I'm feeling a meme, in terms of wanting reading material at work today, and I actually realized we haven't done this since March and we have a ton of new characters since then! And I, personally, spend a lot of time going, "Does he actually have that facial hair that's in that icon?" or "Which color is her hair again?" so I figured that now, on Parents' Weekend Eve, would be a good time to bust out this meme!

Also, like I said, gonna be bored at work.

There are certain characteristics about the people we play that *we* know, but we get tired of repeating in every introductory ping. There's also stuff that players wouldn't really be able to figure out just looking at an icon--how tall someone is, if they have an accent, what kind of clothes they are wearing...and in some cases, if their eyes/hair/whatever are different than the PB we've picked.

So wax poetic about what your characters look/sound like, if they have tics or scars, if they have a distinct singing voice, etc!

(And I'm about to head into a conference call so my girls will be coming in sporadically, but please do ping in throughout the day!)

Real quick as I'm about to dash out the door, but I was hoping this meme came up sometime soon anyway--

EDWARD--

- has long blond hair he keeps in a ponytail, very blue eyes and a predilection for clothing with hoods;
- though does not have a ton of money, so his clothes tend to be odd combinations of what he was wearing when he got there (early 18th century style) and modern stuff;
- is about 5'11', if that;
- is scruffy but at this age not quite bearded yet, if simply because it's hard to grow anything resembling a real beard at 16, damn it;
- walks with remarkable grace, even at this age, and has a tendency to move in a way that's almost feline at times-- or perch like a goddamn bird on things;
- has a very noticeable Welsh accent and a very obviously 18th century lower class way of speaking. example of the hilarious dealing with charles vane variety be here;
- and can sing pretty well. (it's never 100% confirmed in the game that's him, but it sounds enough like him...)
- does not have any of those scars on his face or those tattoos. yet. they'll come soon enough;
- it's not actually noticeable on the outside if he uses the sight; it extends all of his senses and lets him see, smell, hear etc things that most people normally wouldn't-- to the point where he can even follow where someone/something is going if it's moved behind a wall or something else that would normally obstruct view;
- he has this power because his great-great-great-great-great-times-twenty grandparents were products of crossbreeding between people of the First Civilization and the humans they made. All it really does is give him instinctive access to the sight instead of having to work for it for many years, but maybe it'll be useful for some Blood Mage looking for something to spice up their Blood Magic, idk.

Oooh, yay, I love this one.

So Anders:
- Is slightly taller than average but not huge. Say 6'1" or so. He's built solidly (or will be, when he's done growing) but not like someone who works out a lot.
- Has strawberry blond hair that falls to just above his shoulders when it's down, which it usually isn't. He likes to tie the top of it back in a ponytail to keep it out of his face.
- Hazel eyes, despite the PB's blue ones.
- Is manfully attempting to grow stubble. It's not quite there yet.
- I never remember to reference this but his right ear is pierced and he often wears a gold hoop through it.
- Has modernized his clothes about halfway. His wardrobe is still mainly tunics and long coats over fitted pants that tuck into high boots ... but you'll never see him in a robe, and his coats aren't quite as elaborate as the ones in Dragon Age.
- Carries a long staff strapped to his back much of the time, though he leaves it behind when he feels totally safe or it seems like walking around with a giant stick on his back might cause more trouble than it prevents. The rest of the time it's like his mage security blanket.
- Sounds like this. So, basically, British, and with the kind of intonation that suggests he's kidding a lot of the time.

Raven Darkholme

• Is probably in the realm of sixteen and seventeen, but really, it wasn't like she was keeping track before she met Charles.


• Will still look like she's in her 30s when her contemporary boyfriend and brother are old and grey/bald. So lord only knows how long she looked nine.


• Has shoulder length medium blonde hair, decently thick. Sometimes.


• Otherwise has short red slicked back hair. Or not.


• Has brown eyes. Most often. Or gold eyes, mostly when she's stressed. Or blue or green or purple eyes if she feels like it.


• Is sometimes blue and scaly, but generally only if she really trusts you/is really freaked out.


• Or is enjoying the fact that her regular legs might be mistaken for funky leggings.


• LOVES playing with people's perceptions of her.


• Is only just now kind of slightly becoming murderous.


• Has a nice, steady alto speaking voice, frequently with a sardonic tone, and a standard radio/Hollywood American accent.


• Currently mostly smells like Tilda Swinton. Perfume is fun!


• Still dresses like it's the 1950s. Is very pleased that retro is in style. Though is actually technically just about always naked.


• Unless otherwise noted, looks like she does in her icon. It's just easier with shapeshifters.

Luckily my other two characters are PB'd by their actors. Easy win there.

Trying to find a PB for Barry was truly a pain in the ass. Also he was 10 in canon and 17 now so I had to make some decisions on how he would look seven years later.

- Barry is short. I went with Josh H's actual height of 5'7". Which may not be short to you but for me he's shorter than your average guy.
- Barry's hair is blonder than Josh's natural hair. And also more spiky but not as much as he was when he was 10. No one should use that much hair gel
- Also I'm not using Hunger Games icons because Josh just looks wrong for Barry there.
- You won't normally see it but Barry is very well muscled and very acrobatic in the whole parkour/freerunning tradition.

Pinkie Pie

• Is less than 14.2 hands at the withers.


• Is very possibly made of rubber. There's a faint whiff of something rubbery about her. Though that might be just from how often she's handling balloons.


• Has a bubblegum pink coat and a darker-bubblegum pink mane.


• Has curly hair specifically because she's so bubbly and cheerful.


• Has three balloons, two yellow and one blue, on both sides of her flank. This is called her cutie mark. It's a visual metaphor for her entire personality, and if she ever has a different one she will actually be a different pony.


• Has a bright, bubbly, energetic voice, which shoots up in pitch when she gets extra excited. When she's angry, it drops into the bowls of hell


• Smells like bubble gum and powdered sugar. And sometimes gunpowder.

Alana's PB hunt was made easy when I realized Zoe Kravitz, who I'd already been thinking of for general resemblance reasons, had played a character with wings. It was fate, man.

Alana:
- Has black hair, cropped about to her jawline, with greenish tones when the light hits it right. Hazel-green eyes. Smooth brown skin.
- Stands about 5'7" (way taller than Zoe -- sorry, Zoe). She's slender but looks strong, and moves like she knows what she's doing.
- Her wings have a small oblong green top bit, then a sheer second wing shaped like that of a bat below. She holds them flat against her back most of the time, though she tends to unfold them when she's excited, scared or angry.
- Is not particularly girly in how she dresses and carries herself. She's usually too lazy to have shirts adapted to add wing slits, so normally she's wearing a racerback top that lets them poke out with a shawl or cloak over it if it's needed for warmth. Her clothes in general tend to the dark, basic and functional. She skips the make-up, too.
- I don't have a speaking voice in mind for her, but assuming she has Zoe Kravitz's self-confidence and standard American accent work for me.

Roland Chapman

• Has almost no physical description in his canon


• So straight up just looks like Bret McKenzie


• Which makes him 6 feet tall, with curly dark hair and a scruffy beard


• Always wears a cordouroy jacket, unless otherwise noted. It's easier to wear it than to carry it.


• Especially considering the fact that he is always carrying his guitar (unless I've specified that he put it down), either out and ready to play or packed up safe in her case.


• The guitar is female. She's a simple little accoustic, the best he could afford at the time, and the a string tends to go sharp at inopportune moments. Yes, the guitar gets more description than Roland does.


• Her name is Patience, by the way. But Roland will never admit this aloud, and I don't end up using it the way it's used in canon because I don't want to confuse people.


• Has a small scar on his cheek from a sword, and another somewhat larger scar on his thigh from where he got hit with a spear.


• Has a pleasant, tenorish singing voice with perfect pitch, but he saves his real magic for his guitar playing.

-Brown hair, which is sometimes curly and mostly worn down.
-Brown/hazel eyes. They're described in stuff as hazel but colored as brown and the PB has hazel eyes so it's one of the two.
-5'6", and kinda tiny. She's spent a lot of years dancing and still has that build.
-21 years old, and probably looks about her age.
-Is nearsighted and wears glasses sometimes.
-She's from Chicago but has lived in other places for years, so if she has an accent at all it probably shows up in flat vowels here and there.
-Her natural state is intangible, and she's solid basically through sheer force of will. My personal rule is, if you're trying to hurt her, she's probably not getting hit (tbh it's funnier), but if you're not, it's fine to touch her. She doesn't appear any different between the two states.
-She's mostly ditched the old black leather bar look and is a pretty casual dresser, big on jeans and t-shirts, though she's been known to rock the midriff once in a while.
-Has three piercings in each ear and a pierced bellybutton, and sometimes wears a Star of David necklace.

- Tall and very lanky. Over six foot most definitely.
- Has a lot of lean muscles due to his time in a cage with Celia and his time on the run.
- His siblings are pale while Nathan has olive skin
- Has dark, dark hair that flips into his eyes and is chaotically messy
- Sounds English because he is, of course. Nothing special about his accent.
- Smells like the outdoors more likely than not since he spends a lot of time there.
- Doesn't care for technology as it causes an intense buzzing in his head that can cause him to double over in pain and cry
- His eyes are unique (the exact description is: black eyes have dark triangular glints that rotate slowly and aren't really glints at all. They aren't shiny black, but a sort of hollow, empty black). - Has an acid burn scar on one wrist from one of Celia's many torture devices that he tried to escape

- Wears basic, plain clothes. Jeans, tee shirts, and a lot of scarves.
- Can't read. Woe.

Eliot Spencer

• Is quite thoroughly scarred, especially around the shoulders and legs. Will show the ones on his arms off to the right people (being those who will react okay to the whole 'got shot by a sniper in Myanmar' thing).


• Has long brown hair, usually worn down unless he's doing something where it'll get in the way.


• I don't care if he got it cut at the end of season five, he grew it back, dammit.


• That haircut looked dumb.


• Occasionally has a tiny little soul patch. It also looks dumb and pretty douchey, but what can you do.


• Quite frequently has seemingly random bandages on his nose, hands, arms, whathaveyou.


• This is what happens when you hit people for a living.


• Has a low, growly voice that just gets lower and growlier when he's pissed. Sometimes just straight up growls.


• Has a faint southern accent that comes out stronger when he's a) around other southern folks or b) talking about southerny things (or fanonwise, c) when he's all hurt up and injured like)

• Unless otherwise noted, always has at least some facial hair. Currently mostly a scruffy almost-beard, occasionally a goatee.


• Likes to wear eyeliner, mostly just a little bit of black on his lower lid, but has been known to go all out


• Currently has undyed dark blond hair. The island insisted, and he's gotten used to the extra time he has in the morning when he's not spiking it into a mohawk.

-Blonde hair, a little bit longer than shoulder-length with bangs. It's almost always worn down.
-Was born with green eyes, but as a clone Gwen's got blue ones.
-Probably about 5'5", thin, and has a good butt. That's canon.
-Has pierced ears and a pierced bellybutton, and tends to wear a lot of Hot Topic-y bracelets and cuffs.
-Despite the icons, Gwen probably shops entirely at Hot Topic. She dresses a little risque, with a lot of crop tops and low-rise jeans, leather jackets, etc. She fluctuates between rocker chick chic and "punk."
-Carries a knife on her person just in case.
-Totally sounds like Emma Stone.

-About 5'5" and pretty much done growing.
-Has long brown hair with a white streak right up at the front of her hairline, despite the icons. She usually either leaves her hair down or pulls it half back.

-Has the Imperial symbol tattooed on her lower back. The "yolt" is long removed.
-Dresses in the style from back home, which is pretty nice stuff, usually loose and easy to move in. If she's out on the mainland or whatever she'll put on a dress or something that she got here.
-Has a lightsaber (silver!) on her whenever she's able to carry it, but she tends to keep it concealed.
-It's probably impossible to shake the poise off of her.
-You know in Star Wars, when Leia's talking to Tarkin on the Death Star? That's about what I figure Sia's speech patterns are like.
-No discernible accent. Even though she's Imperial and I feel she should be British, apparently it doesn't work that way.
-Isn't a big smiler. She's not adverse to smiling, but it's not an automatic reaction to most things.
-She has a great glare, though.

- Black hair. It was to her shoulders when she arrived, but it's grown a few inches past that now. It's very oddly cut, as if someone just hacked at it. (Which is exactly what happened, in my headcanon: she lopped off her long braids to spite her mother.)
- Tall. The Big Sisters in canon are 6'10", but she's not quite a Big Sister and she doesn't seem to loom over people in cut scenes, so I put her at 5'10".
- She's looking a lot less pale-and-underfed than she was when she arrived. Because she's been getting sun and eating.
- Is strange about personal space, and doesn't quite feel connected to her body -- doesn't know how to move fluidly just yet. (She spent several years sedated.)

- When she first arrived at Fandom, wore very "this was cheap" nondescript clothing. Is starting to branch out some into things she likes. Mostly jeans and dark colors. (Despite the icons featuring her in blue school uniforms, as that's all I have.)

- I picked Wisconsin just to pick a place.

- Is a sex goddess. No, seriously, if you've bedded her, please know that she has skills. Archer got hooked on that shit, and Archer makes James Bond look like a nun. He literally called her the best he'd ever had.
- In season five, she gets addicted to eating cocaine and drops a bunch of weight. (Because she is literally eating nothing but kilograms of cocaine.) This will never happen. I mean, she might start eating coke -- I'm so down with that -- but she's not getting skinny on me. I like my Pammy fat 'n proud.

Because I'm bored and have some updates.

-Barely 5'1" and overall tiny. Probably because the writers like the idea of the tiny girl killing multiple dudes at once.
-In really good shape. She's mostly muscle.
-Dark brown hair, probably about halfway down her back at this point.
-Her preferred clothes are simple, just a shirt and pants or flightsuits. She tends not to wear her Jedi robes much in Fandom, due to the fact that she's had so many clothes ruined during invasions that it's just easier to throw away t-shirts when they're covered in zombie gook or whatever.
-Dresses to fit in with the locals when she can, so when she's on the mainland it's almost always jeans. Also, actually has decent fashion sense, apparently.
-No accent. Despite growing up on the same planet as Ben.
-Always has her lightsaber (purple!) on her, unless otherwise stated. If she can't wear it, it's hidden in her purse. (Yes she has a purse.)
-Basically just has a collection of faded scars. Most notably, there's an lightsaber scar on her stomach and some old burn scars on her back that have mostly healed up and faded.
-Doesn't actually have the dimples Sophia does.
-Brown eyes. One might call them brandy brown. Ad nauseum.
-Has her phone and comlink on her at all times unless stated.
-Is 34, but I actually tried doing the math and figured out that she's physically about two years younger than her numerical age. (I get bored at work, dude.)
-When she travels via portal, she always wears the gnome necklace Eric gave her. Because she wants to send a MESSAGE.

Minako Aino

As Minako Aino -
☪ Natural blonde, big blue eyes, other characters constantly refer to her as 'cute' and 'pretty.' Has legs that go on for MILES, no lie.
☪ HAIR. LOTS OF HAIR. Minako keeps it tied back with a red bow almost constantly, but even then it reaches her butt. When it's completely down, it's probably to her knees.
☪ Very athletically built. Minako plays volleyball and works out a lot, goes running, and is actually quite good at Judo. Girl be toned.
☪ Height: 5'2"
☪ Her favorite colors are red, pink, orange, and yellow, and usually dresses accordingly. LOVES FASHION.
☪ If you're the type that can 'see' or sense such things, Minako might give off faint vibes of 'not-quite-human.' She is, after all, becoming more and more genetically Venusian the more she spends time as Sailor Venus.
☪ Her power aura is gold and sparkly, and is generally dormant unless she's 1) Pissed-off/passionate about something 2) Transformed 3) Subconsciously calling on her inner Venus - ex: on stage for a show or 4) You are unusually strong in that sort of thing and you cleared it with me OOC-ly first.

As Sailor Venus -
☪ Pretty much all of the above, but MORE. Seriously. She is canonically more-gorgeous as Venus, her power aura is BRIGHT and OMG GLITTERY, and girl be super-strong and durable.

Artemis -
☪ And where there's Minako, there's the cat. He tends to follow her EVERYWHERE.
☪ White cat, blue eyes, crescent moon marking on his head.
☪ Can talk, won't do it in front of you.
☪ ALIEN SPACE CAT. You'd clue in to something being funky with Artemis looooong before you realized there was something strange about Minako.

- Tall and built. After getting his new body, it was specifically stated that he went from being like a five to an eight. He's ripped. And has no idea how to deal with it.
- Has dark hair that's finally grown back in after his surgery
- Dark eyes too
- Has a midwestern accent since that's where he hails from
- Has a scar that completely rings his neck because of the surgery he had to graft his head onto someone else's healthy body.
- Dresses in jeans, shirts, flannels, sweaters, the basics. Nothing too flashy about his style.
- Is most comfortable joking around and making light of all the intense crap he's gone through.
- Super uncomfortable with the fame that his surgery brought him so he's been keeping it on the down low on the island thus far.

Rapunzel

Pretty tiny -- she's significantly shorter than Flynn/Eugene in canon, and a head shorter than Gothel, so I'm putting her right around 5'1"-5'2".

Generally wears something along the lines of the pink-and-purple dress she's wearing in all her icons -- it's about calf-length, with puffed sleeves, a lace-up bodice, and a visible petticoat underneath. The only other dress we see her wear in canon looks a whole hell of a lot like that, so I'm going to say she has a lot of pastel variants on the same dress. (Particularly since she sews her own clothes.)

Tends to either kind of scamper around in quick little bursts, or walk carefully and slowly with her hands behind her back -- generally speaking, she moves like a very excitable ten year-old, or else one who's told, "Look, but don't touch."

Her eyes are green and huge.

She has a sprinkle of freckles across the bridge of her nose, which isn't necessarily visible in the icons but they're fairly prominent when you're actually watching her in canon.

If she's in the dorms or class, for the most part, she's barefoot. Barry got her some pink Converse All Star low-tops to wear when she's outside, but she's not used to wearing shoes so those are reserved for when she's actually afraid she might step on something she shouldn't.

She has, yes, seventy feet of blonde hair. For the most part, it's in good condition -- it's fairly thick, and mostly straight. If she's using her healing powers, it glows in a very specific way -- it starts at her roots, and flows down her hair in time with her little song, and then fades to match the cadence of when she stops singing.

She has one, lonely little lock of brown hair at the base of her neck, because if you cut it, it turns brown and never grows again. And if you're looking closely, she has brown eyebrows and brown lashes. Technically speaking, she's not a natural blonde -- her powers make the hair gold, and eventually, she's going to embrace the fact that she looks exactly like her VA (http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/c8/78/4b/c8784b1106cd6ab8c8233a3949a69ca6.jpg). (SPOILERS if you haven't seen my nearly four year-old canon.)

Speaking of, she's voiced by Mandy Moore, so she has a slight lisp when she talks (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQ5_XEZ4mn8) (she doesn't speak until the 50 second mark or so, there), and has a fairly strong singing voice (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=je4nDvNJXsg). (And just to share, that song is the first in the whole movie, and it's the point where everyone I've shown this thing to has gone, "Yep. Yep, I'm in.")

- Tall, toned and knows it. He's not modest about how he looks. He knows he's good looking
- Dark hair, dark eyes all from his daddy's side of the family.
- Like most others, scarred up in lots of places. His come from years of abuse, living on the streets and dealing with Mandel Academy.
- Has a northeastern accent with some New York in there though it's light.
- Wears what's clean. Jeans, tee shirts, Henleys, all that jazz. He's stylish enough but he doesn't go overboard
- Sort of closed off and not very outgoing
- Prickly when he first meets you
- Stubbled sometimes though he doesn't let it get longer than that
- Doesn't smile much but when he does, it's wide and genuine.

Celia Bowen

I said the last time that she was probably about 5'4", but I did a reread since then and noticed how often they emphasize how tiny Celia is -- I'd put her a little smaller, probably around 5'2".

Tends to dress in clothes from her own time unless it's a special occasion or she's been talked into wearing something modern, Eleanor. That means she's got a chemise on under everything, bloomers, multiple petticoats, a bustle, a corset, and then either a dress or a blouse and skirt, and then stockings and boots. (She really needs to just start wearing more modern clothes because holy crap.)

She has waist-length curly brown hair, which Gemma Arterton does not always have and I wish she did. Celia almost always has this up in a knot at the base of her neck, unless she's feeling lazy and has just tied it with a ribbon and left it in a long ponytail.

She also has large brown eyes, which are probably actually darker than Gemma's.

She's slim and not quite as busty as Gemma, but her corset helps. And generally, she doesn't use her magic to enhance her appearance, but she can -- she knows very well that she's quite pretty, though she doesn't really have any feelings about it beyond knowing she doesn't have to work as hard to get people to like her or do things for her.

Though, if you're very observant, she's been consistently putting on weight since she got here -- she's probably about fifteen pounds heavier than when she arrived in Fandom. (Her dad likes to restrict her food when she's home, hooray for Hector Bowen!)

She has a scar on her right ring finger, which is generally probably pretty visible unless she's wearing gloves. (In canon, she wears a ring to cover it up.) It looks like someone branded her with a hot ring, because that's exactly what happened.

Moves fairly gracefully, because she has a sort of sixth magical sense in terms of her physical surroundings, and thus doesn't trip over obstacles or anything very often.

I don't have a speaking reference for her -- canon dictates that she has a very low, soft voice, and that she's American so she sounds like she's from the Northeast United States. She tends to sound educated, but not necessarily very formal.

Johnny is...

*Slightly above average height, 6' or so.
*Lean, no fat on him because he literally burns it off. He also works out, so he's also toned.
*Blonde hair that he keeps fairly short but stylish.
*Doesn't care much about his clothes. He looooves a leather jacket he hasn't had a chance to wear yet. He wears short sleeves most of the time because he can regulate his internal temperature, but beyond some dressy clothes, there's nothing too great about what he has right now. Part of that is the fact that he hasn't been home in months. Part of that is because he's always seconds away from FLAMING ON and burning it all off.
*He very often wears a blue toned impact suit underneath his clothes that won't burn. It still has a 4 logo on the chest. The impact suit itself has no sleeves so he can easily wear it under his clothes, but he does have a light jacket made of the same material if he wants to look a little more professional when he's on fire.
*And yes, he sets on fire. If his clothes are made of the special material, they'll be visible within the flame aura, but to the naked eye everything within it will look bright red due to the heat. Coming off his body is a yellow flame that he's able to keep under control for the most part.
*Hes got a bit of a New York accent, but he's travelled all over the world since he was little so it's not super pronounced.
*Hes usually smiling, either because he's having a good time or thinking of girls.

Ghanima Atreides

♠ Has the deep blue-on-blue glowing eyes (yes, they are VERY NOTICEABLE) of the Fremen.
♠ Tends to wear Imperial-style clothing while teaching, Fremen tunics/robes while in her off-time. She's got one or two pairs of 'contemporary' clothing that she only wears when going off-island. Renee and Faith made her buy them.
♠ Impeccable posture and manners. She *is* a Princess Royal.
♠ Very graceful, liquid motion, much like a predator. She *is* Fremen. Since she is a desert creature, there is no unnecessary movement. She is economy of gesture.
♠ She carries a crysknife with her at all times.
♠ Ghanima is Pre-born; her mother, Chani, consumed so much melange during her pregnancy that Leto and Ghanima awoke to full, adult consciousness before birth, receiving the genetic memories of both their male and female ancestors. This means she has voices in her head. Lots and lots of voices, and they're all real people. She's got excellent mental discipline, but probably would register strangely to any telepathic abilities.
♠ She is Bene Gesserit, Reverend Mother, and Sayyadina all in one. Ghanima can read the tiniest twitch of your eye or gesture of body language to know when someone is lying. Or hiding something.

Irene Adler

Lara Pulver is 5'3", so that's what I'm going with, but Irene almost always is in heels that'd probably put her closer to 5'6". If you see her in flats or stocking feet, it's probably a pretty dramatic difference. (Just speaking from experience as a tiny lady myself who wears heels almost every day.)

She has longish dark brown hair, about the middle of her back. It's wavy when she wears it down (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=50659197), which is almost never. Usually, she's got it up in a fairly elaborate (http://media.tumblr.com/fd43cf6f5990792e2e34f54790225100/tumblr_inline_mfx80nErmz1rw8z0i.gif) updo. Her eyes are bright blue and fairly noticeably so.

She also almost always has a full face of makeup, complete with red lipstick. If she doesn't, something is wrong. Tends to dress extremely well, and from what I can tell, doesn't especially like pants. She tends to favor knee-length dresses, always designer, and in terms of shoes, she's a Louboutin kind of girl. She tends to accent with a few pieces of jewelry -- she likes watches and stud earrings, that kind of thing. And naturally, she also has very sexy taste in lingerie, which I am not going to link because I'm at work.

Her speaking voice is very low and throaty (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utwenXbh9hA), and she doesn't tend to raise it. She has what I presume is a London accent, but beyond that I'm going to say I'm not a linguist and have no idea -- she speaks very clearly and crisply, but definitely sounds very English.

Probably has a gun in her purse or strapped to her leg. She's not dumb.

Mara Jade

- Short like a thing that isn't tall. She tops out at 5'2" as a grown up (because apparently Stars Wars is full of tiny tiny people and also Anakin) so right now she's about 4'11"
- Has a genuine British Coruscanti accent
- Built and moves like a dancer. Or like a highly trained and terrifying assassin. Both of those. Because of both of those, her clothes tend to be something that are easy to move in--leggings and tunics, mostly.
- Not by nature a smiler, but she's doing it here because she's covering as a normal non-assassin-y teenager person
- Has legitimately drunk the Kool-Aid about the Empire being an improvement over the corruption of the Republic and how the Jedi were traitors to everything. Is gonna be super pissed in a decade about that.
- Is Force-sensitive but only sporadically trained in it. She can communicate to the Emperor even from here, has a finely honed danger sense and can totally tell if you're lying to her but doesn't know much beyond that. She's trained in the lightsaber but doesn't tell anyone. She can probably also kill you with your shoe, a pencil and her hair tie. She won't tell you that either.

- Has a red gem stuck to her forehead (the wonderful artists of DC constantly move it around, resize it, change it from teardrop to diamond to oval and back again, and change it from smooth to faceted, wtf). It's not glued on, it's part of her, but it can be forcibly removed. Or bitten off, as the case may be. Thank you, canon.
- Is usually wearing a pair of gold earrings that glow faintly
- Tends to dress in lots of black, but has had other (dark!) colors forcibly added to her wardrobe. Unless it's wicked hot out, she's usually wearing her cloak, too. The Glacian War got her more used to wearing pants, but she's far more comfortable in skirts.
- She's tall, 5'9" or so, slender, but with a typical comic book improbable rack.
- Tends to speak formally (i.e., no contractions), very softly, and with a trace of an accent you just can't place.

Raven's Soul-Self
- Looks like a giant bird, only more two-dimensional than not.
- Is black, black like my soul, and shadowy (ignore the fact that it's white in the linked picture -- that's from her White Raven phase).
- It's solid when it wants to be, intangible when it doesn't. Oh, writers.
- The outline of her Soul-Self has a golden glow.
- Except when she's evil. Then it glows red.
- When she teleports someone, she takes them inside her (insert joke here) with her Soul-Self, into the netherverse (insert another joke here). It looks like being in the middle of space on random stepping stones. The skies can reflect Raven's mood -- blue and purple and chilly, but not cold, is good; red and very cold is bad. For a quick teleport you're usually not in there long enough to get more than a glimpse, but she can keep people there indefinitely.
- Except evil things, because glacial_queen has forbidden it.
- Though her stupid vampire would-be husband is stuck in there somewhere.

Raven's Demon Form
- You wouldn't like her when she's angry.
- Her skin turns red. Or pink or orange, depending on who's coloring her.
- She gets another pair of eyes above the ones she always has, and all four glow red.
- She loses clothing. Seriously.
- She grows fangs and her fingers get all claw-y.
- Her ears get pointy. She's a demonic elf.

John Constantine

- 100% telepathy proof. Actually, at this point, 200%, since developing his Force abilities means that his telepathy proofing has also gotten an enormous boost. If you rely on your powers to figure out if someone's lying -- uh, sorry, but that won't work on Atton.
- Medium height, somewhat more muscled than a guy like him probably should be. Has gathered up a LOT of scars over the years, of varying kinds, most dramatically the one that goes almost entirely around his shoulder. Between that and the tiny Sith tattoo on his hip, he prefers to keep his shirt on.
- Has the basics of Jedi training down, but that's about it. Not that that makes him less dangerous, since he was trained as a Jedi Hunter and he's very, very good at fooling and tricking people.
- In fact, it's probably that that makes him perfect for his current role as Jedi Sentinel, a branch of the Jedi largely gone by Anakin et al's time.
- Carries a lightsaber outside of the school. Because back in his day they still believed in the healing powers of technicolor, he has a yellow blade that gives off a bronze light.
- Tends to slouch and generally give off Manly Scoundrel vibes. Some portion of it's an act. Much of it is internalized by now.

Isabelle Lightwood

--- Has two pieces of jewelry almost always on her: the red ruby pictured in the icon right now, and the Lightwood family ring on her left middle finger. (It has an engraved L with a band of flames.) She also wears a ton of bracelets and anklets and whatever. Girl likes her bling, sometimes.
