I've got a bunch of random canon and no clue what to do with it, someone help me please?

I've got ideas, but I don't know who I want to work them out with.

Jesse doesn't know enough people well enough yet, omg, but she's got 'unleashed a sentient Slide Projector on the world', 'possibly made all the adults in her hometown disappear', 'lost her brother to an eeeevil Federal agency' and, oh, 'found brother later on in a weird brainwashed possessed state chanting weird shit and talking about his dreams all the time' to share around.

Rey's got a super fun mental torture trauma if anyone would like to pick up on it!

Oooh, oooh! Yes please! I can trade you "getting actually set on fire."

Lol one of those is WAY WORSE THAN THE OTHER I'm in.

I have a few things in mind with Danny, but I am super open to doing fun things with anyone who wants!

Including: so, so many dead partners, his beloved kid, his idiot brother Dane Cook who I just hate because all he does is make things worse even after he dies, and that level of anxiety that makes it impossible for him to accept anything good happening in his life!

WAIT OMG I JUST REALIZED WE CAN HAVE THESE BOYS SWAP IDIOT-DEAD-BROTHER FORESHADOWING.

Which means I'll need to find someone else to throw parental issues at Danny. For my amusement.

. . . I suppose it would be weird for them to have TOO many coinciding traumas. ;D (Someone is definitely getting an eyeful of Duke watching his dad drown at age 8. BECAUSE COME ON.)

I can offer up a "Dad shot on the phone while I listened" with a side of "mom faked her own death because Reasons"?

OMG, these two would be SO ANNOYED to have parental issues in common. LET'S DO IT.

I'm not saying they're like Pokemon that Danny is collecting, but I'm gonna imply it.

Okay, now I'm just saying it. THREE MAKES IT OBVIOUS.

I'm flashing back to Nadia and my first year in the game a million years ago just typing this BUT.

Mae has semi-prophetic dreams. Ie, weird shit goes down, and she's "in tune" enough to have weird foreboding dreams about it that don't make any sense to her but could be filled with dramatic irony/easter eggs for everyone else.

I would like to play with this.

Anyone have a random bit of Fandom lore that could make for a funky dream image? Mae will not know any details about it. She won't get any special insight, and will only vaguely recognize it later if someone talks about whatever it is to her, but I LOVE WRITING DREAMS OKAY?

I'm talking, like, persistently recurring ghost-jello-dragons. Or . . . I don't know, who all has died around here that could be haunting up the place? Maybe one of her dreams could be a flood or an evil carnival or something? HELP ME OUT HERE? Anyone got any spare parts that make for fun spooky atmosphere?

Vampire dreams would be fun! Or some of that Eldritch horror we did ages ago.

WEEPING ANGELS ARE DEFINITELY ON MY LIST! The gentlemen could be nice and creepy, too! The Nothing might be a bit harder.

For anyone who would want to catch some trauma they didn't ask for, Kitty has a VERITABLE TREASURE TROVE of horrible things that could come up.

This actually especially goes for anyone who's like "wow she's really cool about all the weird stuff here" who'd like to see the other side of that.

Jesse has no idea what's that like, rly. (If you're up for it.)

Work seriously killed my brain today, so I'm just putting up something quick to let everyone know that I have a LOT of ideas and am SUPER open to other ideas. I'm planning in putting together a master post with ideas for all mine that I'm inviting everyone to feel free to work from, but I can tell you now, there's a WHOLE lot of juicy there for Astrid, Summer, Tisarwat, and Shunsui especially. But there's no way ai can put more than two thoughts in my brain ATM, but I am totes here for this!

Hey, look, it's my character who tried to make a deal with a mysterious witch who takes payment in making her clients as miserable as possible (to save Beau's dumb ass from sacrificing her own happiness in said deal), only to be told she couldn't possibly get more miserable enough to have anything to offer!

Which is to say, if anyone would like some more trauma thrown at them, I am 100% happy to let you have some of Yasha's guilt over running away while her wife was executed, vague sense of guilt over the slaughtering of her entire tribe in revenge that she doesn't actually remember doing because yay amnesia, trauma about said amnesia, trauma over being kidnapped and tortured, guilt/trauma/anger over her best friend getting killed in the process of trying to rescue her from being kidnapped and tortured ...

You've got options, is what I'm saying, and I'm on vacation all week so I'll actually even be around. If any of this stuff will suit your needs, let me know!

Éponine's sordid memories of being utterly destitute in 1830s Paris and, you know, almost dying at the barricades are available for anyone's purposes too, for that matter, no strings attached.

Beau ... might have something to offer, provided you'd be down with considering your character in debt to her for a favor against keeping that information to yourself, thanks.

I would love to do something for some great D&D solidarity, but god help me if I have any ideas.

So, there's some trauma to be relived for sure. The enslavement, the Aurora chair, the getting executed by dispersal (he got better), the 10,000 other Baniks dying and him feeling it ow, so many people he knew dying (some of them got better? One of them they had a spare so it's ok), Zhaan dying (then reappearing here and then DISAPPEARING AGAIN WOE), getting captured by Scarrans for use in yet another science experiment, all the terrible things that happened in PK Wars...
He'd be happy to share his trauma with you! I mean, not happy. Not at all happy. But he's really good at sharing memories.

But also he's a walking nightlight which could be useful. If he's coherent enough to be glowy.

I've got some plot spare parts to share.

Just FYI, if you want to tag along.

Lucifer's brain is a mess of 1) the Fall, and all his trauma and self-loathing related to that (though this is necessarily vague, thanks, show), 2) millennia in Hell and hating every second of it, 3) killing his own brother, 4) killing Cain in a fit of rage, 5) CHLOE FUCKING DECKER.

All of this is going to come up this week, probably! Or at least some of it! I have a few folks in mind who I'll be bugging with that, but I'm open to anyone else muscling their way into that mess. Especially on Friday night, when he's going to be in a Great Pianoing Mood.

Conversely, most of his good memories are Chloe-related, which means he's going to have a Devil of a time (heh) tapping into them. Egging him on in that regard = love.

... I feel like my fallen angel girl here should encounter him in some way now. But I need caffeine before I think about this more.

I've got a couple of folks that I've already had "yes, we will share traumas!" conversations with for this boy (I'm sure y'all can guess who). Duke will be revisiting primarily parental traumas (watching his dad die as a wee thing, getting ditched by his mom repeatedly throughout his life, having a kid who'll kill him horribly if she ever gets near him again . . .) and a general pervading theme of "I must remain in control of myself at all times or bad things will happen". So if anyone wants to get in on and/or egg any of that along, HMU!

For brainstorming that doesn't fit the above.
