Meme: Reverse questions

I want a meme. We haven't done this one since September.

Tag in with your characters and then people will comment asking the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR CHARACTERS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this character?", "How do you channel them?", etc).

Don't forget to check back to see who else has pinged in for questions!

Okay, 'what draws you to your characters' is maybe a cliche question, but you've always been drawn to the often-uncommunicative or difficult specifically. What is it about them that makes you want to play them, even though it can be hard?"

It's not really an aspect I've thought much about, because even though that's probably a long-standing trend with my characters, it's not a conscious part of the character-picking process.

But I guess I'm intrigued by how these kinds of characters navigate the world, because many of them come with very specific viewpoints, either culturally or for more personal reasons. Feeling out their internal logic gives me something to grab onto and keep myself interested in exploring them, even when many of them are so unyielding and stubborn sometimes that they keep shooting themselves in the foot or just generally making things harder for themselves than they would have to be.

Also there's a joy in taking difficult characters and finding the moments where they're not, where they start to open up and show the layers underneath. Because layers, in general, is where it's all at for me in RP.
