Hey everyone. We just have a few quick things for you lovely people if you would be so kind to read.

*Next Saturday, October 28, we will be holding an open forum. We'll have some stuff to talk about and if you have stuff to talk about with us, we'll be happy to talk. About stuff.

*Now that we've had some new people around these parts for a while, we thought it would be a good idea to blatantly steal from the kind of OOC posts that went nigh-unchecked early last year and do a little bit of a getting to know you in the comments. A lot of us know each other OOCly to at least some degree but it's always nice to reach out and connect in a place where we can all mock you for liking Team Knight Rider or something. This is completely voluntary and hopefully a good way to bond OOCly. Also, it never hurts to get a new headcount on how many guys there are in the game. Right, men?

*On one final note, we wanted to take a moment and remind everyone that we, the admins, are addicts. Often friendly addicts, at least when caffeinated. We're on AIM and check our e-mail constantly, so if you ever have any issues - be they trying to pound a plot proposal into shape, or checking on when would be a good week to do something in game, or if you just want to check and see if the doctors have really let us out of the nuthouse - which I recognize may be questionable in my case after reading some of my posts, including this one - we're happy to talk.

Anything else to share?I try to keep my own political views out of Blair's mouth. What he believes and what I believe aren't necessarily the same thing. I work for my university as 'that girl who does stuff'. Which means that when I'm not monitoring the computer lab I'm taking pictures for the newspaper or working at the museum or proctoring history tests or sorting recyclables or in one sad occasion...holding an umbrella over a peeing dog. What that means for the game? I have a screwy schedule that changes all the time and I can't always plan ahead to be involved with things.

Also, I'm totally approachable to talk about anything and I check my email pretty regularly.

American Gothic (which again was once represented, in an NPC way, but is no longer). Diana Wynne Jones, though I like a number of her standalones more than I like the extended Chrestomanci 'verse. Are you a fan of any obscure fandoms not represented in game? I don't know if they're so much obscure, but... 24, Prison Break, Heroes, Vanished, Homicide, the Vorkosigan books, and a ton of wrongfully canceled shows. Also, I want a Lucas from seaQuest here. SO bad.

Want to share any of the characters you'd like to play in the future? Jaina Solo of Star Wars will so be happening. I do finally have a definite list of people I'll be apping, but I'm keeping the definite list kinda quietish.

Are you a fan of any obscure fandoms not represented in game? Yus. Asimov (anything), NGEvangelion, Ferris Beuller, Iria, Big Trouble in LIttle China (dude, it's like a movie of an RPG!), Tank Girl, Black HEaven, sprite webcomics, non-sprite webcomics, and stuff. Battle Angel Alita.


Want to share any of the characters you'd like to play in the future? Gendo or Shinji or Rei from NGE: Asshole or Emo or Wallflower. Alita from Battle Angel ALita/Gunnm. Anything else to share? Working on failing NaNo for the 4th time. This year, I don't even have a glimmer of a plot or any characters. I'm all about crossover fanfics, and one of my favorite authors is a self-inserter. My Buffy/Ranma fanfic died a horrible and well-deserved death. I'm missing (anime) Reactor this weekend, which means I'll be cold and running around in Michigan instead of drunk in Chicago.

Oh, and Fandom breaks my brain. And steers me to different series/fandoms.

haha I went to Reactor 3 years ago and really didn't like it. ANd I'm also busy as hell this weekend...

And dude. How can you have NOT seen the Tenchi series!? I have it all... All three.. (Muyo, Tokyo, Universe) hohohoho...

And Ranma killing vampires is just about THE funniest thing I've EVER concieved in my brain... Srsly. Buh buh! Really you should write an original story! What's the fun of Nano without the fun of awesome orginal character devolpment. As much as I love Ranma this is the first role play I've done using a pre-existing character. Dang, original characters are so much fun! You can do it!
