meme: veritaserum

Ask for a questions-type meme and you will get a questions-type meme! We haven't done this one since February, it looks like, so!

Your character has just ingested a large quantity of veritaserum, or "truth potion." Any questions asked of them they have to answer truthfully, whether they want to or not! There's absolutely no way around it.


As usual, nothing is gained from this ICly but it's still fun. Go forth and be honest!

Far, far more fun than I had anticipated. I'll certainly be doing so more often!

(And they are a little stiff, but I'm assured that they'll relax a little with wear. They can't hurt to have, just in case? They come in rather handy for Lady Ghanima's class.)

See, my breeches and boots aren't as bad for climbing in as your skirts, but it is rather inconvenient to fit the safety equipment over my coat. I'll think about it. (And probably get some, just out of curiosity.)

I... really don't think I ever will be, no. For as much as I think I might be able to get a handle on my powers, I'm terrified that when I go back, if word gets out about them, people will think of me as a monster.

They will. They'll be afraid.

I'm... not certain. She might understand better why I can't be around her, and that might have made things easier growing up. But even if she knew, I wouldn't be able to get close.

I can't hurt her again. I can't.
