Ghost-Con BDE: The Fighty Researchy Bits Sign-Ups!
Hello and how do you do, Fandom! Now that applications for Ghost Con are well on their way, it's time for us to look at how we're going to be getting rid of our ghosts afterwards. There's two ways for you to help with that: do the research, or be part of the strike team that goes in to disrupt the power that Ingvar is shoving into the ghosts.
Well, actually, there's three, but we'll get to that in a bit.
Did somebody say research?
Indeed we did! Students and teachers and townies (oh my!) choosing to help out through scholarly means can gather up in the library to hunt for clues on how to deal with this level of possession. The research will take place from Wednesday through Friday; during this period, clues will be handed out to those favored by the RNG. These clues will lead Fandom to the final ritual that'll free everyone of that pesky ghost problem.
I'm more of a 'punch people' kind of person.
We've got good news for you! A small strike team will take off for Ingvar on Saturday morning, to utilize the ceremony the researchers have uncovered to cut off the power Ingvar is feeding those dastardly possessing fiends. This will be preplayed, starting the Monday of BDE week (December 1st) and posted on Saturday morning. Being part of the strike team will mean fighting your way through whatever nastiness Ingvar can throw at you before performing the ritual, so choose wisely.
But what if I don't want to be on a team?
More good news! Both ghosts and possessed people will be running wild on Saturday, trying to either escape the island or get to Ingvar to attack the strike team. It's up to the rest of you to fight the ghosts and herd the possessed to Our Lady of Fandom, where they can have some measure of safety. You don't need to sign up for this, however.
Deadline for sign-ups is Sunday, November 30th, and for those who love brainstorming, we're tossing in a brainstorming OCD to boot. Woo!

Re: Brainstorming
Johnny Bartlett is a spree/serial killer so into upping his body count to have the most kills that he keeps going after death. He won't manage to up that count here (for one thing, he manages to possess a guy who's gotten REALLY GOOD at not killing people), but I'd love it for him to try a time or two.
Anyone up for either a) a ghost reaching into their chest and trying to crush their heart, b) stopping a ghost from reaching into someone's chest and trying to crush their heart, or c) possessed Eliot being super creepy at them and not killing them, let me know!
Also, Johnny's murderous true love/partner in crime Patricia is not coming with him to Fandom (this will put a damper on his happy go lucky killing spree as well), so he's likely to go looking for a replacement. Any young women (students/young townies) up for being stalked by a ghost? (Just the ghost, not possessed-Eliot because that age difference creeps me out.)

(FYI, Johnny can like it rough, so the creepiness can as much as trying to choke someone with wallpaper. This canon. I mean.)

Oh, also, would her perception possibly include seeing a glowing number 41 on her forehead if she were to look in the mirror? He likes to mark his intended victims. . . .

I was kind of hoping you'd offer Cecil up for this. Eliot: "Look kid, I STOPPED this time, okay? Calm down."
Re: Brainstorming
Cecil: "You still tried to kill me! And you still didn't even introduce yourself! Honestly!"
(His ghost will be a mean one, too, though he seems to mostly only have it in for family members.)

(He toooootally has to try.)

(Yaaaaaaay!)
Re: Brainstorming
