Looks like we did this one last in June, and with new characters, why not do it again?

It's really simple (which is nice if you're still recovering from a holiday weekend like I am) and goes like this:

Tell us about your character's LJ name, what it means and how you decided on it?

Bonus points for the username stories of your past characters too. Okay, I can't really give bonus points but pretend you get 'em for this.

Savannah/Cassidy/Phoebe/Annja/Chloe/Gwynn

walks_two_paths -- Savannah is part witch and part sorcerer and she can cast and create spells for both sides. So, she's trying walk the paths of both her mother (Eve Levine - Witch) and her father (Kristof Nast - Sorcerer). I've thought about changing her name many times, but have yet to come up with one that is perfect for everything that is Savannah.

nothornlessrose -- With Cassidy, I was wanting a name that was in reference to both her Jewel that she'll get when she makes the Offering and how she wasn't without her edges and showing her teeth when she needed to. I liked notathornlessrose for her, but it was too long and rosethrnedqueen was in use somewhere else. snarkyhealer suggested this one because it was Cassidy no matter how old she was.

sensethevisions -- Phoebe is an empath that senses emotions and she has visions of the future and of the past. I'm really surprised that it took me so long to come up with this name for her since it is pretty much perfect.

spiritandsword -- Annja's the spiritual descendant of Joan of Arc... and she has her sword. It's a much nicer name than her original of annjaofthesword.

awakestheghosts -- This one was relatively easy because it says so much about her. She's a Necromancer that brings bodies back to life, and she seems to wake up ghosts and see them when no one else does. It just was a perfect fit for her. I think it's my favorite user name that I've come up with for one of my characters.

notafairmaiden -- In canon, Gwynn wants to be anything but a lady and stay at home. She doesn't want to be a maiden fair, she wants to be a fighter for what she believes in. Unfortunately, the name I REALLY wanted, byreasonofmygender (a phrase she uses on Phillip when he tries to give her his horse she was going to steal) was too long I was having a hard time coming up with other user names for her. In desperation she ended up with notafairmaiden.

Behold the power of cut and paste, since I have no one new. Though I will take suggestions for possible journal name changes or new names for DW if that should happen. ;)

trigons_child because Raven was supposed to be the only child of Trigon the Terrible. Until DC retconned her six brothers into existence and decided to make them embodiments of the Seven Deadly Sins. Oh, canon.

whitequeensfire because at the point I pulled Angelica from, she's being groomed to be personal assassin for the White Queen, aka Emma Frost, and because she throws fire. (...I do not have a type. Shut up.)

likesscoundrels because Leia likes scoundrels, duh. ;)

redheadbabyvamp for Jessica because, well, she is.

demonbelthazor because...his name is Belthazor and he's a demon. So original it BURNS.

blessed_twice because Wyatt's birth was prophesied with "When three planets burn as one over a sky of dancing light, and magic will rest for a holy day to welcome a twice-blessed child," which foretold Wyatt would be the most powerful magical being ever to walk the Earth. And an ego to match.

auntie_vida because Vida's everybody's auntie, pumpkins.

Ender's being a reference to 1) his name; 2) the name of his book (Ender's Game); 3) his tendency to win games absolutely; 4) his tendency to win games by cheating and bending all the rules, forcing people to *change* said rules and the game entirely; 5) the book's ending.

Peter's being a reference to 1) his pseudonym, Locke; 2) him 'locking the way' the world is going to end up; 3) the construction of his online alter-ego based in part on the teachings of John Locke; 4) his 'becoming the mask', aka becoming more like that pseudonym in the first place; 5) his belief that Locke (the pseudonym) is the one to be followed, ie the only way out of this mess.

Sometimes I feel like Gabrielle's username (which, yes, is meant to read "Ancient BS Champ," but it even confuses me sometimes) is less accurate as I haphazardly shove send her through canon.

And then I remember that she might not have to rely on making up ridiculous crap to talk her way out of situations any more, but she's still writing down the history of a massively convoluted and sometimes completely backwards version of the ancient world, and Xena still complains that she takes too many artistic liberties when she writes things down. But hey, in the modern era they're going to find her scrolls and turn them into the Xena: Warrior Princess TV show, so that kind of makes her a winner at making things up, right?

I've had childhood_taunt for Matt for a while now. Back when Matt was a kid and before he lost his sight, his father forbid him to fight and forced him to study all the time so Matt would be able to get out of Hell's Kitchen and not be an "Uneducated Pug" like his father. As a result all the kids started calling him "Daredevil" sarcastically since he was a bookworm and never stuck up for himself. Of course when he put on tights that all changed so of course he picked the name he was taunted by as a child as his handle.

exactlyaverage's name came from an episode in Eureka where Jack's daughter was fretting about her recent IQ test that she took. Jack then responded how he took one in high school and got 111 without breaking a sweat and bragged how he got "better than 100%" on his first try.

After he got a bunch of strange looks he looked up his IQ score and discovered he was "exactly average."

I give full props to Claudia-Mun for coming up with the handle for me. I was at a complete loss at the time.

old_and_busted was an easy choice and decription from MIB2 where J was trying to convince K that he couldn't drive a car because he was the "New Hotness" and K was "Old and Busted."

The argument didn't work but I found it to be a perfect handle and easily recognizable.

NEWEST ONE FIRST! Even though it's boring.

halfman_lion is a combination of Tyrion's canon nickname of "halfman" -- because no one in the books can let him forget he's a dwarf for 30 seconds -- and the fact lions are the symbol of House Lannister. I had cunning_imp reserved first, but it struck me as too cutesy for Tyrion.

And the slightly updated cut-and-paste:

bitten_notshy -- Jack's whole thing with Sebastien involves getting bitten, and he is not in the least shy in any sense. Plus, I liked the idea of riffing on a saying. ( living_endless had the same kind of name.)

chief_cheerio is a straight-up reference to her former canon status as head cheerleader. Very creative. If we go over to Dreamwidth, it'll be former_cheerio, since the cheering thing really hasn't happened in Fandom.

life_inshadow is from Tara's big song in "Once More with Feeling." It made sense to me as her username because at the precanon point I was taking her from, a lot of her life had been very shadowy and repressed. She's not so much in shadow these days , but I couldn't imagine changing it.

twintuitionist -- Juliet is convinced she has a psychic link with Jeremy, but twintuition (which she calls it in canon) was sadly taken and nothing else I thought of felt right. stars_and_money suggested this version and I went YAY. It is a bastard to type, though.

withoutverona ... well, he started as fair_montague which got annoying after I played him long enough to realize he didn't need to remind everybody he was pretty in every single thread. So I started raiding canon for usable quotes. This comes from "There is no world without Verona walls/ But purgatory, torture, hell itself," which is Romeo being melodramatic about being banished. He doesn't feel that way anymore, but it's a hell of a reminder of where he started from.

whenshewasnice is a canon thing, sort of. When Scott finally snaps and tries to attack Envy's boyfriend Todd, he exclaims, "She used to be so nice!" And so, since Natalie here is Envy back in the time when she was nice... Behold, username. (I also have whenshewasnt waiting for the future, because I like it and feel like the transition from Natalie to Envy deserves a username change.)

electrocynic, on the other hand, is pretty self-explanatory. She's a superhero working under the capename of Electroclash, and she's a cynic.

bitchwithasword was a little too long, so... withasword it was. Plus, she LOVES that sword.

And #2, knowsnokungfu because Chuck cannot do kung fu. Yet. He'll work on that at some point in the future in order to be able to say "Guys! I know kung fu!" and kick bad people.

The miniseries actually changes this scene quite a bit, and leaves the bit about Ghanima out entirely, but she is very much the Atreides Lioness as she walks down those stairs, prepared to defend her brother and the Golden Path from any and all who would dare abuse their power.

ofthe_wilds is because Morrigan is a Witch of the Wilds, a magic-user who lives outside the law in a primordial forest.

Other considerations were sneakywitchtheif (thank you, Alistair), prowls_shadows, vexes_templars, and like_kasaanda, all of which are variations on quotes said by-or-about her in canon.

harpy_daughter comes from the fact that Surreal's mother, Titian, has become the Queen of the Harpies in Hell. Not that Surreal knows this - yet - but it also fits because Surreal herself is kinda bitchy sometimes.

Alumni:
icecoldfrost is simply a play on Emma's last name and her nature. There's too many canonical references to Emma's cold heart to count, although I referenced my favorite one for her AU journal, cold_hard_heart: "I've had quite enough of these painful emotions....no empathy, no compassion, just a cruel sense of humor and a cold, hard heart."

dojima_hime In canon, Dojima's coworkers make jokes about the fact that she never has to do any work because "She's special" and gets called "the princess." So I went with one of the Japanese honorifics denoting a young lady of high birth.

bridge_carson: It's his name. Shut up your face.

kestrelswolf: Raised by wolves, Firekeeper was later formally adopted by Norvin Norwood, the Earl of House Kestrel. So, she's now the Kestrel's wolf. Well, inasmuch as she lets them think she "belongs" to them, anyway ;)

longislandiceme: Bobby's been called "Long Island Iced Tea" affectionately a few times in canon. He's also from Long Island and makes himself into ice.

shagthis: Jake's used it as an expletive/exclamation. I also think it works as an imperative.

faithandscience: The two most important things in William's life. He's a devout Catholic, but he's also wholly dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and scientific endeavour.

godgavemecable: Comes from a canon quote in the pilot that pretty much sums up Toby's attitude on his telepathy: "Still, when god hooks you up with free cable, you gotta think he expects you to do a little surfing."

Everybody else all together, starting with my new boy!

nonelikemesince - I know this username sounds pretty arrogant, but it's an adaptation of a canon line from Abyss, and a scene that momslilassassin and I adapted for the Field of Dreams plot, I think. When Luke and Ben go to the Lake of Apparitions and meet Anakin's Force ghost, Ben tells Anakin, "You're a legend, Anakin. Your sacrifice saved the Jedi. There hasn't been another Jedi Knight as strong as you since."

So the real reason I chose this reference is because of Anakin's response (and this scene is going to go into his userinfo as soon as I get around to doing that):

Anakin scowled, then looked back to Luke. "You must be going soft on them."

Luke smiled, but shook his head. "Not at all. Ben is right . . . I have high hopes for Ben, but there hasn't been a Jedi Knight like you again. Losing you was as great a loss to the Order as it was to your family."

Anakin's eyes grew worried. "It shouldn't have been. The Order can't wait for a great Jedi Knight to lead it. That's what everyone thought I was, and when I died too much died with me." He turned to Ben. "Don't make the mistake I did, don't let anyone push you into that. Every Jedi Knight has to be his own light, because the light shouldn't go out when one Jedi dies."

Because Anakin hasn't yet developed his hero reputation, much less the "legendary" status he'll take on after his death, I like the contrast implied in the username.

batwaffles - Again, more of a Batgirl- era Stephanie reference than one that fits her current bit of the canon timeline, but see how much I care. Waffles are a running gag in Steph's Batgirl run: making waffles for breakfast is her mom's way of bonding with her, but someone (usually but not always Steph) is seen eating waffles in every. Single. Issue. Also the username was free and I wanted to snag it.

But since this is DC comics canon, I feel I'm perfectly justified in retconning my own explanation to pretend all along like it was also a clever reference to A) how she goes from being Spoiler to Robin back to Spoiler again, which is related to B) how Batman keeps swinging wildly between telling her he needs her help on a mission and then turning around and saying that she's incompetent and should quit vigilante-ing and go home. And then recruiting her help again. GOD, BRUCE, MAKE UP YOUR MIND. Anyway, you could say the big Bat waffles about her.

YEAH, THAT WAS CLEVER. I'M RETCONNING THAT INTO MY REASONING TO MAKE MYSELF LOOK WITTY.

weetuskenraider - You know how Anakin Solo has ICE BLUE EYES and Jaina and Jacen have BRANDY-BROWN EYES? Throughout New Jedi Order the one physical attribute they kept hammering home about Tahiri was that she was tiny: very slender, and also short enough that at seventeen years old her feet don't touch the floor when she's sitting in a chair. The fact that she's the adopted daughter of a Tusken Raider tribe, on the other hand, was a big thing in Junior Jedi Knights and then got all but forgotten from NJO on. She's also a lot more dangerous than she looks, so I like how the contrast in the name reflects that.

brat_intraining - Kennedy's a total brat, and as a Potential Slayer she's in training to learn to kick evil's ass. Pretty straightforward (ha), right? There's really no super clever reasoning here, and no, the underscore pattern matching life_inshadow's username wasn't intentional.

Watch me stress out already over OH GOD THIS USERNAME WON'T BE APPLICABLE MUCH LONGER HOW SHOULD I CHANGE IT TO SOMETHING THAT WILL FIT BUT NOT BREAK THE THEME AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH.

thismaskiwear - Katchoo's a lot more emotionally vulnerable than she lets on. Her username is the title of a poem she wrote in high school (see her userinfo for the text of it) and a very appropriate quote to describe her, and I still can't believe it wasn't taken when I created it.

time_flyer_5 - Oh god, least creative username ever, and not even accurate but I can't be bothered to change it. Jen Scotts is a Time Force Power Ranger, and instead of the usual Power Ranger Zord schtick of giant robotic animals or vehicles, the TF Rangers have these jets that are actually the Time Fliers. Also Jen's is #4, not #5, because Red Ranger Wes gets to be all ~special~ and get the Time Jet instead. Never mind that Jen's technically the leader. Sigh. This username actually makes me sigh a lot because of that.

cantgetnorelief - When I first started playing Anders in the very first week of the game, his username was futurebucs_star, a reference to his canon future as a star Pyramid player with the Caprica Buccaneers. That was when I thought he was human.

Then Shanie got jossed mightily upon discovering Anders was actually a Cylon, as you could tell because the Final Five Cylons could all hear "All Along the Watchtower" in their heads, and learned a Very Important Lesson about playing from open canons.

Then Shanie discovered that not only was Anders a Cylon, but he in fact wrote "All Along the Watchtower" and is therefore Bob Dylan.

Therefore changing his username to a lyric from AAtW seemed like an imperative thing to do, and do you have any idea how hard it was to find one that wasn't already taken and fit within character limits? Luckily this one (which sorta alludes to how he's a total canon angst-puppy and was one while he was a student at FH too) wasn't taken. And also has vaguely dirty implications, and don't even think that didn't factor into the decision.

It was hard to come up with a user name for Cassie because it seems like every suitable one that refers to the books has been taken and used somewhere. Then, I decided that hiddenheritage would be perfect for her since all of her heritage has been hidden from her for her entire life. Alas, that username was taken for something else. After beating my head against the wall for awhile as I went through the books again for ideas, secretheritage came to mind. It's perfect. She's in a Secret coven and her heritage was hidden/kept a secret from her until recently.

Mine are all either totally uncreative, or quotes, la!

unburnt_queen is because that is literally what she is. Even if you ignore Dany's claim to the Iron Throne, which would make her Queen of Westeros (and the Andals and the blah blah blah), a khaleesi is a queen, and that was and is her title through her marriage to Khal Drogo. And then, you know, she walked into his funeral pyre and didn't burn up, because fire cannot kill a dragon and all that. :D

thegirl_onfire is Katniss' canon nickname/propaganda name. I do not have a theme shh. Anyway, when Katniss and Peeta first show up to the Capitol, they have to be shown off as the tributes have their opening ceremonies. Traditionally, the tributes are dressed to reprepsent their district's economy (Finnick, from Four's fishing trade, wore a net in the Quell, for instance.) And unfortunately, Twelve is home to coalmining, so usually tributes had to wear sad little miner outfits. But Katniss had the most brilliant stylist ever, so she and Peeta wore suits that allowed them to be ON FIRE. YAY. That theme continues through the other two books, with Katniss being literally set on fire a couple times, and wearing at least one other outfit that bursts into flames.

sexonyoursheets is a canon quote! The opposing football team one night is throwing out Yo Mama jokes, so Puck, being the MILF-lover he is, throws out: "Hey, ankle grabber -- I had sex with your mother. No, seriously....I cleaned your pool, and then I had sex with her in your bed. Oh, and nice Star Wars sheets." It's modified to be Space Battles in Fandom, natch.

bookworm_beauty is really as basic as it gets. Belle is beautiful and everyone is always fawning over that, while simultaneously being utterly confused by how much she likes to read.

unlimitedgoals is another canon quote-based one. Joan is congratulating Peggy on a promotion from secretary to copywriter, and says: " I said congratulations, didn't I? Although, sometimes when people get what they want they realize how limited their goals were." Joan's pointing out that now that Peggy's gotten what she wants, where to from here? Whereas Joan herself would never let herself be limited by a single goal that way.

dabblinginbitch is actually credited to willbethenight. I initially had your_dream_girl and girlofhisdreams in mind, but those reference a Scott who isn't here. Ramona tells Scott at one point, when he questions her past dating choices, that she "dabbled in being a bitch." As you can tell, she's not done dabbling yet. :D

justwantsquiet is another easy one. Sookie gets massively bad headaches from her telepathy, learns secrets she never wanted to know, sees things she never wanted to see, and is a basic case of Blessed with Suck. She just wants some damn quiet in her head, please.

auroryborealis is something someone wrote in Rory's senior yearbook in canon, and since rory__gilmore was a) boring and b) soon to be inaccurate since she was getting married a few months after I changed her name, I went ahead and used it!

actingltcrumpet - Archie Kennedy's nickname in Horatio Hornblower fandom was "Crumpet." As a midshipman, he was frequently called upon to be an acting lieutenant. Therefore, username. See? Easy.

overlord_zordon - There was something about the idea of a giant floating alien head who masterminded a lot of the fight against evil and was the Dean of Students at the time being referred to as an "overlord" that made me laugh a lot. I like contrast/irony in my usernames, can you tell?

drjcovington - . . . yeah, Doctor Janice Covington, professor of archaeology and Gabrielle's identical descendant far down the line. SUPER INVENTIVE. Look, she was in a single clip-show episode. I didn't have much clever canon dialogue fodder to work with.

queen_of_zagreb - Yitzhak. Drag queen. "The most famous drag queen in all of Zagreb," as a matter of fact. Using that username with icons of a scrawny guy with perpetual beard stubble was hilarious if you're me.

blossomsofice - Sakura Nishihori was known for being the pragmatic, unemotional, detached one on the Boukenger team, constantly referred to as "cool" or "cold" by her teammates, at least according to the fansub translations. Her name's also Sakura, so: Blossoms of Ice.

ladycfitzgerald - Anne Shirley (yes, Rilla's mother) totally Mary Sued herself into all kinds of stories she'd make up in her head. She talks about imagining she was a rich, stunning beauty named Lady Cordelia Fitzgerald, and I liked the allusion to her imagination.

isntabitpretty - Sara Stanley (hello, other L.M. Montgomery canon!) is captivating because of her personality and her voice, but as her cousin Dan says "No, she isn't [pretty]. But you'll think she is while she's talking to you. Everybody does. It's only when you go away from her that you find out she isn't a bit pretty after all."

connernotconnor - Pretty self-explanatory, right? Conner McKnight, on more than one occasion, made sure to specify that his name was "Conner with an E." And then Power Rangers Dino Thunder did an episode called "The Passion of Connor." SIGH. Really, showrunners?

laceycantlie - Because it's true. She gets all stammery and twitchy and it's painfully obvious. It's also, verbatim, what Oscar Leroy tells Lacey her reputation in Dog River is.

boho_to_be -- Because Christian is going to be a true! Bohemian! revolutionary! someday.

chasingangela -- A play on her surname and the movie "Chasing Amy." Blah blah blah pursuit of self. Oooh, deep.

cutestripeyhat -- Because I was apping Vi before Felicia Day was famous, and the hat was the easiest way to explain which one she was.

doesnt_vomit -- I can't remember the context, but for some reason Temperance Brennan announcing she didn't vomit cracked me up. La.

ella_obeys -- It's her name, and she does.

game_of_you -- Didn't pick this name, but it's the title of one of the Sandman collections.

living_endless -- A play on the saying "the living end," as well as a reference to the fact Didi was a mortal and an Endless. I still really like this one.

meetingsnoopy -- In canon, Melody says that if she went back in time she'd like to meet Snoopy. Coming to Fandom struck me as the kind of thing that would ping her similarly.

saveyoulater -- This is what Sarah promises in canon at one of the many points where it looks like Chuck is being carted away by the bad guys, Never to Return. It also refers to the fact that she probably is going to save your ass, so nyah.

swipedthatfoot -- Okay, so in canon Claire's first serious boyfriend gets her to suck his toes, then tells his lame friends all about it. They write crap about "little piggies" or whatever on Claire's car. Claire, for reasons that no doubt have to do with being a grief-stricken 17-year-old stoner who grew up in a funeral home, decides the way to retaliate is to steal a foot from the morgue and plant it in her boyfriend's bag. He, understandably, freaks. (Her confession, incidentally, was something like "I didn't burn down a house! ... I might have swiped that foot, though.")

thetoughestcook -- It's what Colette calls herself in canon when she's dressing down Linguini.

tyler_back -- Refers back to tyler_gone, which refers to the canon scene where Marla comes by and the narrator tells her something like, "I don't know where Tyler is. Tyler left. Tyler gone." I figured he'd be in a similar emotional place when he came to Fandom. Also, there's the idea of the Tyler personality being gone .... or not.

@havetoolswilltravel (also his AIM sn) is a reference to his construction/repair business.

thatsabigstake: was her fh_wishverse journal, and will never cease to childishly amuse me.

@f-cupcake is her Twitter handle. Because her name starts with an F and she likes making cupcakes and she's just oblivious enough to not realize it implies that she has a huge rack. (She does, but not an F-cup. It's usually about a D unless The Cartoonist is having a Terry Moment and draws her too thin.)

Our main NPC journal for the toongirls is dirtylily - most of the people played out of it have the same suggestive lily tattoo as Katchoo and Francine - while their futurekid Lillian is notdirtylily.

Francine's mom is marieofsuburbia after the Dorothy Parker verse: "Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song/ A medley of extemporanea;/ And love is a thing that can never go wrong;/ And I am Marie of Roumania." Marie Peters wavers between wanting Francine to have the most perfect white-picket-fence marriage ever, and being so. incredibly. bitter. about the way her own turned out.

David Qin, Katchoo's not-husband in the not-future that's not happening in 20 years, secretly the half-brother of Katchoo's lesbian-mafia-head ex, former gang member and current earnest, penitent, unassuming art student, is drawingbreath. His attitude toward the possibility of Katchoo eventually falling for him: "As long as we're both drawing breath..." Katchoo: *cracks up* We'll pretend it's at the art pun.

Emmett Honeycutt: hazlehurstmiss. He's from Hazlehurst, Mississippi, and he's... Emmett. Plus mississippiqueen is one letter too long for LJ's user-name limits. Dammit.

Edmund Blackadder: prof_of_cunning. Edmund, unlike Baldrick's plan that we never got to hear, is as cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University. Or in this case, Fandom High.

Okay, this is nookiepowered's fault, but have some of my favorite NPC/guest spot journal names plus character Twitter handles because why the hell not.

istunbadpeople is one of my favorite guest journal names, from when I had Davis Quinton from Corner Gas at CopCon. Davis Quinton doesn't let details like being half of the entire Dog River Police Department, because Dog River is a town with one four-way stop and nothing for the DRPD to do except nap in their cars all day or play table hockey on duty, stop him from blowing the entire month's budget on a taser. When fellow/subordinate officer Karen Pelly calls him on what he'd even do with it?

Davis: "Stun people."
Karen: "What kind of people?"
Davis: "Bad people."

The only person he ever ends up stunning, incidentally, is himself.

andletthemgaze is from when I played Mercutio for withoutverona in the Field of Dreams plot, from Mercutio's line "Men's eyes were made to look, and let them gaze." It was pretty perfect for how flamboyant and non-selfconscious he is.

thefirstycircus is the catch-all NPC journal I'm (sporadically) using for Kennedy's (currently on winter hiatus oh-god-my-brain pause, sorry) canon catchup stuff, and is a reference to a Buffy line about "the whole Firsty circus" rolling into town.

@tahiriveila - Please, like Tahiri is savvy enough about social media to come up with a clever handle. My whole backstory there is that she only got a Twitter account to follow Hope Solo and had a running search for "Solo" going, which is how she found Jaina on there and realized people from Fandom were on the Twittermachines.

@PinkChronoCop - That's Jen's. It's not terribly imaginative but then again neither is Jen, who would be all "It's accurate and practical, what more do you want?"

@browniepoints- Steph, on the other hand, is practically legally obligated as a Robin to make a pun on her own name. There's also the implication that she spends a lot of time trying to earn Batman's approval.

I haven't come up with one for Anders yet; Gabrielle doesn't use Twitter (in my head this is because the 140-characters thing frustrated her too much) and neither does Katchoo (who doesn't want to be trackable on social media in case people from her Lesbian Mafia days come looking).

Kennedy's Twitter handle is totally @SpecialK but I won't have a chance to use that one for a while, aww.

For Topher, @brinkofgenius is the username of another Topher RPer on LJ, so I felt weird about using it, but he's arrogant and smart-alecky enough to make a pun on his own name and call himself a genius. Sigh, kid.

For Miley, @notsotypical is a lyric of hers from the song "Rock Star," and it's totally like her to use it when she's tweeting as Miley because she is duuuumb.

@HannahMontana, meanwhile, speaks for itself.

puddingordeath (Dorian Owens): This is the result of a very very long thread of emails between myself and nimeni. All our ideas were either too long or already taken, and we kept translating relevant words (badly) into Latin and finding out those were taken too. I think the last contender before this was white_burrito because we were getting desperate. YES. THAT DESPERATE. I'm actually pretty pleased with this one, since it kinda-sorta combines the kid's parents' usernames (pre-namechange), plus it's a little silly but still morbid.

eyelidkisses (Marshall Gregson & Lionel Trane): This is just a cute thing Marshall and Lionel did, and so it became their joined journal name.

always_be_her (Lynda P. Frazier): In her own words, Lynda will "always be [Princess Valhalla Hawkwind]... a little".

stupidhairzach (Zach Handwavy): All to amuse nimeni, to be honest, since Zach's stupid hair was long-standing joke way before he ever showed up IG.
