Meme: Reverse Questions with a Twist

I've already run out of work to do today. So, meme. Last we did this was November.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Check in throughout the day to add questions/answer questions that have been added!

Classic one first: who's your easiest to play these days, and why?

Lucifer, because I know him so well at this point and he's got that combination of comedy and emotional and psychological issues that I know and love. But Margo's been doing better - I just need to remember to tag her into the things to talk to the characters I want her to tag into and talk to more often, SIGH.

Is there anything in particular that you'd like to see more of in the game as a whole?

More one-day/one-weekend events. I feel like there's been a rash of longer, week-long things, and I really love things like random icon day where the chaos only lasts a day or two and then we all have to get back to normal.

Also: more parties. Literally any excuse for a party.

I think my ability to play students is gone, but part of me still wants to play Zagreus from Hades as a student who just dies at the end of every semester and comes back.

I also keep toying with the thought of bringing either Aloy or Cassandra back. But I think at the moment I'm good.

I'm apparently an Erin stan because I looooove Annie/Diego and Annie/Wanda (that one isn't shippy but it would be hot if it was) do much.

And I love Wanda's interactions with Steve and Bucky. Both so awkward in different ways.

Do you 'fix' canon in your catchups? Do you have plans for anything you might tweak if/when you take your character through their canon?

I generally feel more comfortable staying canon compliant, but if it's something really egregious - the ending of Magicians season 4 or Lucifer season 6 - I push myself past that and try to fix that.

I have had ideas percolating about the latter for a while now but I'm glad I don't have to hammer them down yet.

I would not recommend Lucifer to anyone at this particular juncture.

But Magicians is the perfect blend of comedy and edgy angst and involves a bunch of messy grad students being messy grad students in the face of magic and fae and not!Narnia and it's beautiful and crappy and messy and fucking hilarious and often unpredictable so I still heartily recommend it. (Except for the ending of season 4.)

I'm a complete sad sack for 'life sucks and is traumatizing but you can make something beautiful out of it if you try' stories, though, so YMMV.

(And does it really need anything going for it beyond Eliot and Margo, anyway?)

Tell me about a favorite scene of yours and why you loved playing it/going back to reread it/etc.

I said this last time this meme went up, but I'm a really big fan of both of Annie and Diego's two big fights during the TUA season 1 catchup. It's almost not even accurate to call them fights, because they're more like heated discussions that end up with everyone understanding each other. On a similar shippy-but-difficult thing note, I'm also really proud of the super-uncomfortable scene after Annie's assault, and of their discussion after Believe Expo.

In other ship news, this is a little weird but I like rereading three minute dates! Irene and Amaya's whole thing came out of a three minute date, and Irene and Margo went on what I would totally characterize as my most interesting 3MD in recent memory last fall.

I also reread a lot of party threads because it's like a snack mix and you get a little bit of everything. I've reread both Christmas ragers, this past NYE and Irene's Valentine's party in recent memory. It's just fun to revisit those.

I enjoy reading all of them but I can't play OMWF to save my life. I'll just read everybody else.

I doooooo. I think I'm pretty good at it. Which is a weird thing to be good at.

Ever have a moment where you were watching or reading something and went, "Yep, I'm apping them"? Who was it and what made you want to app that character right then?

Buck I instantly loved after five minutes with him on screen. I always liked Wanda in the MCU but didn't decide to app until after the Previously On... episode of Wandavision when I felt like I had enough about her/her powers to write an app on.

Wanda's killed so many people. Sooooooo many. And will probably do it again.

No one, really. I have fewer reasons to bring Jaina and Sia out from alumniland but they're super easy when I do.

Not really! Like I feel bad for characters but I don't take it with me outside of the game. I've got enough problems irl.

I did like being able to make Wanda sad (more sad) over AU Kids, especially since it seems to be lining up with the new movie pretty well.

I'm an either/or person! Like interacting with my canonmates but I'm also a controlling person so also enjoy playing all my NPCs lol.

Wanda: Exaggerated sense of vengeance, and when she gets upset she takes it...just a bit too far.

Diego: Temper. Stubborn. Impulsive.

Buck: Impulsive, with little regard for his own safety.

I do! I've got Annie involved in TUA and have vague plans to involve people in Multiverse of Madness if I can wing it.

Margo and Irene are hot. Is that shallow of me? Yes. Do I care? No.

Diego: As someone with a lot of siblings (not 6, but still), I love playing out the sibling aspect of his canon.

Buck: Sometimes you just have to play a total dumbass. It's good for the soul.

Wanda: Being part of such a big, ongoing, canon is intimidating but it's so much fun when everyone else in the world (it seems like) is getting excited for your canon.
