meme: sorting hat

I'm bored and it's quiet and this was a theme for me yesterday and also Shanie said to, so let's have a meme we haven't done since September!

For those of you not familiar with Harry Potter, there are four houses into which the students are sorted based on certain defining traits:

Gryffindor - daring, courage and chivalry
Hufflepuff - hard workers, loyalty, fairness
Ravenclaw - wit, learning, and wisdom
Slytherin - cunning, resourcefulness and ambition

A couple points for clarification because I've seen a lot of sorting stuff over the years:
All hero types are not necessarily Gryffindors.
All jerks/bad guys are not necessarily Slytherins, nor are all Slytherins necessarily jerks/bad guys.
Hufflepuff is not where you stick someone just because you can't think of anything else.
People can totally fit into more than one house.

All you have to do is ping your characters in, and people can chime in with which house they think your character belongs in. You can totally comment as to where you think your character should go, too. Feel free to give reasons when sorting people because that's half the fun, just don't be mean or I will totally come over there. And don't forget to check back during the day as more people ping in.

I think she could slot into several houses but, above the others, I think she's Gryffindor. Her love of science and science-y things pings me as Ravenclaw but she's got the attitude of wanting to help, to be in the thick of things and doesn't seem to care if that puts her in danger so I put her in Gryffindor.

I don't know a ton about Gwen but, just from her interactions here with the people back home, I think she's a Hufflepuff. She's kind and she definitely has to be patient what with everything she's gone through.

I'm coming down on a fairly even split between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff in that if left to her own devices she'd be pretty happy being an engineering geek, but she's also got a massive loyal streak that gets her dragged from one end of the galaxy to the other trying to do the right thing.

I feel vaguely bad about unequivocally saying Slytherin, just because of that general tendency for people to go "oh, Slytherin == bad guys," but . . . Raven's not one to shy away from less savory ways to achieve her goals, so she definitely has that cunning and ambition down.

He strikes me a Gryffindor more than any other house. From what I've seen, dude throws himself into stuff head first without too much thought, isn't afraid to be a human shield for friends and is a giant teddy bear has no fear.
