I vaguely remember someone (possibly me) mentioning this in a chat like a week ago, and I'm feeling meme-ish. So let's have some house sorting! Looks like we last did this one June, 2018:

For those of you not familiar with Harry Potter, there are four houses into which the students are sorted based on certain defining traits:

Gryffindor - daring, courage and chivalry
Hufflepuff - hard workers, loyalty, fairness
Ravenclaw - wit, learning, and wisdom
Slytherin - cunning, resourcefulness and ambition

A couple points for clarification because I've seen a lot of sorting stuff over the years:
All hero types are not necessarily Gryffindors.
All jerks/bad guys are not necessarily Slytherins, nor are all Slytherins necessarily jerks/bad guys.
Hufflepuff is not where you stick someone just because you can't think of anything else.
People can totally fit into more than one house.

All you have to do is ping your characters in, and people can chime in with which house they think your character belongs in. You can totally comment as to where you think your character should go, too. Feel free to give reasons when sorting people because that's half the fun, just don't be mean or I will totally come over there. And don't forget to check back during the day as more people ping in.

Tip's a Gryffindor, Regina I'd put in Slytherin, Duke is giving me guts because the second I decide on a House I go "well then what about this...?" I think I want to settle on a Slytherin who wanted to be in Hufflepuff but mostly hangs out with Gryffindors?

I feel like Duke is a Slytherin by necessity, and necessity caught up with him so early on that it's hard to tell what he would've been without it.

I feel like Janet is a hufflepuff/slytherin combo who thinks she should be gryffindor/ravenclaw. Something about her combo of frustrated loyalty to her family and adventures in trying to get ahead as a photography student in the series. . . .

I'm thinking Kitty is totally a Ravenclaw. She's is brave and daring but I always see her intellect as her dominant feature.

Rey & Jaina are total Gryffindors.

Kitty and Rey feel like straight-up Gryffindors.

Brooke's got that good Slytherin thing going, though. (Which is a hilarious foil for Mike's utter Hufflepuffness, yes.)

Some of mine are such clear-cut cases it's not even funny.

I want to say Octavia is a Ravenclaw who's been beaten into Slytherin shape. Or possibly the other way around?

With the caveat that all I know about her is what she's done in Fandom, I want to say Nina's a Gryffindor. Much in the way the various Weasleys all managed to be Gryffindor. . . .

Nina is totes a ravenclaw. Just a very enthusiastic one.

I picture Nina getting placed in Ravenclaw and being so put out about it because it totally blows her cover, she was supposed to get placed in Hufflepuff (Gryffindor, also acceptable, actually preferable, but Hufflepuff is a better cover) so that no one knew!

Seivarden is so slytherin it hurts, but, I mean, MOST Radchaai are. Unless you're an Elming (Gryffindor) or poor, poor Ekalu (Hufflepuff).

Breq is the type of Gryffindor that makes you narrow your eyes a little and think if things were slightly different,, she'd be Slytheryn, too.

...I mean, given all the tyrant comments and such, Slytherin feels like the right fit here.

I'm gonna say Wayne's a Hufflepuff.

With a caveat that I don't know HP canon very well:

Sidon: Gryffindor
Amaya: Hufflepuff
Rosa: Somewhere between a Gryffindor and a Hufflepuff: Who pretends to be a Slytherin?
Tisarwat: I agree with Slytherin as mentioned above, but I think the original Tisarwat could have been more of a Hufflepuff

I am not shipping Rosa/Wayne.

Rosa is a Griffindor who thinks she is a Slytherin.
Wayne is a Hufflepuff. Hard worker? Check. Loyalty and fairness? I get that vibe from him.

Summer's a Gryffindor, as is Sidon, and I'd put Rosa here but she shed the want anyone to know it.

Presume, Shunsui and I thiiiink Prompto are Hufflepuffs.

Astrid I've decided is a Ravenclaw. Her brain is always thinking.

I've only ever seen the movies, so no idea here.

Not all in one. I like the slash in the middle of their names because someone somewhere probably ships Eleanor with Caduceus.

Not me though.

I'm scared to look for fic.

I feel like Eleanor is maybe a perfect example of "Slytherin doesn't HAVE to mean evil".

I like this analogy very much.

Caduceus is the most Hufflepuff-y Hufflepuff who ever existed.
