We've got a few things to announce!

Firstly, the first floor dorm renovations are now complete. Feel free to use the new facilities starting now. :)

Secondly, we'll be having some fun with the free time on Friday afternoons. Starting this week - then continuing biweekly - there will be staff meetings held in the fandom_lounge community. It'll be a post put up by one of the IC admins where teachers will be expected to show up, talk about work, students, upcoming events, and any problems with their jobs. There will be punch and pie. Hopefully neither punches nor pies will be thrown.

Every other week, the administration will be holding school assemblies. These will take place in the school auditorium and feature whatever kind of insanity we can come up with. Some weeks we'll have the opportunity for people to app a guest character, some weeks we'll have guests prearranged among the admin team, some weeks there will be no guests at all, and some weeks we'll do something a bit more... festive. Think the Friday Events from this summer adapted for the stage. Next week's theme? Motivational speakers.

We'll let you know stuff that you need to know for any of these events ahead of time.

so students can put their own toys (motorcycles, bikes, scooters, gocarts, horsies) in the First Floor starting now? :D

Horses go in the stables, which are separate by near the dorms. Go karts are probably still a little too large, so they'll need to be stored elsewhere. But motorcycles, bikes, and scooters are all good.

Hey there, quick question!

I went back and checked on Friday the 22nd and didn't see the post for the staff meeting in the lounge. Did that idea get moved somewhere else or is it not going to go forward?

Your admins are forgetful schmucks at times. Last Friday was one of those times and we completely forgot to put up a post. We'll still be doing the staff meetings when we remember, though. :)
