meme: reverse questions with a twist!

We last did this in April, but after the weekend, and in case we have any oldbies still hanging around, I thought this might be a good one to do.

The rules:

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Recent trends have been characters who swear a lot or are family friendly. Jones of course is completely different than others as she... well she's weird.

Before I would either go with downright wacky or grumpy characters.

Characters who aren't what they seem, and put in an active effort to keep it that way.

Which has recently seen me veering away from the stoic types to the human disaster areas, apparently. Barring Cass.

Yeeeees, but no? It's more that I tend to consider "for the lolz" a perfectly valid reason to do pretty much anything, and as a result the characters tend to lean heavily towards "ridiculous"?

Though, I mean, the characters I actually remember playing (so ignoring Neville and Sabriel) are kinda weird in canon as well, if not quite as weird as I make them. With the exception of Wonka, who will always be weirder than I can manage.

Charlie Eppes might be my most "normal" character, and even he had the math genius thing going for him.

I guess "obsessive weirdos with a somewhat shaky grasp on morality" might cover it?

I seem to have a thing for trolls and tricksters. The only one who isn't a sarcastic SOB (or DOB, I suppose) is Cecil, who...is Cecil.

Smart, snarky badasses. Or just straight up Gryffindors.

Spider-Men. Batmen. Bugs Bunny types.

People who hide a lot of stuff under the surface, whether it's their intelligence, their trauma, or their embarrassing geekiness.

(I've played other types, but my playing of them has usually fallen flat on its face pretty fast.)

Apparently my latest groove is girls who are socially isolated in some way or other (class/race stigma or just being overly sheltered). Capacity for making terrible life choices optional but frequently indulged. I don't even know any more.

I used to think it was fighter boys with trauma and probably also supernatural powers.

Looking at that description I cannot for the life of me explain away Mabel. I have no clue these days.

"Looks like a cinnamon roll, is actually a cinnamon roll" is my official forever answer to this. :D
