It's my WFH day so that means I get to post a meme. We haven't done this one since September

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow students, teachers, townies, alumni and expatriates, and they will answer them. These are IC questions and IC answers and should be truthful! They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course.

So, for example, I'd ping in with a question like 'Are you in love? If so, with who? If not, why not?' And people ping in under me and answer that question. There's no latesies on this, because of the format, so people can ping in at their leisure. And ANYONE can ask questions!

What do you look for in a significant other?

You know, it's funny. What do I look for? Stability, kindness, empathy, support. Someone who can stick right by my side, no matter how weird it gets. Someone I can count on as a partner. A complementary piece.

What do I actually find attractive? Big hair, protectiveness towards the vulnerable/weak, bravery, attention to detail.

Trust, the ability to give me space when I need it, someone who enjoys going through with a bad idea on occasion.

What I might want in a partner's never really been something I thought would matter, much. I just knew I was supposed to be with someone with a strong faith in God who could provide for a family. Things like kindness or a sense of humor or an adventurous spirit and an open mind were considered nice traits to have, but not important.

But they are, now.

Trust, open communication, mutual partnership in just about every way I can get it, and -- let's be honest -- good looks.

Someone kind, not judgemental, able to see people for what they are below the surface, compassionate and fun, and someone who likes to learn new things even if it is a little uncomfortable or challenging at times.

I generally don't look for them. I'm not an especially good girlfriend.

Steven: Good heart. Curiosity. Intelligence. Humor. Being a romantic doesn't hurt.

Well, they would have to be smart and clever, with a real love for adventure! And they have to have a real appreciation for a good pun, obviously, and care about animals, especially Triumph, that's definitely a bonus! Things could probably get real awkward if they were, you know, allergic or something...

You know, I've never really been much of a relationships kind of guy. Sure, I figured I'd probably settle down eventually, with some girl from one of the minor Lucian houses that was willing or, even better, eager, but more out of duty than anything else. Gotta continue that Amicitia line, you know? Provide the next shield for the next King of Lucis...

...but, obviously, that's not really a concern anymore.

So honestly? I kind of like what me and Iggy got going on right now. It's comfortable, familiar, casual; our relationship is build on a well-earned trust and respect for each other, an unspoken understanding and an unshakable bond through shared trauma.

Plus, he feeds me, so you know, that's a pretty big plus right there...
