Meme: Questions

Oh my god I'm having the worst work week and my day blew up, please give me something to read. We did this last in May but I came up with a bunch of new questions because I'm a dork who does that.

Pose a question (or as many as you'd like, and they don't all have to be in one comment, so you can come back later and add more if you want) to your fellow players about the game or their characters, and they will Wall-of-Text if they want to, look, I know how some of you are answer them. They can be personal or silly. You don't have to answer all of them! Nothing counts in game, of course and etc.


Questions might include "Which of your characters are you the most like?", "Which BDE was your favorite?", "What music do you RP to?", etc.

Check in throughout the day to add questions/answer questions that have been added!

The Thunderbolts movie actually looks good from the trailer so I have hopes for that one. Also there seems to be some movement for a season 2 of Ms. Marvel which I just want to happen and be good. And also have another dance number.

That’s a lot of why I stopped Arthur and John; I fell so behind on canon I wasn’t sure I had a grasp on them anymore.

No one's exactly hard but Rey's the one with the most connections right now.

So far this year isn’t helping.

1) pre-writing some stuff while on my desktop. For example, when Watts brings lunches for Steven I usually link to a recipe- I write up the html code and stick it in an email draft so all I have to do is copy and paste. same for party posts if I know I'm linking to an outfit or etc.

2) autocorrect text replacements. So if I type "ii" on my phone, it replaces it with the opening and closing italics tags.

Firekeeper. She was just so sifferent from anyone I'd played before or since. If I could find a reason to bring her back I probably would.

Poor Sabine. I brought her in just in time for multiple serious family crises in RL, got back into things, she was doing great, then some of those family crises reared their ugly heads and when I was done with that, her easy socialization wasn't there as much. I've still got her voice, it's just harder to get her out.

Ping into other people's posts, then if I make friends they're more likely to ping into mine.

Kitty's a genius, specifically in the subjects I suck at.

As for research I've spent SO MUCH time on Wookieepedia since 2007.

It i hear something and can't figure out why I know about it, it's one of two things: a) I listened to a podcast about it, or b) it was in a class at FH back in the day.

I want to say I'm more true to canon than not and they'll end up with those people eventually, but I'm thinking about it and I don't know if that's actually true. Off the top of my head I've had two characters end up either their canon boys but not before having IG ships, two ignored the ships, one got together with the guy from canon but it was through gameplay, one has been stuck in a holding pattern for years because she's had the slowest canon catch-up ever.

So I'm all over the place.

If I'm bringing a character back I'll read big stuff that might be relevant.

And then sometimes I go looking for something specific in Jaina's journal, follow links from there, and then end up reading the entire damn game from May through October of 2007. Did I find what was looking for? No idea, I don't remember what it was.

Steph's effectively the only active one I've got right now, so... easy is relative, anyway, because what is brain.

Jaina's canon. All of it. She was such a mess and I made it so much worse in gameplay. It was so much fun.

I've been struggling to get Yasha's canon catchup done for LITERAL YEARS now, but yeah. Her.

Of all my characters who'd get along with Harley and Liliana, I didn't think it'd be Rey but I love it.

As far as handwaving goes, Gray is canonically a HUGE anime fan and I...am not. And since Marvel never bothered to specify what kind of surgeon Don is I've just about decided I'm not going to either.

Research...so much. Raiden knows way more about pizza than I do. Lydia requires at least one 'did they have X in Regency England' Google per week. Thor means constantly A) researching Norse mythology and then B) researching whether Marvel put their own spin on it. I have learned way more than I ever thought I would know about how medical licensing works, and used it to torment Don for months.

Most of my currents are the actors that played them and thank god. Kitty I could have used Elliot Page for at the time (in retrospect I'm glad because I would feel disrespectful using those icons now) but he didn't fit the look of the canon I was bringing Kitty in from, so I paged through like every brown-haired girl on PB finder and settled. I'm happy with her now though.

I fell out of comics when I moved back to Chicago, but Kitty was already so far removed from canon that it didn't really matter.

I actually like Rey during pollen because she doesn't have enough opportunities to be cranky.
