meme: veritaserum

Ask for a questions-type meme and you will get a questions-type meme! We haven't done this one since February, it looks like, so!

Your character has just ingested a large quantity of veritaserum, or "truth potion." Any questions asked of them they have to answer truthfully, whether they want to or not! There's absolutely no way around it.


As usual, nothing is gained from this ICly but it's still fun. Go forth and be honest!

You don't need Winston's love or approval. The cost is too high. Go to your room. Pack your school bag. Take whatever cash is in his office. Leave Christian a note. Flush all pills and drugs in the house down the toilet. Leave.

Maybe if you leave now, you'll give Christian and Cordelia the push they need to get help and get out. Maybe Christian will realize he can break free from the family. Maybe it won't work and you'll still lose both of them. Either way, you tried.

You're smarter than you think you are. You're stronger than you think you are. You can sleep in doorways and youth hostels and steal from hot dog vendors. You can control the voices. You aren't crazy.

Trust Hank, trust yourself, and go ahead and be paranoid as hell about everyone else. It's going to be what keeps you alive for the next few years.
