We had our seventeenth anniversary yesterday! The inexorable march of time comes for us all. Anyway let's meme. We last did this in April.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm probably Eddie. Buck's always easy, but I am riding high on Stranger Things 4 still, so Eddie is who I want to play the most.

Even with Wanda being who she is right now, Diego's still the hardest to socialize. Which I guess means I'm playing him correctly lol.

Deadpool, Barbossa, Dean Winchester (any), Castiel, Derek Hale, Umbridge, John Sheppard, Merlin, Ned, Annie January, Sam Winchester

Do you hurt your characters for the hell of it? Or do you have guidelines for how and when you do it?

I really dislike drama for the sake of drama, but when it comes up via Fandom shenanigans or canon (*points at Wanda*) I do enjoy it.

I am also apparently good at couple fights.

Are there classes you would have taught with a character but haven't for some reason?

There's actually a list in one of the comics of classes Kitty teaches and lol I'm not smart enough for any of them.

So pretty much none of us knew what we were doing when we started this game! Let's talk about some of the things we did that now make us feel shame.

Also, tbh, I get the cringes when I look back on the times I've invented drama just to whammy my characters. I take a lot of pride in seeing it come forth organically or through canon or whatever in more recent years, but I know I made up some dumb stuff for whammy points/attention/because it seemed like fun back circa 2006. (Though I will also blame a general lack of life experience, there, since I was 18 when the game started, so this doubles as "look, I documented my cringe teenage behavior.")

Have you ever played a crack character? How successful were you?

I've played the Swedish Chef, Crow T. Robot, Buster Bluth and two characters from Red vs Blue so...yes. I had fun doing it, so that's a success to me.

Floral hex! Tiger! That time Archie and Anders got into a physical fight and all of the OOC notes on the comments! The D&D game during the Nothing! The D&D game that was just Space Jam!

Can you remember the first plot that you ran? What was it?

That would be when I had Aravis Tarkheena from The Horse and His Boy get kidnapped back to her home country to marry the icky old dude she ran away from in the first place, and her friends had to come bring her home. (I haven't reread it in years because guess what, choosing Eva Green as a PB for a character who's clearly coded as Arabic/Middle-Eastern is one of those things that gives me the 16-years-later cringes so fucking hard. Oh, past Erin.)

After that, I think I adapted every Sookie Stackhouse book up through...the sixth one? The one where Sophie-Anne turns up, anyway.

What are some of your favorite characters/pairings to read, besides your own? That's too easy.

I'll read just about anything Five puts out, Annie, Eddie Diaz, and whenever Octavia and Irene are together.

So off the top of my head: Draco/Lily, Annette/Dick, Veronica/Dick, Derek/Stiles, Percy/Luke, Diego/Annie, Rey/Silver, Marshall/Lily...I'm sure there's more.

Do you have any antagonistic relationships you like playing out?

I love playing sibling rivalry between Five and Diego.

I can't wait for Wanda to get snippy at people.

Steven/Marc, Jane, Margo, Eliot. I've got two characters that'll bounce off just about anybody so I'm down for whoever.

I haven't been jossed but with Multiverse of Madness and TUA season 3 I had to take a breath and be like "wait how the fuck do I handle this".

Stranger Things could joss me bad for Eddie if these fan theories pan out.

Have you ever guessed at canon details and gotten them right? Please brag.

There was the time I absolutely nailed Robin Scherbatsky's character age, as well as having her date an older dude in Fandom three weeks or whatever before the episode where she has a boyfriend in his forties. Still proud of that, and it's been like 15 years. (That being said, my Annie is about a year/two years younger than canon because either I fucked that up or the writers forgot what they established.)

Have you ever changed canon to make it work better for you? Have you taken liberties to fill in canon blanks?

Certain aspects of TUA season 3 actually work out *very* well for me and Erin to take advantage of, so that's nice.

This entire summer has been me trying to go from WandaVision to Multiverse of Madness without Wanda barging in like "'SUP I'M EVIL NOW".

How do you feel about your characters' canon ships?

I loveeeeeeeeee Diego/Lila. Buck/Taylor and Buck/Abby were nice for what they were, and both gave Buck nice character development. I could take or leave Wanda/Vision.

Do you go back and read old threads? How often and why?

Fairly often! Sometimes I just want to reread a relationship or refresh myself on something and just start reading more off that. Or sometimes I'll look up something old and end up in someone's journal from 2006.

Are there any characters of yours that took you a bit to warm up to while writing them?

I found Wanda intimidating at first because of the huge ass canon, and how freaking powerful she is.

And have there been characters you worried about playing only to find them really easy?

Eddie is a one season character so it's always kind of hard to make a fully fleshed out character with so little canon, but it's been working out for me (I think).
