just A Little Bit and Urgent. Hot. And finally, Nat and Jace were I'm Slowly Turning Into You, because, well. Envy. Who gets some of her own songs in my playlists already, namely:
- Hello Envy, which is her theme in the movie score.
- Look at Me, which is a Geri Halliwell song, yes. AND I HAVE LOVED IT FOR A THOUSAND YEARS. Also, it just fits.

I have a soundtrack for Hanna, and here a few highlights.

It Girl by Twirl (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZO9GAigcKI) - I always associate this song with Hanna. It was actually used in the pilot episode when she was shoplifting, and again in season three when she put an item back instead of stealing it. It highlighted how much she changed, and how, in some ways, she stayed the same. I appreciated that bit of song continuity.
