Meme: Answer for an Answer!

Because this is the one day a year I can be guaranteed to be able to post a meme, so I will, damnit!

It looks like we haven't done this sucker since January, so let's give it a whirl!

Tag your character in. Other characters will then comment asking them ~~embarrassingly personal~~ questions, but there's a catch. In exchange for your answer, they have to answer whatever ~~embarrassingly personal~~ question you ask them in return, and it all has to be truthful. Nothing counts IG, per usual.

Have you fully adjusted to e fact that you live in a place where people don't just wear capes whenever? Is it even possible to do so?

It was strange indeed at first! Also the lack of armor in everyday wear. But I have become quite fond of 'blue jeans' and 'flannel'!

What do you think of the me who exists in your realm?

He's probably the most determined hero I've ever seen. I mean, you don't see many people lose their entire race and their godhood and then STILL pick a fight with an enraged Hulk. He's the biggest gun we've got, even if he doesn't technically have powers anymore. Not someone I'd want to mess with at all.

I'm buried under flowers but could use a little distraction.

Do you think you've learned anything from me over the years that you didn't from your boss?

Yeah, actually. There really is a semi-squishy actual human being back there behind the cowl -- not that I'd actually say that to your face, of course but the point is that I get it now, it took a freakish -- uh, no offense -- amount of work for you to get where you are.

I don't know if that makes me feel more or less intimidated, though, honestly. But it makes me see him like slightly less of an unreasonably demanding boss. Slightly.

To Batarang it right back at you, did I influence how you're going to treat your Robins any?

No, but mostly because each sidekick has their own individual challenges. With Dick, I was mostly focused on getting him past his grief, then nurturing his love of crimefighting. With Tim, it's mostly been setting a good example and getting him to focus. You tend to know what you're doing, but need to be more self-assured. That hasn't been a problem for either of my Robins.

The fact that the entire answer so far is focused on how them as Robins probably gives any further answer you might need.

How did you settle on this particular form to appear in?

Most of it is just me without the blue. Same bone structure, same muscle mass, just with a smooth, white complexion (when I'm from, being anything but white is almost as bad as being blue). That's easiest to maintain in the long term. Hair and eyes I went with whatever Charles said looked pretty.

I might try out being brunette for a little while. See which hair color really has more fun.

There is power in Fandom, Doctor Lecter, and I currently have time to spare to gather it. Additionally, I have recently spent time at Richards' Future Foundation with his delightful daughter, Valeria, and her insipid classmates. While there, I learned that I can tolerate whelps, provided they do not distract from the ultimate glory of Doom!

Well, I don't know yet that I'm coming back, but.

Awkward and bitter, mostly. But at least I won't have to lay anyone out on my first day to keep from being bullied, so there's that.

How would you feel if I told you I'd been working for a psychopath who tried to depower the world?

First I'd ask if you were still working for him and if so, why?

But I think I'd share the story about how my world had a whole country try something like that. And pretty much right after that, the government was overthrown and became a self-professed safe haven for all mutants in the world.

Have you met anyone on the island whom you would consider eating yet?

I would consider nearly everyone. I'm very curious about how the non-humans would taste. I haven't yet felt the urge to free the world from anyone's incurable rudeness, though.

Dean Winchester - that is, Mister Winchester, not our esteemed Dean - has come perhaps the closest.

Is it difficult to maintain your own equanimity, feeling everybody else's emotions?

It is very difficult at times, especially when emotions around me are strong, but I have gotten much better at shielding myself from them. When I first arrived here, I was overwhelmed by the emotions of everyone on the island. I can never shut them all out, however, so there are times when I must pause to sort through them.

Do you not value human life at all, that you can take it so easily?

It depends upon the human. There are some I value very much; there are very many I have no thoughts for either way. There are others whose only value I find in their meat.

Do you find it easier or more difficult relating to others when you can feel as they do?
