MEME: Anon Love

It's been almost exactly 6 months since we last did this, and I've had my first good night's sleep in weeks. Time for the love meme!

1. Make a comment to this post with the name of your character/s.
2. Go through and leave anonymous comments in other characters' threads saying something nice about them. (This can be about the character or how they're played, or even something nice about the player; any of this is acceptable as long as they're nice things.)
3. Read the comments your characters get and feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Reading Summer's bar posts is always a fun treat for me during the week. I'm always amazed of the jello shots you come up with and find to bring to the island and keep it original every week.

Likewise seeing Summer constantly concerned about Apu's sanity and antics in her T&C posts always amuses me.

If you send her off for a bit like you mentioned in another MEME post I will be sad to see her go and hope you bring her back soon.

What can I say about Summer? What an amazing job you do with her. You find a way to make her fit in any situation without changing who she is. She can do anything and be anything and still not seem out of character.

My favorite bartender FOREVER. And I appreciate how you're always up for anything with her. I know I can ping you any time all 'hey can Summer show up for x' and we'll have good thread with some depth and some snark. And I know it's an issue for you that she's growing past her animated self but I think that also means you're giving the care, attention, and opportunities canon refuses to, and that's awesome.

Having Summer be around for so long, from student to established adult on the island means it's so easy to trace her trajectory of growth and see just how much she's undergone. And yet, she doesn't feel like you've accidentally aged her to be much more adult than she should be - she's still very early-to-mid-20s, still making mistakes, still learning about who she is, even while owning and running a million businesses. She feels real, which isn't something I would ever have said a character from Rick and Morty could be - and the fact that she can feel real, but also still grounded in her canon (the canon she is outgrowing) is impressive and a testament to your skill.
