I would say "Several Bits" for One Piece rather then Single Doubloon.

Which pioneered the "one 20 min fight that stretches across five or more episodes as it has to cycle around and get reactions from everybody who's looking on which is usually anywhere from 2 people to the who damn cast on every freaking hit." genre :)

Outuyoshi (Inuyasha) - Where fights can also span across an intire half a season but the commentary is religated to people screaming eachother's names from the sideline. (And sitting.)

Oh, man, KirinCube? Don't forget the "I'm down but I'm not really defeated because I was holding back and now I'm letting loose with my super-attack which will knock you down but not completely defeat you because I'm magnanimus like that and now I will spend 5 minutes powering up so I can get you with my complete super attack and then maybe in two or thee eps I'll finally call on my very last reserves of strenth and get around to unleashing my ULLLLTTTTIIMAAAAAATE ATTTAAAAAAAAAACK" part of the genre. So important, that!

I just went with "neko" because it's "cat" and "inu" is dog, but In/Out works, heh. I'm getting so fed up with the writers of Inu Yasha dragging everything out so long that I've given up watching it. Oh, and hello, Kagome? YOU HAVE A BOW AND ARROW. USE THEM. PLEASE.

Personally, I'd really want to see Literacy or Death. Hee!

Oh yeah. That's entertainment.

Yeah, the only Japanese I know is from the sushi bar. I remember when I was playing .hack with subtitles on and I walked up to a golden egg. When it said it's name (which is what eggs do in that game), I went "Tamago? ... That means EGG!!!" I was so damn proud of myself. Nerd.

Maybe Kagome is just really thrifty? I mean, they are in feudal Japan or where ever. It's not like she can just crawl back up a well to modern day any time she wants and buy some arrows from a sporting goods store and oh maybe som DAMN PANTS!

But ALL 15-year-old anime chicks are hussies! That's why it's so astonishing that Kiki's so very... inexperienced. Heh. The thing is, Kagome used to be a bit more badass with her arrows, until they brought Sango in to be the brave female type - but Kagome still just stands around saying, "*gasp!* Inu Yasha!" when he's fighting Neraku...in spite of the fact that Kagome's arrows were the most effective at injuring him. Yeeeeeah. Makes sense. It's still a cute show, but it was stuff like that that was starting to annoy me.

I know almost no Japanese, just single words I've picked up here and there. My friend told me that "inu" means 'dog,' and I know that the little waving cat figurines are called "maneki neko" (lucky cats). I think I know maybe 5 other words and that's it!
