This came up in the Discord and we have a newbie and some returning players since we did this last year, so why not.

Since this game has been around forever now, we collectively have a lot of either Fandom minutiae we've established and forgotten about (there used to be a Whomping Willow!) or Burning Fandom Questions we've never gotten a real answer for (just how many forms are there if you accidentally kill a student? How about if you do it on purpose?). This is a place to let your brainstorming go wild and for us to steal good headcanon and turn into real canon.

Here, give me things I will inevitably use for posts.

I'm still hitting the random icon button.

It's a little out of date, but I have a list of the things Sabine's painted around town here.

There's also a warehouse with an orange firebird on the door where if you were to go in there it'd be graffitied and painted to hell and back, including proof of paint bomb explosions all over the floor.

Caritas stuff!

There is a sanctuary spell, meaning no one is physically able to get hurt inside the bar. If you try to throw a punch, before you connect you'll be transported either into the duck pond, or into the alley out back.

The band are zombies. No, I don't know where they live, but they would like you to buy one of their CDs from the merch table. There's also a system to Febreze them regularly so the smell that people kept modding doesn't bother customers.

They don't typically serve food, but in a pinch you can probably get like onion rings or something appetizer-y. Just beware it's probably made by Tino popping a bag from the grocery store into a pot of oil in his apartment and bringing it back down.

If you're returning after a while away, Caritas did undergo a bit of a remodel after a sharkicane dropped a shark through the roof and caused flooding damage. It looks a little more 2017 or whatever now.

One question I have. I see there is at least one bank... but is there an established form of pay/min wage or whatever. Or is it just basically assumed you make some kind of money doing your townie work and that just happens to be enough for whatever you need like food, supplies *cough*haircut*cough, and such? LOL

There's a craft brewery run entirely by raccoons on the boardwalk.

Started as a one-off joke about raccoons stealing alcohol to encourage people to try their beer (raccoon logic, just go with it), and somehow ended with Liam convincing them to get a license and health inspected and all that.

BASICALLY.

"How people make enough money to live" is super, super handwavey, especially considering minimum expectation for holding down an in-town job is a post once a week ;)

Nope! You just happen to handwavily earn however much you need. It helps that you can apparently afford super cheap rent by working one single shift a week somehow.

What happened to the flamingo who worked at Caritas?

Luke's kitchen staff are:

Greg: the cook. Not a lot of specifics worked out about him, but in my head he's a middle aged white guy with a gut. Possibly lives in the freezer.

Ali: the dishwasher. Central Asian. Unofficial ringleader of the kitchen, even though Greg thinks he's in charge.

Timmy/Matty/Billy/some other typical male name ending in "y": the busboy. Has a different name every post, but it's always the same kid. Is perpetually like 19. Played in my head by John Francis Daley.

The waitstaff are still faceless NPCs though.

Tino is a trash person. Like, I don't even know My So-Called Life but didn't we specifically choose him because he's this terrible burnout with no personality or whatever?

So...Tino has bad taste in things, right? Tino generally, IIRC, does not use complex syntax. Tino rinsing off pizza under a tap is so goddamn on-brand from what I remember.

Right? Am I misremembering this? Basically Tino is like a human raccoon, but less clever?

I will also say that as a fake bartender/diner staff/etc, I have rampantly modded that the NPCs tip well, so that helps too!

I don't think I was around for this, but I vote that they were on some kind of flamingo Rumspringa, and have now rejoined their brethren in the pond?

Also I just hit the random icon button, just for you, and enjoy this cuddle.

I have never had Tino speak, and I think of him more as an enigma than a person.

I went back and found Bay's stuff too, which is all still there.

All of the restaurants in town are incredibly generous, and Ching Tai in particular seems to be very guilty of sending gosh just so much Chinese food, guess I have to share because it makes a great post prompt!

Have the delivery drivers ever actually gotten anyone their correct order? Or do you order one pizzas and get six every single time?

If they do deliver the right thing, do they win a prize?

Not that this especially matters since the students aren't super active, but are we still doing handwavey/online traditional classes for those college-bound types?

I remember I had both Rory and Sookie take, like, accounting and English handwavily while they were also attending their once-weekly, interactable-but-less-transcript-friendly FH classes.

HANG ON, Tino lives above Caritas? I don't know if I knew this.

Can we do something with that? (Tino brings that girl from the gym home and Kitty has to bang on the ceiling with a broom? I'm just spitballing.)

I AM PRETTY SURE. I'm also not the one who established it, I think, but as far as I know no one else lives above there.

Because this could be an amaaaaaazing post to write.

Things in the dorms that might have been forgotten about:

-The salle and gym, with all the probably dusty practice dummies
-The garage on the first floor where there's probably still a speeder bike
-The pool in the basement
-The first floor rec room, not that I remember what's in it
-The Rory Gilmore Memorial Fridge on the sixth floor

What am I missing?

The raccoons also have a little Stark shrine set up in the tunnels because sometimes you accidentally start a cult, ok?

Wasn't there a dance studio in there somewhere, too? Or did it get turned into the salle? I feel like I remember a Kitty somewhere along the line practicing her ballet in a studio. . . .

We are! I just dropped the place to make it official-official in class sign ups this go around since no one had put anything into it in years.

The original owner was Lorne and he and Tino lived above Caritas. Also I nabbed Tino as an NPC from My So Called Life back when we had an Angela Chase.

Is there a list of all the weird 6th floor rooms?

There is a blossom tree in the park in memory of the player who played Molly from the Runaways from way back in the day.

There is also was a pine tree in the park that used to be "wee" but is now fifteen years old. I meant to have Marty visit that tree during the last reunion but missed my chance.

And let's never forget there is a person sized dent in the park made by Belthazor.

Tino was always mentioned in My So-Called Life but never seen. Which made him the perfect NPC in my mind when I brought him in because I thought it was funny to have a never seen character interact with so many people. In the show he's the guy the burn outs go to when they need something.

Also the evolution of Tino over the years amuses me so. He's totally a human raccoon.

The dent is Anakin's very favorite thing, possibly including all of his children.

There's a sundae at Chilly Boulder named for Ben Skywalker called the Skywalker. It's a scoop of every flavor they have, plus all of the toppings and a half dozen bananas (to make it healthy). Think the Vermonster, but with the flavor danger of a box of Bernie Bott's jelly beans.

Considering that every time I make a post I have to go back into the tag to figure out what's been done already? There is not.

I should make one.

I'm not sure if the flamingos in the park are the ones Leto got for Alice, for playing croquet. Or their descendants. He did bring flamingos at one point at least.

Speaking of, I believe there's a tree in the park or the preserve with "RG+AS" on it in a heart.

Possibly in the reverse order but I know Anakin carved it and I feel like he would have probably put Rory's initials first?

DEVIL'S NEST:

- Eric is not serving alcohol to anyone under 21 (including if your license says 1985 but you're a sophomore at the school). No, he doesn't care what they do in your dimension/timeline/Europe.
- He does have a ridiculous number of sodas you can try, though, mostly from Japan.
- The bar now has a piano (thanks, Lucifer!) to replace the middling-to-bad DJs Eric used to bring in ~~and eat~~.
- It also has an axe range that Eric loves and Lucifer hates. Eric loves it more because Lucifer hates it so much. SUCH A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP.
- Tiny is not at all tiny. He is very, very large and possibly not entirely human (Eric doesn't ask).

I have always pictured Tiny as the cartoon gorilla who asks for the password to the Ink and Paint Club in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I dunno, my brain is weird.

And then a small flock of them followed Hannibal home after he fed them clone-Pinkie meat, so he's got lawn flamingos. And at some point they became permanently glittery, although I can't remember how.
