I can't with people anymore so I'm posting a meme. We last did this in June but I maybe went way back to get some old questions so there.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

First the classic: who's your easiest to play these days and why?

Right now Lucille, she's the only one around, but she's also got easier to play lately. It used to be Seivarden, so I'm curious what it will be like to play her when she gets back.

I'm having fun with Lucille as she's post canon and I get to explore what happens when her previous goals in life are no longer relevant.

Seivarden is just an annoying, vulnerable mess, and that's fun, although she'll have changed a bit when she gets back.

Who's your hardest to play and why?

Breq, although she's not around right now anyway. Mostly because her main motivation was impossible to deal with on island, I think.

How do you know when it's time to drop a character?

When I've exhausted their emotional arc and then spent like, a few years watching myself slowly play them less and less... not that I drop much anyway.

Do you tend to play with or without canonmates? Why or why not?

[crimson_sister]

I like canonmates but I often choose canons not man are interested in. I'm ok with that though.

Are there particular types of canons you gravitate towards?

I tend to like slightly-offbeat-versions of familiar things. See also: satire of superhero movies.

Do you prefer pre-, post-, or mid-canon?

[knife_bender]

Depends on the character and canon. I think it would be fun to put Diego through canon and bring in FH people for it. Silver? Absolutely not, season four wrecks him and everyone he comes in contact with. I pulled him mid-canon 'cause I wanted him without his leg and I had a canon excuse to have him go missing. And he will forever stay missing unless I had a very good reason to put him through season four.

Do you read your canon's supplemental material?

I always say I won't, play for a few months, do it anyway, and then agonize about random bits of Jossing.

What are your favorite friendships/relationships in game? Yours and/or anyone else's.

[crimson_sister]

There are a lot of them, of course, but my own two favourites right now are Lucille and Tisarwat, and Seivarden and Summer because it was so unexpected and was surprisingly good for Seivarden.

What do you think your writing tells are?

How do you approach ships? Is it all organic or do you plan them out? Has your approach changed over time?

They usually start off organic, but I prefer to try to check if we're on the same page.

Tell me a story of how you figured out your character liked someone.

During the Umbridgeverse BDE, Kitty was running a speakeasy where Clint and Isabel were flirting, and as I was reading I was like "Oh she wouldn't be happy about thi- ohhhhh."

Everyone else has kind of been an ongoing thing where it just happened over time.

Are there any other PBs you think would work for your characters?

Someone in another RP was using Shelley Hennig for Kitty way back when, and I was kind of kicking myself for not finding her first.

And then it turns out we ended up using her for adult Lexi.

Have you ever apped a character on a whim? How'd that work out?

Most of the time, it does not work out at all, hi Owen.

But I apped Dante after playing and replaying DmC way too many times in the space of a few weeks and you know what? Never been happier with a decision.

Have you ever done research to play a character?

You do not know how many times I have to look up a word to see if it existed in 1715.

Are there any characters you haven't apped yet but who've stuck in your brain for a long time anyway?

I've had one student app that I'm currently debating on applying now or waiting until Eleanor graduates.

Are there any events/BDEs/plots you missed and you wish you got a chance to do it?

All the BDEs I missed. Which is a lot of them. So many. I always thought it was too bad Stark wasn't around for the Plague one.

Is there anything you can't believe you've never done IG yet? (Gremlin bites, turning into an animal, etc?)

I think I had 1 gremlin bite once. Maybe.

I've never turned anyone into an animal.

Never had anyone do radio.

If you could have a drink with any one character in game, past or present, who would it be?

Are there any themes or quirks you find running through your pool of characters?

[crimson_sister]

This doesn't apply to all my characters, but I do like characters a lot of people don't get along with.

Do you incorporate other players into your canon catchups?

[my_own_advocate]

I hate doing canon-catchups that don't involve other people. Unless there's some repercussions involved with the other characters in their lives, what's the point?

Have you been surprised by where any of your characters have ended up?

[crimson_sister]

All of them.

[throughaphase]

What's your favorite plot that you've run?

I am very, very proud of when I sent Katniss through the Hunger Games and everyone holed up in Anakin's office to watch. Like, I go back and reread that and cry all the time. (Ghanima saying the prayer for fallen warriors and Luke talking about Elysium both always get me.)

Do you RP smut? Handwave? FTB?

That depends on the character. I'm happy to write smut for Seivarden, I don't think I will for Lucille unless things change a lot. (And no smut possibilities for Breq ever).

Have you ever established something in game that canon later confirmed?

[crimson_sister]

Not really, but it still amuses me that Jessica Chastain said in an interview that she played Lucille being more interested in women after I had been considering that.

Have you ever felt like you've dropped a character too soon?

[defenderofdesmoines]

I miss all three of my girls I was playing when I left the game five years ago. It's not really a 'dropped too soon,' situation, since I really needed to take the break, but about once a week I have a moment where I'm like 'could I just bring them all back?' and talk myself out of it since it wouldn't be the same, anyway.
