I caught up on work last week and now I don't know what to do, so let's check up on characters! Haven't done this since August.

How are you feeling right now? Eh
What's going on for you at the present time? She's got a decent amount of stuff going on, but still feels like she's spinning her wheels and hates that. Which is resulting in the first new look in Fandom.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I'm mostly just watching to see where she goes, especially since she's turned out to be a lot more resistant to doing things she doesn't want to do/things that would be fun for me just because than I thought she'd be. I do feel like I need to give her like one big thing to really focus on soon though, or she's going to get so annoyed.
Also I need to find more reasons to use all her armor icons. It's cool armor.
What's coming up for you? Nothing specific!
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Anyone. She's become my go-to when I'm bored so I will take any play.

How are you feeling right now? TIRED
What's going on for you at the present time? Kitty's a new mom! Which she's enjoying, but she's also been out of things for the last month or so, so now it's about actually getting her out.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I kinda can't wait to see how she and Clint handle having a kid along with Fandom and superhero stuff.
What's coming up for you? Nothing specific, general baby stuff. I do have one canon thing to do that I was supposed to do months ago and didn't but it's small.

How are you feeling right now? Imbued with rebellious Christmas Spirit
What's going on for you at the present time? Right now, I'm just trying to find a balance between eating all this holiday crap up with a spoon and hoping my mother doesn't somehow find out, and trying not to think about the fact that all of this stuff shouldn't be so exciting for me, this should be normal, and it's definitely not normal to be worried about "getting caught" enjoying Christmas.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I'm still trying to push Astrid out of her shell, but she is a stubborn one. The baby steps have been there, though, and the new semester should hopefully present some opportunities.
What's coming up for you? I'm sending Astrid home for a visit with her mother over the winter break. So that's going to be...interesting. And probably not at ALL regressive toward all the hard work I've been doing pushing her forward, but it's very true to canon, and I'm interested to see how it plays out.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? I'm really excited to explore some of the sparks of new friendships and interactions she'd had...there's a lot of people she's talked to once or twice with good results that I really want to have develop into more interactions. I just love it when anyone can make her open up, even if it's just a little, because it's so hard to actually get her there!
Also, she needs to make friends with someone with long hair, I realized, because braiding hair is a thing for her that I've wanted her to do with someone, but I'm pretty sure everyone she's close to has short hair.

How are you feeling right now? Mostly fine.
What's going on for you at the present time? A little worried about a repeat of last year's holiday season, but otherwise not much. She's teaching voluntarily, which I didn't see coming, but she actually started to kind of like it at the end.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I still need to try and edge her toward those little badass moments she gets in canon. Maybe for the BDE.
What's coming up for you? Teaching! Otherwise she's coasting.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Anyone, especially adults. I need to get her out more, it's just *waves vaguely at louder characters*

How are you feeling right now? Okay, kinda?
What's going on for you at the present time? Soooo, there's this guy, and he's big and enthusiastic and apparently like 210% Team Vette and THAT'S a head-trip right there. And figuring out life on the island is... kind of coming along, but there's a lot of spinning the ol' wheels, feeling trapped and frustrated and useless. It's a strange balance.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I'm kind of just coasting at this point to see where she ends up, honestly. She's got a lot she's carrying with her, from ugly history to uncertain future, and figuring out how she sorts those things with Fandom tossed into the mix is going to be fun.
What's coming up for you? Just tagging along with other people for whatever they do, mostly. No plans to get her home yet; she'd never come back.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Anyone have an interest in playing pirates or going treasure hunting with a scrappy Twi'lek girl? Hi, I have a scrappy Twi'lek girl for you!

How are you feeling right now? You know what? Pretty damn great, actually.
What's going on for you at the present time? I'm definitely getting a little more homesick than I'm willing to let on, but I know I've got a pretty sweet thi1ng going on here, too. Which is nice. And kind of a surprise. This place has been pretty good to me.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? More of those moments that dig into all of Prompto's fears and insecurities once you get past the goof-off, silly facade he puts up for everyone. Those are the moments that make playing him the beeeeest. I love my sweet, sad, squishy gunslinger.
What's coming up for you? Eventually he needs to get MAGIC SUMMONING WEAPONS from his prince boyfriend, nothing too big is in the works for Prompto at the moment.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Of course he feels very much that he needs to interact with Yang, like, a million times more, and him and Norman need to geek out about comics more, and he doesnt hang out with his big sis Sabine enough either! But he needs to pester everyone so much more because I love him with everyone~~

What's going on for you at the present time? Rey has a ship! She's spending most of her free time fixing it up in the hopes that she can sell a fully functional ship and set herself up so her life doesn't consistently suck so hard all the time.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? How Rey thinks and operates on Jakku is very different from how she was able to in Fandom, so I'm liking getting to play in that mentality for a while. And then canon.
What's coming up for you? she's in the middle of a canon catch-up that's going to take a while, and then I get to do some fun stuff.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? I mean, it's pretty much just Kanan for a while, probably.

How are you feeling right now? FANTASTIC! AMAZING! INCREDIBLE! There are truly no words suffienct enough to properly Express how wonderful I am feeling as of late!

Well, I've only just asked one of the most incredible people I've ever had the priviledge to meet to be my girlfriend, and she actually said yes!!!! AND I'll be taking my friends on another thrilling adventure in my homeworld. If it weren't for winter, I would be quite confident in saying that I dont think things could be going better.
I am...trying very hard not to think too much about winter.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Sidon continues to hit all the right marks. I want him to be a bit more fighty, because I know he is, but he doesnt get to explore that as much, and I hope the Hyrule trip coming up allows him to show his serious side a bit more with a few of his friends, especially Vette, because I also love my sweet, sad, squishy shark.
What's coming up for you? Oh, I'm sure bringing his new GIRLFRIEND to his KINGDOM will bring up some...interesting Zora politics, mwa ha ha.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Anyone who is cranky af lol. I need to just throw him at people, because that's so easy to do, but I'll never not worry about it because this dude's a lot to just have thrown at you.

What's going on for you at the present time? Sia is busy Empressing, which is a terrible job! She finally got a project off the ground, though, so she's trying to ride that for a while.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Sis's headed towards the end of the line of Legends canon, and while I wouldn't call her a bad guy in the last series, she is most definitely an antagonist who had the creator having to explicitly state that she didn't go dark and/or crazy, she just really needs rules. So I'm trying to give myself more opportunities to head in that direction and make some more questionable decisions.
What's coming up for you? Getting to canon. Afterwards, I have ideas.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? The usual suspects of Jessica, Atton, Sparkle and Cade, plus anyone who wants to play with her. She doesn't get into town as much as I'd like her to.

How are you feeling right now? Actually good.
What's going on for you at the present time? Jaina is technically empressing but Jag is doing the big stuff while she's running a Jedi school and training a padawan, plus she's got two kids to chase after. She's actually doing good.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I should wreck that by starting the Imperial Knights and totally making her deal with that when her whole existence is basically based on being a Jedi, but I am scared!
What's coming up for you? I have some smaller things I want to play with with her. And coming up with any excuse to come back on island for a while.

How are you feeling right now? Alright, I guess. Kind of restless, if I'm honest.
What's going on for you at the present time? Not a whole lot, really, and that's kind of the problem. Like, I've been working really hard on this whole jello-in-space thing; really hard. I've put more work into this than I've put into anything in my whole life, and I'm ready, technically. Like, I know I could just pick up and ship out and set myself up right now and be totally fine. But I don't. Everything could be set, but I'm not, like, emotionally ready? Because I like it here. It's comfortable here, I have friends here, it's quirky like back home but with a significantly lower chance of that quirkiness also being deadly. And out there...obviously, I'll still have friends here, but out there I'm pretty much by myself unless BDG and Hera swing around and that's...kind of scary. That's uncharted territory for me. There's always been, you know...someone.
Not that I don't think I can handle it. I can. But I think I'm just treading water here out of nothing more than nerves and fear. And, unless something big happens here, I'm not really going to be able to make excuses to myself about it anymore.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Summer's in a weird place right now. She doesn't fit who she was in canon anymore; she's a perpetual high school student, what do you do with that when they're no longer in high school? She doesn't fit in with her age group anymore; she's ready to move into the "adult" world, but she's still kind of a kid. So it's been really difficult working with that. Teaching "old farts" kind of flopped, so I'm hoping she might fit better if she gets the chance to teach "young farts," but she and I are on the same page: unless something kind of big happens next semester, she might just be ready to ship off into her space jello future.
What's coming up for you? There's hope, though! Summer's at that spot right now where I was with both Rosa and Sidon last app period, where I was on the brink of sending them off or dropping them, only to have them really hit their stride in the next session that made me really, really really grateful I didn't act rashly and just drop them, because they've had some of the best months. Perhaps it's Summer's turn to hit that lull and then something unexpected really brings her character out.
I kind of blame canon for this. We still don't know when new Rick and Morty is coming out, so everything's just so stagnant, there's no energy in the fandom, and it's reflecting in my playing of her. I hope teaching a class that taps into her canon helps with that, but, I mean. Come on. In the time between seasons of her canon, I'll have one of my other canons not only finish a season, but also get canceled by its network, picked up by another network, and will start its new season before we even have a date for the next season of a show that's been promised for more than a year now? ARRG. (Sorry for squeezing a little OOC rant in there, it's been bugging me for a while and I am not above hijacking memes to let out my frustration, lol).
Who knows, maybe I might even have new canon by the end the semester. It's a mystery. And so is whatever the hell I'm going to do about this girl. XD
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Oh, god, everyone. I've had fun having her catch up with old school friends, and making new town friends, but I've been terrible about just sticking with it, because she's just awkward and everyone else is more demanding of my attention these days, anyway. SIGH.

How are you feeling right now? Pretty good! Nothing to complain about, at any rate, and that's better than most.
What's going on for you at the present time? Settled in nicely to my life here on the island, I'd say. Shop's going well, good steady stream of business keeping me in the monies. I've got a class I enjoy teaching where I'm even able to learn some new things myself. Good friends, good apprentice, enough to keep me busy and inspired. This is what I imagined when I first packed up and moved out here, so I'm feeling pretty glad I stuck with it until I got there!
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I'd really like to just keep kindling Amaya friendships and relationships with people, slowly warm up to the fact that, no, she doesn't really get close to people, but she's a really solid, dependable friend and works really well with others. Maybe bring in some more KQ fun here and there, but she's reached a nice comfortable staple level.
...I still wouldn't be opposed to shaking things up a bit for her, either, if the occasion arises.
What's coming up for you? Nothing much! I'm eyeing a potential canon-mate for her, but I think I'll be putting her off for a while after some careful consideration. Still six days left, though, so who knows?
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? I think I'm running out of Shannon's characters who needs swords, soooooo.....anyone need weapons? Yes? Yes?? But she's always just so comfortable with nearly everyone I throw her at, so I just need to do more of that, too.

What's going on for you at the present time? Nothing much. Things are...surprisingly more peaceful around here, now that there's a lot less complaining and whining going on in my life.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I haven't even had the chance to do much with it yet, but I am ridiculously excited about and already having too much fun playing "post-break-up" Rosa in this setting.
What's coming up for you? NEW CANON JANUARY 10TH, BITCHES!!!! I hear there's gonna be stuff about Rosa's relationship with her mom since coming out to her family, so I. Am. Stoked. I had so much fun trying to weave canon into Fandom with the last semester, so this is gonna be good.

How are you feeling right now? It's too quiet these days. I don't trust it.
What's going on for you at the present time? Starting to come to terms with the whole 'anti-Empire movement' thing and how this is pretty much my life now. Getting into trouble back home, because what is back home even for if not for trouble?
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Really, that slow transition from Space Trash to Space Dad is ongoing, and I kind of love every little step and misstep on the way there. I want EVERY DAD OPPORTUNITY for this guy right here, because... he'll be convinced he's terrible at it, but that isn't going to stop him from dadding anyway.
What's coming up for you? Someday, in the far, far future, canon. In the meantime we gotta pick up Zeb, and then Sabine, but there's still... like god, we're coming on four years to get that done. It was six last time I checked so I take it back, I'm actually terrified.

How are you feeling right now? Calm!
What's going on for you at the present time? I mean, my family is going to want me coming home for Christmas, but I came home for Thanksgiving and they almost threatened to pull me from the school after the whole aftermath of the being a crab and getting arrested and letting a fifteen-year-old tattoo me? And Sidon gave me that invitation so I'm going to have to take him up on that. And I have an employee, I guess, who keeps trying to summon demons or something? I'm going to have to handle that, because... nooooo that's not a great idea, no matter how cute they've been so far.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? How does a kid who really never took to the living handle growing up in a world where the living really don't give a crap about what he can see? Fandom's been really good for him, he's not some freak and he's not some big hero either, he's just him, and being the quiet kind of nerdy kid while he still can is kind of my favourite thing about playing him right now anyway.
What's coming up for you? Just a trip to Hyrule with Sidon, nothing big here. That said, if there is any potential whatsoever for trauma in the upcoming BDE, this kid has gotten off pretty lightly in BDEs past... maybe it's his time.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Ah, jeeze, the list goes on forever. Do you have some interest in the dead, in magic, in small dorky kids with an affinity for comic books or bad zombie movies? How are you feeling right now? Slightly inconvenienced.
What's going on for you at the present time? Still stranded on Earth. Keeping busy with a handful of jobs mostly for the sake of my own sanity, but so help me I'm going to have to actually address the fact that I'm trapped here for no apparent reason sooner or later.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? He's a wee baby warlock who still hasn't figured out the first thing about his patron and who hasn't had much of a chance to play with his powers. I would love some kind of big nasty encounter at some point so he can start having those inconvenient patron dreams - it'll make him have to actually face what happened before he wound up here, for a start. It'll be a while before he goes wading into canon, because THAT is a rollercoaster ride all on its own, but someday I'm going to have to figure out how to make that happen.
What's coming up for you? Eh, teaching again next semester. No big immediate plans set in concrete just yet.
