Town Classifieds and Living Arrangements Update

It's time to catch up with who has job openings and residence vacancies, where our new grown-ups have settled in or our old ones have shifted, and any changes to your business info you'd like to make!

If your character owns or manages a business, please check out the entry for that business to make sure it's accurate, and if it's not, leave a comment directly on that business entry with the updated information. If you have a business that's not listed at all and you need us to make a new entry for it, go here to fill out a New Business form for it.

If you play any adult character, please take a look through the OCD threads below, and if any of them apply to you, ping in as needed!

Bonus Reminder: For everybody, students, teachers and townies alike, please take a moment to check out the user-info pages for your characters (yourjournalname.livejournal.com/profile) and make sure that they contain the required info listed here so that your fellow players can contact you if needed. Especially an e-mail address -- one that's not just journalname at livejournal dot com, because those only work if you have a paid account.

(For people searching for jobs, just a quick run-down: Townies must have a business or work for someone else. Students may have a job, but aren't required to, and teachers are welcome to pick up a job in town too, as long as the player has time to keep up with both responsibilities.)

Business owners, please ping in with the name of the business, what day(s) you have openings, and any special concerns or restrictions. (Only adults, only students, etc.)

Coyote Medicine and Stroke of Genius have job openings. Any day is available.

Restrictions: The Devil's Nest hires everyone but only over 21's can serve the booze.

Days Open: Every day but Monday and Wednesday.
Concerns: Nothing lasting! The guy doing the hiring is currently a bit out of sorts because of BDE stuff, but we can always work around that if you want the job omgrightnow or something.

Days Open: UPDATE: Saturday and Sunday are still available!
Concerns: None. No magical abilities required to work here whatsoever. :)

Please ping in with your address (or just the name of your building), number of living spaces you've got open, and any other pertinent info you'd like to add! This applies to people who have houses who'd welcome a roomie, as well as apartment/hotel managers.

The House of Ill-Repute has three rooms plus a basement ~~and Bond's tendency for wandering around shirtless when the temperature calls for it~~ going.

The MHA has nine apartments (http://crazy-prepared.livejournal.com/882.html) available, many of which are only slightly strange!

Please check the Town Address List, and if your adult character isn't listed there (or is listed incorrectly) ping in here with their name(s) and their place of residence.

Pre-arranged addresses that haven't been moved into yet are fine to list here too. If it's a spot in one of the apartments or the hotel, you don't need the street address, just the apartment building name or the hotel room number.

If you don't know yet, you can come back here and ping in when you do!

(Also, feel free to let us know if you spot a character on the list who's moved off-island or left the game and should be removed.)

Cheryl and Pam live in the under-construction house Cheryl's handwavily having built that we have been totally vagueing about, address-wise, since we never heard a definitive answer back on what vacant lot we could have. :) Can we maybe have 28 Sphinx or 63 Serendipity if they're still available?

Sorry we missed answering that when we confirmed acceptances; there's no problem with building on the vacant sites on the new part of the island. 63 Serendipity is open, and is now marked as yours! The map is updated as well.
