Graaaaduation!
Hey, folks! Next weekend is grad weekend (oh my!) which means it's time to put in your requests for graduation guests!
NPC Guests
Guest NPCs can have their own journals, just like Parents Weekend, and they need to be signed up here. Whether or not your character knows their guests are coming is totally up to you and your level of evilitude, but we need to know by Thursday, April 28th. There's no limit on number of guests; we expect people will app what they think they can handle playing over the course of the weekend.
Please provide us with the following information for each NPC guest in the screened comment section below:
NPC guests are only for seniors. Other students are more than welcome to attend the graduation ceremony in support of their friends, but they can't bring their own NPCs.
Alumni and Expatriates
All alumni and expats are welcome to show up and don't need to be signed up here or specifically invited by a senior. All guests -- NPC and alum/expat -- are welcome to visit campus but need to sleep in town. Guests can start arriving the morning of Friday, April 29nd, and need to leave the island by Monday, May 2nd.
Valedictorian
Since it worked out quite well the last few years, we're sticking with the same method of choosing a valedictorian (and possibly a salutatorian as well): we're asking interested seniors to submit a brief in-character essay (up to 3 paragraphs) on why they should be considered for the job.
Keep in mind that the valedictorian will be expected to make a speech at graduation. All essays need to be submitted as a screened comment here, also due by Thursday, April 28th. If you have any questions, leave them here as well, and they'll be unscreened!
