Admin note on violence in town

As you have now all met our new security [livejournal.com profile] fandomtroopers, I thought this was the time to do a small revision of the policies on violence in [livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies.

IC on violence in town

1. There will now be clone troopers patrolling the streets. This means that anyone getting into a serious fight on the streets or other public places will get caught. Serious being defined as any fight that leads to destruction of public property, or involving weaponry. You want to get down and dirty with guns or swords, do it in private. Otherwise the cloned arm of the law will be coming down on you.

2. There will be no weapon ban. Your character can walk around with guns or knives or whatever. Tex sells weapons, so she's not going to ban them completely. It's when you start waving them around that you'll get someone breathing down your neck.

OOC about violence in town

1. If you plan on having any sort of fight that would prompt the law stepping in, run it past the admins. Fisticuffs and the occasional Vampire snacking on a NPC in a dark, secluded alleyway need not apply.

2. All rules still stand. Don't attack another player's character unless you have permission. Use your common sense and you'll be just fine.

3. Violence is not banned in game, neither are weapons. It's there and I'm all in favour of getting some action. It's just important that we keep it under control.
