A few things, all good
Hey everyone. We just have a few quick things for you lovely people if you would be so kind to read.
*Next Saturday, October 28, we will be holding an open forum. We'll have some stuff to talk about and if you have stuff to talk about with us, we'll be happy to talk. About stuff.
*Now that we've had some new people around these parts for a while, we thought it would be a good idea to blatantly steal from the kind of OOC posts that went nigh-unchecked early last year and do a little bit of a getting to know you in the comments. A lot of us know each other OOCly to at least some degree but it's always nice to reach out and connect in a place where we can all mock you for liking Team Knight Rider or something. This is completely voluntary and hopefully a good way to bond OOCly. Also, it never hurts to get a new headcount on how many guys there are in the game. Right, men?
*On one final note, we wanted to take a moment and remind everyone that we, the admins, are addicts. Often friendly addicts, at least when caffeinated. We're on AIM and check our e-mail constantly, so if you ever have any issues - be they trying to pound a plot proposal into shape, or checking on when would be a good week to do something in game, or if you just want to check and see if the doctors have really let us out of the nuthouse - which I recognize may be questionable in my case after reading some of my posts, including this one - we're happy to talk.
Thank you for your time, now let's play ball! Or something.

Characters played: Skank Zero Hopeless-Savage, Miho, Z Delgado, and Yomiko Readman
AIM: Swerval Ziho
Are you a guy? Nope!
Are you playing any parents this weekend? Yep, Dirk Hopeless and Nikki Savage (with assistance) for Zero, and Captain America for Teddy Altman.
Are you a fan of any obscure fandoms not represented in game? Ultimates, Y: The Last Man, Fables, Top 10, Space: Above and Beyond. Among others.
Want to share any of the characters you'd like to play in the future? Students: Alex Drake - Power Rangers Time Force, Kate Bishop - Young Avengers, Steve Traynor - Top 10: The Forty-Niners
Teacher: Jean-Paul Beaubier - X-Men
Anything else to share? I...I...I liked Team Knight Rider. I'm a senior in college--an English major, and I live in Alabama. I get capslocky when excited.

...And I once wrote TKR slash fic. My shame is bigger than yours.

...was it any good?

No, but it did dwell on the awesomeness of Trek and Dante (I think that was the names? Clever guy who was Kyle in Roswell and his equally clever bike?)

I liked Team Knight Rider too.

But, dude, you've got Northstar there. He's the French-Canadian equivalent of Emma Frost.
Too much rock for one hand. Too much.

So whenever I need a completely random obscure fandom to reference, I name-check Team Knight Rider in his honor.
