Grown-ups and those who refuse to! Town Updates Post!

It's time to catch up with who has job openings and residence vacancies, where our new grown-ups have settled in or our old ones have shifted, and any changes to your business info you'd like to make!

Please take a look through the OCD threads within, and if it applies to you, let us know! If it doesn't, then these are not the boobs you were looking for. They can go on about their business. *waves hands*

(For people searching for jobs, just a quick run-down: Townies must have a business or work for someone else. Students may have a job, but aren't required to.)

Business owners, please ping in with the name of the business, what day(s) you have openings, and any special concerns or restrictions. (Only adults, only students, etc.)

Covent Garden Flowers has openings, sweet pea. For almost every day of the week, it seems. My floral minions have abandoned me!

I think one more person could come in handy in Strokes of Genius.

Alex has shifts available on Friday and Sunday. No special requirements, but the job will probably entail typing, working the phones, and optional legal research if the employee is into that kind of thing.

Tully's always looking for Keepers, Gift Shop people or tour guides. Or all of the above really.

The Arms Hotel has openings for front desk clerks on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Also, the employee who works on Thursday will be leaving at the end of the summer and is flexible for switching shifts with a new employee.

The only requirement is the ability to deal with a cranky chef. Ability to stay cal under pressure and good organization skills are also a plus. Mary is also interested in hiring more adults.

The Wed, Thurs, and Sun shifts are open at Android's Dungeon.

The clinic has openings on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Students and adults are both allowed to work at the clinic, so any kind of healers or future medical people are welcome. (Or you can app a new townie!)

The Photo Hut has openings for...any time you want to work, as the only not-NPC employee is currently in Vegas.

Sophie has openings! Her only assistant is off on walkabout. So please apply!

The Imperial Brim is hiring! Flexible hours and free hats! Available shifts are on Mondays and Wednesdays!

Businesses each have an individual listing in the Town Directory. If you own one and would like updates made to the entry (or if you're an employee at an NPC-owned business and see a change that needs to be made), drop us a line here and let us know!

(You can also drop a note directly into the individual entry for your business at any time, and we'll get that updated ASAP.)

From the so wrong journal, but there are a few rooms available at 33 Apocalypse Avenue if anyone wants to live with Jack O'Neill and Paige Matthews!

Mauvaise Chance Apartments has at least 5 rooms to rent (http://funnyways.livejournal.com/7964.html#cutid2).

MHA (http://flipped-god-off.livejournal.com/15191.html) has five rooms up for grabs as well!

Please ping in with the name(s) of your adult character(s) and their place of residence, IF it's not listed in the Town Address List, or is listed incorrectly. Pre-arranged addresses that haven't been moved into yet are fine to list here too. If it's a spot in one of the apartments or the hotel, you don't need the street address, just apartment/room number.

Yup! Considering we've had "under a bench, the park" listed as someone's address, Artie's porta-home is just fine.

Alysha Gale lives in the apartment above the empty business at 7 Black Swan Dr
Fred J. Dukes isn't listed as being at MCA anymore (still around?)
Jethro Gibbs isn't listed as being at 18 Apocalypse anymore (still around?)
Sophie Devereaux lives in the apartment above 4 Apocalypse Ave (not MCA anymore)
Marcus Wright lives at the Arms Hotel (Room 324)
Faith Lehane lives at the Arms Hotel (Room 326)

To soothe your OCD, all the 'still around?' people are still around! Not sure why Fred's not on the MCA list anymore as I don't think he's moved. Gibbs on the other hand is allll my fault; I accidentally deleted him from existence while making one of his housemates go away. And Damon's at the Arms Hotel but doesn't have a room number yet.

How crazy would be to pretend to build something on 27 Chimera Court? Might as well give Jane a house to decorate the hell out of it.

27 and 28 Chimera are actually where the Community Center is going to be built, so unfortunately they're not open for putting in a residence. (The map hasn't been updated yet, since stuff from this post might affect it.)

15 Griffin, however, marked as being Derek Morgan's residence, is now open, so if Jane wanted to buy that and decorate the hell out of it, that'd be fine! It used to be the Huntzberger Mansion, so it's pretty huge.
