With outgoing seniors, open applications and whatnot, this seemed like a good one. We last did this in in December.

What new townsfolk do you want to see in Fandom? What new students do you want to show up and why? What new teachers and classes do you want to see? Who would you like to see from your own canon?

AND, if you're looking to app but don't know who, drop a comment with any specifics (student/teacher/townie, tropes you'd like to try, etc) and let other people suggest characters, or fandoms they'd like to see you try, or types of characters you could rock. We're here to help each other!

I am super open to suggestions for apps. It was 7 years between my last student and my current one, so guidance in THAT area would be welcome.

Although I've literally never apped a new adult character, either, so...

I need a new student. I am totally blank on ideas. Suggestions? All my previous students have been technically adult in their culture, so apparently that's my type? And I like someone a little different, with powers or abilities or just a really different outlook.

Sadly I don't have any suggestions, but I think it would be so much fun with someone for Travis to constantly rescue.

I probably won't app anyone this time around, but I am looking for a potential student to play. I've been thinking of someone sweet and a bit naive, but I also do like characters who don't get along with people so that always works too. I'm open to discover new canons, as long as it's not something as complex like Marvel universe or similar.

Have you seen Kipo, on Netflix? Kipo herself = sweet and a bit naive, but very smart and with powers! Alternately, Wolf is very prickly and cynical.

I have maybe been pondering/debating apping either of them myself, but won't be this time around, so.

I tried to come up with a way to app Janet from The Good Place, but I couldn't think of a way to make her work in Fandom. If you do, please app her.

I actually have considered Janet as a character! But I did not app her as I was already playing Eleanor.

Perhaps this will help:

Janet would make an excellent teacher in almost any subject. Since she could summon anything she would make an excellent bartender or employee in a customer service situation.

I you were thinking of a student you could pick a point after canon where she got a similar offer as Michael to live on Earth as a mortal. She could then start off with her having nerfed powers to make it easier or whatever.

True! I thought of that back when we had the Assemblies and they did the trolley project. And then I just handwaved her abilities because Fandom. So there's options on how to do it.

But Janet just saying sad "Bings" is always adorable.

Her having to deal with nerfed powers would be a fun thing to play with, to see her get used to it.

There can be no Janet without 'bings' even sad ones.
