OOC: The School Production

So, yes. Because YOU wanted it!

Please, if you talk about Shakespeare in relation to the play, remember to not refer to Hamlet or MacBeth as fictional works.

But anyways, back to the matter at hand. I need volunteers. Those suckers two lucky people who got roped into student directoring will be involved with being in charge of the IC directoring type stuff, and such.

However, I need faculty volunteers for the various other duties, such as set building, other tech work, student wrangling, etcetera. Dream has already volunteered, but the more the merrier, I say.

As for students and casting, there obviously will be the auditions this weekend, but I'd like anyone who wants their character roped into being involved, here is where to sign up, as well.

The basic idea for me is to be as uninvolved as possible, other than casting. You people will bring the magic and the crazy and the funny. I merely give you the canvas with which to work.

EDIT: Oh, the current plan is for the show to occur on March 18th, huzzah!

Dream is probably best-suited to face-palming a whole lot technical oversight, I guess? But, really, he can be put wherever he's most needed.

Angela won't audition but will help with backstage stuff.

Sam won't audition either, but could probably be coerced/volunteered into doing set building, lighting, special effects, or stage managing.

Lorelai can help with costumes... it's a canon thing for her.

I'm tempted to have V audition... but she's already got a lot on her plate.

And I'm *really* tempted to have Allie roped into it because she needs to get involved more... but I need to check on the timing of something else first...

Edward completely can be roped into set building. He's good at making things. And needs more interaction.

*begins 'Zero for Puck' campaign immediately*

Grissom can totally help out, just rope him into whatever job needs filling and I can work with it.

Han can totally be roped into being cast as something. He'll grumble a lot, but he'll do it.

Also? Good for lifting heavy objects.

I believe Xander is being evilly coerced by a coffee addict outside forces, though I have no idea yet into which aspect of the production.

After the pageant Cal is going run screaming from the very idea of the play, but I'm totally prepared to have her do something.

Alanna might tag along to watch others try out and get roped in herself.

Parker could get roped in if others do, I'd love to have her audition. IF you need an assistant faculty type, Susan doesn't really have enough to do.

RC: Anything you need. Meglomania? Building stuff? Organizing? Yup. I can figure out a reason for her to volunteer.
Lee: Rope him in. Plz.

Rope Draco in. My boy was born for the stage. Or not. But still, he's in.

Mac's good for dragging into the technical side of things lighting, sound, backstage, that kinda thing. Acting would be her idea of hell... hee. *considers being evil and getting her on stage*
