Hello! I'm bored, the game's been depressingly slow, and we haven't had this meme since April!

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

My job is awful so feel more than free to ask your own questions since I can't spend my whole day doing it, wah, and check back throughout the day for new stuff!

I'm cheating at my own question: going with Angel, Aeryn, Anakin and Callisto back in the early days would have been AMAZING.

Do you ever make plans to include other characters in canon catchups? How far do you go, and why?

[throughaphase]

I'm not sure I've ever done one with more than one other person, and it's always a boyfriend or whoever's closest to my character. Wrangling more characters than that and making sure everyone has something to do seems like it requires more energy than I have.

But then I suggest plots and events and such that everyone can get in on so I feel no guilt!

Do you have a pet policy for your characters? How do you decide if they get one, etc?

For me it depends on the character and whether they'd get one, be proactive about getting one, or just take one in if it dropped into their laps.

Atton is very staunchly anti-pet, and Ender didn't think he'd be able to take one. Then there's Dante, whose life isn't stable enough that he'd even think about taking on responsibility for somebody else, but who still feels a kinship with some critters. So I play with that.

... I haven't actually had a character who's remotely interested in pets in a while. Maybe I should get Cass a Mabari.

What's your favorite thread you've ever done?

How do you like your coffee ships? Do you have any preferences or methods or patterns you fall into?

Unplanned. Sometimes my characters just fall in love. I think I usually contact the other player and ask about it once I realize that is what is happening.

Have you ever had a "nooo I dropped that character too soon?" moment?

Leto. Which was why I returned ;). It might have been fun to develop Ichabod more but I didn't have the energy then and I'm ok with dropping him.

Any recent canon developments you want to glee about?

Most of my canons are semi-closed at this point, and DA isn't due for another year, so all I've got is YAY ASSASSIN'S CREED: SYNDICATE RECOGNIZED EDWARD EXISTED AND LET US KNOW SOMETHING OF HIS POST-CANON ADVENTURES.

And, well, DA did have the Trespasser DLC in which Cassandra is absolutely adorable.

Also Ninja Theory just won an award for the visual design of Dante's canon, which they richly deserve.

Do you have a current character you wish you played more?

All of them? But mostly this guy here.

Are there any characters you're thinking of apping?

There might be. I'm not sure this is a good thing. On the other hand I have more time for it than I had when I left the game.

Aaanything with questions in it, because there's nothing I love more than reading people's thoughts (IC or OOC) on threads and RP in general.

Is there any upcoming stuff you're looking forward to doing?

This guy's canon catch-up, and someone else's canon catch-up in relation to him before that. But both things are still a little while off.

Also Edward hits canon soon. Ooh.

Do you ever go back and read old stuff?

I frequently go back and reread semi-recent threads I was particularly pleased with, and I have some Greatest Hits I go to on rainy days, like the whole lead up to Ender and Ben getting together.

Have you ever gotten hooked on a show, etc. because of a PB?

Allllll the time.

Just recently I mainlined Narcos... then mainlined it again... purely because of this guy's PB. (Not that I can use any of that, since he has the most hilarious moustache in it. Still. Good show.)

Wishverse, after all these years. It was awesome. Also, I haven't had the time to really participate more recently.

Do you like ho'ing out your characters?

I did not.

And then I apped a character for whom ho'ing is a coping mechanism and suddenly that made it interesting and now I'm all weirded out by myself.

eta: self, there's a subtle distriction between 'coping mechanism' and 'defense mechanism'. One does not ho guns blazing.

Do you mainly play girls, boys, or a mix?

Hm. I was going to say a mix, but thinking about it I've played three boys, one girl, one hermaphrodite and one angel.

Is there a character type you find interesting in canon but you wouldn't want to/be able to play?

I have the hardest time playing bitch characters, much as I love them. I get too paranoid about how i come off and drop them pretty quick.

Do you get bleed?

I used to. These days it's more working to keep my own anxiety from bleeding into my characters. Playing confident characters who shrug stuff off helps.

Back into Marvel, Teen Wolf, Vampire Academy, True Blood, the Hunger Games, Ultomate Spider-Man...

Do you think you're successful with alumni characters?

I did good with Jaina! I think I can do it, but only if they have enough people left on island to stay connected Ted.

I couldn't stop for coffee because of traffic and the stuff at the office is evil. It's sludge masquerading as coffee.
