Meme: Headcanon!
Yes. We had a meme yesterday. (Erin beat me to the posting) And yes we did a Fandom headcanon of sorts not too long ago. But on XKCD yesterday this happened:

So therefore? Headcanon Meme!
Even the most obsessive of canons (yes, Star Wars, I'm looking at you) leaves some gaps in information as you play a character. But canon also provides some truly random factoids. So today's meme:
Provide us five bits of things you totally made up headcanon for your character, as well as five things that are, sadly, canon but could sound like you made them up.
Bonus points if you go over five!
Technically this one was last done in January so we should have plenty of new characters to take part in this, right?
And yes, Barry probably does have a cannon that can fit under his hat.

1. Once caused a theater blackout in London when she was twelve, and Hector had decided to leave her in the dressing room rather than take her out with him and Celia actually threw a fit in response. She had to spend the rest of the night repairing all the gaslamps while her father distracted the theater manager.
2. Is a very heavy sleeper -- she's had to fall asleep backstage dozens of times as a kid, not to mention Hector coming in at all hours and making tons of noise. Girl can sleep through just about anything, provided she's actually tired.
3. The fairy godmother powers are real canon -- the fact that Celia gets dressed every day using them is headcanon, though it's pretty heavily implied. Hector doesn't let her use her hands for nigh unto anything. I can only imagine that with as many laces and ribbons as Victorian clothes tend to use, she's gotten good at tying bows and arranging her hair with her mind, too.
4. Has way more knowledge about sex, opium, alcohol -- the seedier underbelly of Victorian life -- than you'd expect out of a sixteen year-old girl from her time, because of her father's general bad behavior and the fact she was brought up in theaters. It's pretty hard to actually scandalize her, because she's heard about it all...except when it comes to her own personal life. Then she can flail herself into a coma because that's different, omg.
5. Celia stopped trying to make her father love her around age fourteen. That was when he broke her wrist with the paperweight, and that was when she finally realized that no matter how many times she called him, "Papa," she'd never had a father; she just has a magical handler, who happens to be related to her.
It's easier for her to think of it that way. Otherwise, she gets angry.
Real canon:
1. Had no memory of her mother until the AU BDE last spring, and even that's kind of fuzzy. Hector taunts her about this, because Celia will insist she remembers her, but Hector actually does.
2. Hector will eventually turn himself intangible and invisible to follow Celia around when she joins the circus. Because that's not creepy or invasive at all, right?
3. Absolutely hates having wet skirts, and will use her magic to repel water off herself if it's raining. She still usually carries an umbrella just for show, though.
4. Her favorite tent, once she joins the circus, is the Ice Forest, which is exactly what it sounds like. (It's part of why she's so fascinated by Elsa's powers, honestly -- sparkly-snowy-ice-stuff appeals to her like crazy.)
5. If she wasn't in Fandom right now, Celia would be a "spiritual medium," using her powers to capitalize on the occult craze of the late 19th century. Canonically she hates it. Canonically, Hector doesn't care, and makes her do it anyway.
(Yes, I'm editing a day later because I realized I got my dates wrong, shh.)
