Now Taking Applications: Clinic Staff
With the impending departure of our town and school clinic doctors, we're now taking applications for replacement clinic staff.
A note about how this will work:in order to encourage townie/student interaction, the town clinic will be re-merged into the school clinic and open to the entire town. [This part on hold due to information we just received, until a few things get cleared up.] Also in order to help encourage interaction, we will be taking 4 or 5 new clinic physicians, one of whom will be designated head physician and therefore in charge of organizing a schedule and rotation for staff. This does not apply to those students who are currently working at the clinic, or the town clinic staff. None of you are fired, though some of you might have a slightly longer commute to work now. *g* We've already received two applications for clinic staff, and those will be included for consideration.
Applications will be open through next Sunday, February 4. New players are highly encouraged to apply.

When the decision was made to withdraw from the game it was made due to the fact that the direction we wanted to take our characters was not the same direction the game was going. There was no animosity in the decision, simply a realization that we are apples and oranges and rather than making it a problem we chose to take our leave.
We devised IG storylines for the exit, getting players involved yet politely keeping it away from the main comms so that players who did not wish to be touched by the story arcs need not have thier own game fun interupted. We contacted the admins with a polite e-mail outlining our intentions and thanking Fandom High for the memories.
How were we treated? No return e-mail. No contact from Admin at all and now a post without any discussion to simply replace us. No touch on how to do this smoothly, no dialogue to find out a good way to bring in SLs, introduce the new clinic staff, give them a good launch and a smooth transition for all.

Nothing.
No e-mails, no contact of any sort. Of course it was expected that there would be replacements, that only makes sense but we treated Admin like adults and with respect and were effectively disrespected and held out as worthless in return.
The plan was to leave the comm and transfer it over to the new maintainers. That was until we were effectively tossed out with the trash.
