My brain is baking out in a poorly air-conditioned animation studio and there was a request for a meme, and this one hasn't been done since last August, so...

When something catches your interest or intrigues you you seem easily manipulated. Perhaps this will be useful to me one day. Meanwhile answering your questions amuses me.

Peridot: You are an extremely bright creature. I cannot imagine how difficult the adjustment to human society must be for you, especially at your age.

Jono: You seem far too concerned with immediate success with your theater. Though I will not fault your instinct to provide beverages as incentive to attend.

I am grateful for your friendship, especially considering the first time we met. You are kind and generous, and I have met few people who are. I know life hasn't always treated you kindly in return, which is something we have in common. Of course, there are things about me that you don't know, but seeing how you have tried to accept Dr Lecter's secrets, I am starting to think that perhaps you can be trusted with mine too.

Periot: You were really nice to me and that's awesome. I also think you're adorable, because I've seen you in class, and ohmygod. You seem hard on the outside (ohmygod, I am so sorry, but I can't feel bad about that one), but obviously not that hard insode. I really want to know more about you and your world and I'm pretty sure I'll end up annyoing you, but oh well. Take my friendship and gratitude and like it!

Bus Driver Guy: Thank you. For taking a chance on some messed up kid. I really hope trusting you doesn't wind up biting me in the ass like it usually does, because I'm going to trust you anyway and I really do need all the help I can get.

You haven't tried to kill me, which is certainly a step up from the last alien I met who was strongly associated with a green gemstone. So... that's something, I guess?

Sparkle: You're a nice guy. Glad all my shit slowed down enough that I could find out. On the other hand, damn, and I thought I had issues.

You seem like an interesting person, and not just because you're easy on the eyes. I hope you're settling in okay. Something tells me that 'weird' isn't necessarily a dealbreaker for you, though.

Because even though you're blue and a million years old and from a very different universe, I related to you more than anyone else here so far. You remind me of my friends back home, actually, which makes this place a little better, but you're actually interested in aND not weirded oit by all the strange crap I deal with. You seem like a good kid. And I mean, I figured as much before I knew you were a fellow 'stuck in a galaxy being ruled by an evil empire' survivor who was trying to find a way out for your family.
