FINALLY giving me new canon again.

... Nothing I can use, but I'll take what I can get and just complain quietly about their awful release schedule otherwise.

OKAY SO I went to SDCC and got into the Good Place panel and right before that was Steven Universe, a show I have not seen and know only through FH. And they showed the whole premiere episode, whatever first aired after July of 2018. Let me tell you, as first episodes go, that was not a good one to start with?

TRUE STORY I actually loathed the series something horrible and resisted it for a full year until I was basically hog-tied by animators and made to watch an episode well into the first season, called Jail Break. Then I watched a few more from there. And then I backtracked and did the slog through the first episodes for context.

The first episodes are horrible and I want to pitch Steven out a window a lot. It improves a lot, as does he, eventually.
