MEME: Anon Love

It's been almost exactly 6 months since we last did this, and I've had my first good night's sleep in weeks. Time for the love meme!

1. Make a comment to this post with the name of your character/s.
2. Go through and leave anonymous comments in other characters' threads saying something nice about them. (This can be about the character or how they're played, or even something nice about the player; any of this is acceptable as long as they're nice things.)
3. Read the comments your characters get and feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

I have a real soft spot for characters with a unique dialogue voice. I've only watched clips of the show, but when I read Watts I hear that voice perfectly in my head. And the same goes for his body language. It takes writing skill to nail that down!

And he and Steven are so sweet. I appreciate the warm fuzzies on my feed.

You really do a wonderful job of translating Watts' physicality and voice patterns into prose. I can see and hear him in my mind as I read what you have written. And, of course, he and Steven are wonderful.

Agreed with the others on Watts feeling very accurate to canon! Having read your portrayal prior to seeing any show clips, the experience of watching them for the first time was a very 'oh this exactly what I was picturing!' sort of an experience, so kudos!

Watts has his quirks and eccentricities, but they never stand in the way of his characterization. More than that, they catch you off-guard for other things in a way I find fascinating.

At first, you think he's a weird little gremlin, with his hat on a plant and eating someone else's leftover bagel. But then you get his with his formal manners and quiet boundaries, which changes your perceptions again. And then you see the way he cares about people (Steven, yes, but the whole Midnight crew) and the quiet way he caretakes, and that changes it yet AGAIN. Such steady but rock solid character building.
