Oh my god I'm having the worst work week and my day blew up, please give me something to read. We did this last in May but I came up with a bunch of new questions because I'm a dork who does that.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.


Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Check in throughout the day to add questions/answer questions that have been added!

Depends on how I feel about the canon ship. I'm a huge Harley/Ivy shipper, so I'm trying to keep Pam's current canon romance story intact. I really like Atton/Exile as well, so I played that out till the end. I hate Lucifer/Chloe, so I broke that up. But I don't ever want to downplay what a character feels about a canon romantic partner, either. That just feels tacky. So I find ways to work it in even when I break them up.

Stuff that made me smile or gave me a big emotional charge. I reread the threads around Ender and Ben getting together about a million times, for instance.

I found out Elaine stole one of my Deadpool icons, and got curious enough to join.

Probably killing off the Exile for Atton. I didn't strictly need to do it, since her death happened in a particularly stupid tie-in book, but it was the cleanest way to divorce him from canon. I thought.

I gave him a decade's worth of extra trauma to work through instead!

Atton's, still. I'd feel weird doing it any other way at this point.

The trickiest part of bringing in a new character for me is always if they find a character relationship that really makes them come to life and enables me to work through the things about them that are most interesting to me.

The best thing about co-apping is that you don't need to worry/wonder if that'll happen for you. The worst thing is if you ultimately find out your visions for the characters and the ship aren't compatible.

I watched Lucifer season 6 once before I reluctantly rewatched it again earlier this month for a canon catchup. I am finding I erased most of it from my brain.

It is just. Just really bad.

I generally have a hard time noping out, though, because part of me will always freak out about not being Close To Canon. Even if - LIKE IN LUCIFER SEASON 6 - the writers are just retconning and contradicting their own shit all over.

When my current main character seems to be ambling towards the final resolution of all their issues, is usually the sweet spot. But I often get ahead of myself and app a character if I've just watched their canon and I am JUST EXCITE.

I try to avoid doing it whenever possible and stick to buying phones with hardware keyboards.

I really hate pinging on tiny phone internets, okay, I'd rather live with a laptop in my bag for the rest of my life.

I almost exclusively use the 'browse' function over keywords, which always turns into a pain in the ass when I run out of paid time and it's not working anymore.

I also blatantly have favorite icons for particular scenarios (and then get annoyed with myself when a thread is just 75% my favorites recycled).

Find a month I can actually catch my breath in so I can stop running on RP survival mode.

While Atton will always be my baby, I think Dante wins just in terms of being a character I was absolutely obsessed with who found his place really easily and wound up slotting into so many complicated character arcs, his own and everyone else's.

Genuinely miss that period of RP, it was really rewarding.

Ships tend to be a central part of a lot of character arcs, but sometimes it just doesn't happen for a character. How do you handle it?

Always Steven. He's got an innate desire to want to interact with people and like them so that makes him easy to ping with even when I'm not at my best.

Marc. His default motivation is to not interact with people, so there's always the effort to come up with reasons why he would stay in a scene instead of going deuces and leaving. It's gotten better now that he's got things and people on the island he considers under his watch, even if he won't admit to himself that's what they are. But still takes more lifting on my part than Steven does.

First tell real life to stop being such a pain. I'd love to get them out more and there's so much stuff I'd like to try with them that I can't make happen (like supper club, which keeps being on my "Okay *this* week - shit it's already passed" list).

But in theory there's always ye olde Perk post, or even just OOCly asking somebody if they want to try to do something.

Anything more than the bare bones basics for Egypt for Steven. Weapons and military stuff for Marc. Though at least in Marc's case I can crib notes from the same comics the show used for inspiration.

Lotta options about vegan food for sure. Even as I'm amazed that I don't start getting fed things about being vegan given how often I have to google.

I was lucky in that canon left me in a good spot where it made sense that Marc and Layla would at the very least be on a break as they both figured out how they wanted to handle things. This left me with the option that if Marc ended up vibing with someone in Fandom that was great, if not no big whoop.

In general unless it's an egregiously bad canon ship (*cough* Watts/Jack *cough*) I like to at least show respect to the canon relationship, even if the character moves on once you start writing them. You never want to do that fanfic thing of throwing a canon love of their life aside like trash just b/c it's not your OTP, yanno? At least put the work in to show why they moved in.

Sweet ones that make my heart happy. The game is my distraction from *gestures at real life on a personal and global scale* all that. If I reread I'm topping off on the good stuff.
