So, Verity's gonna come down with the sickness! Anyone on Team Evil interested in being the vector for that, as opposed to just being a factor of the island?

I've got Sparkle (of course) and Kanan both getting a dose of the evil!sick, if anyone has any interest in taking advantage of and/or trying to circumvent any damage they might cause as a result.

... One will be much easier to hold back than the other, for obvious reasons.

If I don't chicken out and just have Hera off networking in the GFFA, she can try dealing with Kanan. I honestly have no idea what to do with her.

;) If she sticks around, she's welcome to take a crack at it. I'll try not to traumatize her too badly.

I'm replying here, but I'm including Zack in this question. Seivarden will stay normal and since she's met Kanan, Sparkle and Zack (with various results) I'd be interested in having her meet any of them. Possibly preplay though, as I don't know yet how much I can be around.

Oooo! I'd be up for any or all of these, and I'm totally cool with preplay if you need it! Have you got a preference? With Zack, I might need to at least wait until the BDE starts, since there'll be a lot of stuff I'll have to get a feel for when it comes to his reality and his particular sort of crazy. But Kanan and Sparkle would be easy at any point. :D

Maybe easier with Kanan or Sparkle then? Either of them would be fun, unless Kanan and Seivarden are likely to try to kill each other. Not that Seivarden is bad at fighting (out of practice but still 30 years in the military) but I think evil!Kanan would win (I think even normal Kanan would win). So maybe Sparkle?

Yeah, Kanan would definitely give Seivarden a run for her money, and there's no reason why he wouldn't cheat and use the Force and a blaster if he's gone full-on crazy by the time they meet. Sparkle would probably be the safer bet, there!

I really want Miguel to be able to actually Do Stuff in this, his first BDE. Either brainy stuff, or spidery stuff, or both. Anybody want a partner-in-not-crime?

Hyacinthe is going to be a blind seer, wandering around offering prophecies and whatnot to people who talk to him--at least, when he can get away from his keeper, Raven. Since he's technically on Team Evil, he won't give away their plans, but if you're interested in having your character's past (or future) told, he's here for that.

The world broke and took her away from her sister forever, and so Yang Xiao Long is going to burn. it. all.

Taiyang's 'sunny little dragon' isn't quite so sunny anymore, but she's more than happy to use her inner fire to turn everything to ash. What happens when a Huntress goes bad? She goes Team Evil with a vengeance. In her mind, the world needs to be cleansed, and that's the only way to save everyone from themselves, and from the type of pain that she feels.

It was bad enough that Zack's own home turned against him, the company hunting him down and trying to do so much worse than exterminate him. Then he found his way back to the island, thinking he was safe from his loved ones turning into monsters, and found... well...

Zack is alone. Zack is tired. Zack has seen enough hurt everywhere he goes and would like very much for the rest of the world to have a break, too. And if Ino had made it, maybe it would be different. But some heroes can't hold on forever. Especially not on their own.

So, the thing about Gems is that they live forever.

And the thing about living forever and being immune to the mind-wiping effects of the plague is that a Gem caught in the middle of it would watch the organic beings in her life slowly degrade and lose themselves. Or would watch them die fast, and sudden, and be gone.

And seeing a world brought to ash after all that was too much for Peridot. Her reasons for being in on this with Team End-Of-The-World are purely selfish, but if everything ends before she ever really learns to care...

... Well. Maybe forever would be less unbearable if she didn't know what she was missing before she was broken.

Still a giant magma-monster. Still getting bigger and more boss-like every day. Still completely in his right mind. Jono hasn't had the best time of it since the hollowing started, but he's hanging in there, even if he's got a sort of backup file of Hannibal's mind travelling along in his head for the ride these days.

And he has no intention of letting anybody end the bloody world after all of that, thank you. Maybe he's just more stubborn than the rest of you lot, but he's not letting all that effort go to waste just because of one obliterated world. Quitters.

Hannibal honestly couldn't care less about the world, and isn't really bothering to hide it these days - it'd waste too much brain power. He's spending all of his on keeping himself as together as possible.

He's forgetting things, and occasionally absent-minded, but otherwise is still the ~~wonderful, loveable~~ ~~cannibal~~ survivor he's always been. And since Jono is keeping a backup of him, if Jono wants to save the world, he'll go along with it.

FH!Kathy has no idea what's going on here. Sorry, guys, she was dead this time last year, somebody wanna catch a girl up?

AU!Kathy was already having memory problems last year. This year, they're a lot worse. She's got one foot in hollowed and one foot on a banana peel, as the (modified) saying goes. She remembers bits of the last year, including the other Fandom, and the last day or so okay, but other than that...

She's absolutely here to help save...huh? What was it again? What are they doing? Hi, she's Kathy! Nice to meet you!

This is where I'm going to be completely honest and admit that I am so, so, so, soooo out of my element here because, yeah. Also, it's the holiday seasons so my brain will likely be very dead from work so I don't even know how much I'll be able to spare for a plot that I feel a little lost in the woods for. Any hand-holding or guidance is one-hundred percent welcome My kids are totally blank slates and I'm going in blind and willing to be used for whatever or set completely adrift or whatever else happens.

I have no frame of reference here. I'm like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie.

Hit me up on the e-mails and we can noodle a thing! Or I'll at least fill you in on how last year's BDE went down. :) It's not as big and overwhelming as it looks at a glance, but I imagine it's a lot to catch up on if you weren't there.

You know....now that I actually understand the BDE more and I'm starting to consider what I could potentially do....and with what you've got going on with Yang, I think we could do something really interesting with her and Sidon, who already lost his sister the last time his world broke, and now that it's gone and broken again...

I'm not yet sure how much I'll be able to participate, but FH!Breq will try to defend the island and rescue people. If anyone is interested in dealing with her, I'm also up for preplay.

Both Peters are dyed-in-the-wool Hero Types, and they've been to Hell and back, and they'll be damned (again) if they let this world go there.

They also have no problems working together or with other people, even if FH!Peter is a little weirded out by AU!Peter's being human.

So if anyone wants help from one or more mages...
